Carsmax177, I'm wondering same. eom
kayakzz, the CEO confirmed that we're awaiting a decision from the FAA just like the rumors on the board. To be fair.
That is stealing from shareholders AKthisistheone. Seriously, they're almost in triple o's....pathetic.
The government leaks more top secret information to the press than we can get from a friggin air line company.
Release a regular standard PR Baltia.
emit, wouldn't you agree (and this is a rhetorical question) that any news for Baltia that may impact our pps is material.
BobLeeUmpreyUresti, thank you for actually posting the regulation. As I understand it, the Baltia CEO's message to stockholders from facebook, Baltia has never released a PR announcing to all investors that Baltia is going to communicate using facebook or during conference calls with analysts (we can almost always listen to the conference calls with analysts).
Thanks again.
Mithrandir67, I don't want to attack you; so I will give the law to you; so you can understand:
Get it through your head that IR cannot give YOU information about Baltia until every stockholders receives the news at the same time.
I know this because 1) SEC regulations and 2) I called the Dynegy IR department, a fortune 500 company and asked about something and the girl in the IR department said she isn't allowed to comment until ALL stockholders are given the information simultaneously in a PR.
I have posted this repeatedly. IR cannot tell us anything until they can release it in a PR. If there is a meeting, IR can't tell only you!!!!!!!!
yes, and we started this new information more than a month ago, in fact, there were pics posted with the Baltia plane and a lift and maintenance staff working under the plane (again, a month ago).
The new rumor is the plane had to fly somewhere to get this new upgraded NLG.
The bottom line is Baltia's flight crew could and should have passed at least the second mini... it's simple, in a controlled environment open the evacuation doors, deploy slides, passengers slide on slides to safety. There it is. The FAA decides which doors to open using their "simulate a fire" device to see which doors stay closed.
Nobody fails it seven times and this is in a perfectly controlled situation. These are conditions you wouldn't find in a real emergency situation. I've seen that too..it is pandimonium: people climbing on top of other people, on top of the rows of seats, creating a "log jam" of panicked passengers all trying to squeeze through one door at the same time (ONE DOOR)...with fires blazing, smoke, toxic fumes, with tons of jet fuel on the tarmac. Imagine a stampede. So yeah, Baltia should have already passed one of those mini's. The Baltia CEO said it would work in a real emergency, and he spoke the truth. If they could get all those doors open and more than one slide deployed, mini seven would work nicely in a critical evac scenerio.
There is something suspicious going on and I cannot guess what it could be; but the pps is very deliberately being suppressed and Baltia isn't helping it when they don't PR substantial information.
Sure Firestream, we've heard there are enough whales to fund this start-up airline and get it into service.
The number of mini's Baltia's crew has had to do is ridiculous from an experienced flight crew. On the third or fourth mini, they could have done it blindfolded. I would love to read all seven mini's and where the FAA found some reason to do what they did.
It's just a few number of slides that have to be deployed and the conditions under which Baltia's crew performs are totally controlled. I watched a mini evac on youtube a month ago and it was totally smooth and easy and all of the alleged passengers exited the plane orderly and the slides deployed perfectly and it was so smooth that I find it hard to believe Baltia's crew didn't do it on the first try much less the sixth try. And that is what is very suspicious with the FAA and Baltia.
They could merge tomorrow and have revenues. Kalitta is the former owner of that plane that Baltia does all the mini's with. Why would Kalitta buy that plane if they didn't intend to use it. Strange.
But this is a productive topic. Thanks for suggesting this sort of idea.
How about this idea. Kalitta changes its name to Baltia and brings with it their air carrier certification and revenues. Suddenly Kalitta is a publicly traded stock with revenues and the 747-200 flies with Kalitta's air carrier certification.
The two are already sharing an airport, a simulator and maintenance staff and Baltia is in a win win situation. Either they get their air carrier certification with the FAA or they get it with a merge with Kalitta.
