A very good dose of reality Jack. You nailed it.
On the MindMed pipeline graphic, psilocybin is pretty much a footnote. No clinical trials are being done so far and it seems none are in the works. However I did read the PR on Robert Barrow and saw the reference you mention to psilocybin as an additional program. The fact that JR would mention psilocybin specifically is interesting in itself and kind of surprised me. It may indicate something is being planned. Why else would he say it?
My feeling as well. There's a mistaken assumption that MindMed is a psilocybin company. At the present time they are not and it does make them unique. The psilocybin space is getting very crowded while MindMed is creating a niche.
A little sensitive today 'eh hotmeat? At least you're consistent.
The hiring of Dr Fahy was kind of a "whoaa" moment, a strong indicator. I feel like this company is in a good position but hope we don't end up a Jack of all trades and a master of none. We'll see, maybe diversity will turn out to be a good thing.
Thank you for some common sense and reason. It's been lacking a bit on this board lately from some of the iHubbers who are playing a video game with their money instead of knowing what they have their money into.
You're quite emotional today.
Funny you should say that. In a recent interview with JR and Kevin O'Leary, O'Leary actually threw out that idea. A combination of MindMed with Compass and/or Atai to reduce cost of capital and create the "Pfizer of psychedlics", those were his exact words. All JR would say was that M&A activity in the sector would heat up this year.
Well he called out the pumpers and look who showed up...right on cue.
Funny shit!
It really has nothing to do with him. I don't want him to stop being the Warrior. I've just always had this curiousity with why people talk in the third person. It started with Bob Dole. But this is a message board where a little fun and levity is always needed. Keep on Warrior, do your thing.
LOL...At least you're consistent. Remember Bob Dole? He spoke in third person too. He was a good guy and I'm sure you are too. You are a guy right? Want to be PC whenever I can.
You are absolutely right my friend.
Great question. Bucillamine has been used in the Orient for a long time, 20 years I believe, for a variety of things. Gout and RA are examples. Could the FDA use that data and fast track for those diseases? I don't know maybe somebody else does. Covid may not be the gold here. The effectiveness of RA drugs for Covid has been hit or miss anyway. Bucillamine would have to be more effective than Remdesivir for physicians to even consider it. Yes the mechanism Bucillamine is different but physicians want to use the most effective drug. That's what they care about. All the talk on this Board about the science behind Bucillamine is pretty meaningless if it's not effective.
Your out of gas...classic.
You're going to need alot more than that. Come on...bring it.
Is that all you got?
Slow and steady guys. No worries.
And some jokers that post on their real accounts are hilarious.
Thank you. I appreciate your rational and pragmatic understanding of this company.

On July 29, 2020 CRBP raised 121 million dollars from investors. Yes 121 million. On Sept 8 the stock dropped 80% on a failed phase 3 study of Lenabasum.
Is that enough for you? I'm sure I can find more.
I understand your point but there is a huge difference between Revive and all these other companies. Revive has extremely important phase 3 results coming imminently that will significantly affect the SP, the others do not.
Yes I agree, the timing of this offering makes no sense. If they're expecting positive phase 3 results and a positive ETF catalyst then why put up the offering beforehand? It smells like an act of desperation. And yes I agree the longs are getting hurt here. It doesn't matter if the pending news is good or bad, the the longs are taking it in the shorts.
Yes you could very well be right and I'm open to that. I'm not questioning their need for money. What I'm concerned about, and it's just a concern, is that when management puts up a stock offering the goal is to have the highest possible stock price...correct? That's the point, to raise as much money as possible while issuing the fewest amount of shares. This is my question, and it's only a question not a statement, does management not believe their SP will be higher in another month? If so, that would be a prime reason to have the offering now just as they have done. Yes there could be other reasons and boy I hope there are. They'll have a strong position in the ETF and interim phase 3 results are close. These are two catalysts that should pump the SP...yes? So again, does management not believe their SP will be higher in another month? Why? One answer would be negative interim phase 3 results that push the SP down. But another prime reason for the offering would be exactly what you said, they need the money now, like right now. Trust me I hope that's what it is. I hope you are right and I am wrong.
I just went to their website and looked at past PRs, it was about 5-6 weeks. CRBP is Corbus Pharmaceuticals. A small biotech just like RVVTF. I recall that when they put up the stock offering, a few people on several message boards threw up a red flag and said it was not a good sign. That CRBP was raising money because they knew the trial failed and their SP would crash after the results were made public. Sure enough that's what happened. It went from 9+ to 2 bucks right at the market open and has never recovered. I hope RVVTF is different because I am invested here too, but this is eerily the same. Here's the bottom line question, why would a company raise money through a stock offering today if they really believed and knew their SP was going to be higher in a few weeks?
Here's my concern, how many times have we seen these small biotechs have a stock offering right before bad clinical trial results? It happens all the time. If you have good news coming why would you have an offering beforehand? It's better to wait until after the good news when your stock price rises. Instead it makes all the sense in the world to have an offering before bad news that will cause your stock price to plummet. A recent example is CRBP. They had a stock offering a month before the disasterous lenabasum clinical trial that dumped their stock 80%.
Go to the Horizons website and there is no mention of this ETF. Nothing...not even a peep. Horizons has not publically acknowledged it even exists. All we have are regulatory filings. No PR from Horizons or Solactive. Go to the Solactive website and there is no mention of the Index the ETF is to follow.
Frequently, reverse splits are followed by a stock offering and dilution. This would be a long term drag on stock price amongst other things. Now of course if this is not the plan, then I'm in complete agreement with you.
Exactly..."not sure just yet." Look I understand all of the excitement, but meeting NASDAQ minimum requirements is the 800 pound gorilla in the room. How do they reach $3 minimum without a reverse split? And would have to be a massive reverse split. 10 to 1?
How do they intend to achieve minimum bis price of $3? Reverse split?
Yeah and many of the job postings have to do with marketing and distribution...good thing. If you're looking for a lot of conversation about CRBP check out Stocktwits. All kinds of chatter about it there.
CRBP has said summer ends on 9/22, but the SSc data release is supposed to be out a month before CF Phase 2b data which is due at end of month. So could be any day.
Thanks showing up...I've been coming to this post every couple of days and wondering why it's a ghost town.
I'm with you LaGolfer. Patience will pay off on this one.
Hmmmm....Why did GGBXF not come after LHSIF? It seemed like a natural fit. Maybe not. Any thoughts?
I bought GGBXF a few months ago on a dip. I had watched them for awhile and couldn't help but notice a sense of determination. They seemed driven and wanting to take on the "New World" of cannabis. Slips and falls will happen in an emerging industry. The Aphra thing was kind of weird, but these guys seem hell-bent to figure it all out.
I was thinking the same. Everything was looking up and then all of a sudden...clunk! I would like to know what is going on too.
