We know the case will remain in NJ. I have been trying to see how similar cases have been resolved there. Also been researching the lawyers involved. The lawyer for Fortress was involved with a pharma lawsuit. The other side has a veteran rookie pairing.
The thing I want to know is what happens after. Is there a shareholder reward or do we have to see if INVT goes back to being a viable business.
looking at a 2 to 4 year window for when the case resolves.
Apple looks to always fight the long fight. probably part of their policy to punish patent trolls with long litigation.
Hopefully they can see reason and the cost saving benefits of doing it via settlement.
damn i had the same dream
WiLan vs Apple is a pretty interesting comparative study to what INVT is currently doing.
Agreed. A buyback early after kenaf production would erase a lot of doubt. It would be hard to pin Bruce as a fraud if he awards SHs. Plus it would be cheaper to do it soon. But how much did he make off of kenaf?
Agreed. The punitive damages should be substantial.
That Bid is slowly raising. Something in the works?
I gotta do another sitdown to really get the specifics of the deal with TCA. But for the most part they are really just getting cash by selling a stake of the lawsuit. I dunno how that will pan out for shareholders exactly but it does mean less of the settlement for us. But overall not a bad play for INVT.
From what I gather the company is firstly about the legal cases and secondly about licenscing IoT tech from GTXO. SoliDDD seems dead in the water right now. I haven't heard much about their licensing with the solar mounting tech.
You gotta be patient. At least be assured that through this thorough process HEMP can't be made illegal on a whim. So although the process is long it solidifies hemp as a legit crop.
Been trying to reassess a good timeline for the court case. I am not sure those financials will ever be released until the case closes.
I have been following GTXO financials to see what I could glean about INVT.
It will just be a continuation of the previous bill.
Also keeping the venue in NJ avoids delaying the case since it wouldn't have to be restart under a new judge.
Court cases in NJ vice Cali may be more favorable for INVT SPE in terms of patent infringement cases.
I only say this because HTC lawyers wanted NorCal.
Not quite sure what it means to have both verdicts for Apple and HTC to happen at the same time. But I have sneaking suspicion a deal has been reached or is in the works for ZTE. I only say that because I do not know why ZTE was not included with Apple and HTC.
GTS. Motion to move case to North Cali denied. Judgement for Apple and HTC to happen same time.
new case movement. check pacer.
You know I wish would be less about showmanship and more about business. The PR is a joke. What are the numbers from this deal? I am talking about the LCM shipments. For those of us that are about business he looks like a crook. For those of us that believe in HEMP he looks like a saint. I am guessing he is somewhere in between. So frustrating.
take a look at UOIP case. It is a pretty interesting comparison to INVT
case was sealed Apr 6. I was thinking 180 days from that for an early settlement offer. Why would they seal it otherwise? The tech is well known. Only reason I can see it happening so the amount settled would be hidden.
I share that sentiment. But this is truly a patience game.
how big of a block is that .0375 ask
Last I remember hearing is that he doesn't plan to bring it up to process hemp until he needs to. I believe his last comment was that the kenaf was sufficient for his business in terms of producing LCMs. Kinda snarky response but it does make sense.
I cpuld use some education on what that all means. I got in for the lawsuits.
yeah looking at all three cases and I see the procedures have been sealed. It seems that the financial report is being sealed. Maybe it is part of evidence to show how disruptive the patent infringement had been to the company's ability to operate.
any word on the amount of sales produced. or did he sell it uber cheap
let's see what happens 28 July
I wouldnt be too worried at this price. If he is indeed generating revenue so be it. You gotta price what his company will be worth when hemp becomes legal. the problem is determining what products he will have to sell.
I am curious as to what benefit INVT may have received from the ZTE situation. Just in the news ZTE lost a patent case against Maxwell to the tune of 43 million. ZTE violated 7 patents in regards to smartphone and tablet technology. Don't know how to post link to the article.
haha good point.
what is the outstanding shares at these days. Someone suggested 2.5 billion. Ihub shows 755 million.
I get the Bruce hate. Admittedly at this time there is a lot of dilution. But give the man a break until hemp becomes legal. Granted he isn't there to dominate the market bit he has a good chance out of the gate.
damn these Senate hearings are only fun when u toke
I haven't. The only news I really want to know is about that case. But I figured no one at INVT can talk about it. I been looking at the lawyers bio and trying to see where NJ stands on patent infringement cases. The last thing before the case was sealed was that there was a motion to move the case to North Cali. But that is because it is more friendly towards patent enforcement. I believe that motion was denied.
I do hope Bruce is poised to get a strong foothold in the emerging hemp market.
But legalization first. Then intense scrutiny on his business.
I definitely don't think it is a scam. Pretty elaborate if it was. What I do believe is Bruce is generating money for himself through dilution. Will he use those funds to further the business or will run off to Cabo.
The issue with HEMP is complex.
Bruce has laid a lot of groundwork but I think he is overselling his accomplishments. Too many hokey videos that seem to be made just to rope along investors until legalization occurs. I am all for hemp but wish there was better info on how he plans for the business to take off when he is given the federal green light. Right now getting a straight answer on O/S is even hard to do.
haha nice. I hear you on that.
whoever put that ask price is hilarious
If the court awards INVT that then a 200 million settlement would be great!
Next step Senate! Come on Mitchy get those hemp provisions on and get it passed.
profit takers. common occurrence.