Kalitta's planes already fly with people on them and the freight revenue is a bigger revenue stream than passengers and voila, in an instant, Baltia becomes a real air line company and kalitta gets to be public easily.
They'll be competing with Federal Express and other freight carriers AND they can fly passengers on Baltia's exclusive routes.
What was Kalitta doing with a 747-200 if they weren't flying passengers? Just for fun?
Robodog, if Kalitta owned the 747-200, why weren't they interested in flying passengers with their air carrier certification.
Firestream, you're on my favorite poster list, so just so you know that in advance. Maybe it is what it is just like CEO said on facebook...but the pps shouldn't be at this level if it is what it is unless it is being manipulated on purpose.
Stocks usually go up on anticipation in stock world. And this is likely the most anticipated mini success ever!!
Just sayin'
Robodog, what is this relationship with Baltia and Kalitta and the plane and simulator and airport.
They seem to work together. Is Kalitta just being nice to Baltia and that is how Baltia got the plane.
There seems to be more to Kalitta now than before. Why doesn't Kalitta go for the air carrier certification instead of Baltia if Kalitta is already flying.
Lots of questions and looking for answers that make common sense.
Thank you as always for your thoughts as an experienced professional in avionics.
military contract eventually just a learner, interesting that is part of Kayak's theory... military contracts with Kalitta. Many ideas are important; because we all need to think.
Robodog, I'm not the only person on this board that thinks there is something strange about the pps and it feels like it is being deliberately suppressed for some reason.
The pps should have gone up after we heard from our CEO. Because it is an airline company on the OTC and it's an airline company international.
It shouldn't even be trading in the sub pennies; because a lot about penny stocks is believing in the companies' business plan.
The pps should be better because we've completed more than 90% of the faa carrier certification process.
And our experienced flight crew shouldn't have to have more than 3 mini's before it successfully completes the mini evac. And Baltia's crew has had to do a 90 second evac in a CONTROLLED environment seven times! And we don't know the results of the 7th mini like all the other mini's accomplished.
There had to be FAA assistance with sealed tape to prevent tampering or to notice tampering with Baltia's mini evac; and you have to think it's possible or they wouldn't have done that with the seal tape. They must have had cause for suspicion on mini number 7 to go to those lengths for Baltia.
I bet Virgin America didn't have to have sealed doors to detect tampering.
Who would want to tamper with Baltia's air carrier certification anyways. It is just another airline with one plane to begin with.
Wow kayakzz, that is a wild theory in light of the CEO's update on facebook telling the stockholders that an internal geometric strap got entangled, and no fault of Baltia and Baltia couldn't have known about the manufacturer's packing the slide incorrectly...and that a comprehensive fix was completed.
But, now we would need to know a lot more about Kalitta and its revenues and how much revenue would come from flying cargo and freight for Kalitta.
Interesting idea and Baltia has 70 employees to think about too.
The only snafu with the theory is the mini. In prior mini's we would know immediately the result; but this one is different.
Thank you for the idea... it's the result of the mini that is very huge that people didn't say it failed like they did before...and thats why most believe it was successful.
Baltia hopeful, tell me again where it flew to and from and either way, why spend money on fuel and crew to fly to another location and install new NLG before paying for another mini. Thank you.
kayakzz, certainly it seems that the company would share that information with its shareholders.
What I do is try to think of reasons that would make Baltia keep quiet about a positive mini #7; and I'm having a hard time with that...but I'm also wondering why we honestly haven't heard it wasn't completed successfully because for all the other mini's we heard the next day except for this one. Even you have to admit thats unusual.
For some reason it really feels like Baltia is wanting its stock price suppressed but I don't know why, it just feels deliberate.
Could Baltia be helping accredited investors to purchase at these prices to buy up a lot of the float at these prices before they release news that would lead to a huge pps change in the upward direction...or even a gap up in price.
As cash flow manager, I would apply funds to another mini before new NLG. It is a business with a very tight budget. Accordingly, I am guessing they already know they completed mini #7 successfully.
What is very clear is that things are progressing with the flight to YIP for maintenance and upgrades.
Congratulations choover8059!! And let's hope the time is near where we'll hear something. We have to hear something.
Yes, Thank you so much certdog your posts are great and informative. So we're good!! Thanks againk:)
and its been 90 days since mini number 7.. This is why there has to be some activity in the most recent three months, in my opinion, because of that 90 day clause.
yes emit, I too would like to think that because of the inordinate amount of time for an answer coupled with certdog's posting of the 121 cert process where it says if there is 90 days of inactivity, the air carrier may have to restart the entire process from beginning.
To the board: do not argue with me. you have to go find where certdog posted a section verbatim of the part 121 certification process from his research. In those regs there IS a sentence that says if after inactivity of 90 days, FAA can require the air carrier restart certification process from the beginning!!!! Just trust me.
This is why I think that there is something going on in the back channels that has not been released in a PR...and the strange pps.
Awesome certdog; because, that means Baltia could have knowledge it already got its PASS for its successfully completing the mini and they have their reasons for not releasing results just yet. Are we clear? Would you agree to that? TIA
When you get a chance Robodog, is it possible that Baltia knows that they passed the evac and haven't announced it yet and maybe they already started proving flights without telling us. Could they be doing something under the radar?
That would explain our pps being suppressed deliberately while working on something else.
Thanks in advance.
Certification after proving flights and somebody on the board who knows how these things work will say we have to do 50 or 100 hours of proving flights and can that be done before December 9th.
Interesting.
Obviously, Baltia has fleet increase already included in Business Plan. Just read the 10Q's management's discussion and analysis and you will see Baltia's business plan. Baltia will have a fleet... one plane at a time please...just getting this plane certified is a stressful enough harrowing process.
cuttin, if Qatar wants an ownership interest in this American corporation, they could easily do a buyback program with all those billions in oil revenues.
Position: long Recommendation: strong purchase.
And oddly it held. Strange. eom
Maybe I should try to get on base at Hurlbert Field or Eglin AFB and see if they are putting on a Baltia Show.
rodeoup, I knew I follow you for a reason; because that is my thinking too. I am trying to be conservative; but I honestly believe that this stock is set to climb wildly when we get the news of beginning proving flights.
Just think how huge this is to be an airline company. I consider when we get to proving flights, we're pretty much there.
Without concrete news or fluff PR's, we are at the mercy of the flippers.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
I wasn't going to post anymore until next week; but integral, that has nothing to do with us. We filed the proper forms for private placement and with Tony's background and resume Baltia has all the connections she needs to get the 10 million.
Seriously, it is $20,000 to get in at this black jack table. Baltia isn't waiting until next July. What a Ludicrous post. I was forced to respond.
Happy Thanksgiving.
you're probably correct troyal. I know I have this 'thing' about shorts and manipulation; but it's because I have seen it sooooooo much.
That is why I think you're probably right about this.
pps will go up once we're air carrier certified and begin selling tickets; although, during proving flights, when we can watch our awesome plane in action, the pps could climb a little.
Have a nice Thanksgiving everybody.
What if we need an R1 deployment like some suggested, even though we passed that mini fair and square. That means a slight delay and awaiting a decision and if some got this information, if it has any basis, then that explains the pps plummet.
seriously, I really would purchase at this level if I had some more funds.
recommendation: strong purchase
position: long
Our plane finally flew and the pps needs to reflect that fact and it isn't which brings me back to the same theory about suppressing the pps to get all the weak hands' shares. It's typical.
I would explain more but it requires me to mention another stock and we're not supposed to do that.
Just hold on for the nightmare pps ride. It will go up.
We stay focused on what is happening with the company. We want it to succeed. They are doing maintenance and preparing for proving flights...but the market wants to really hear the word "proving" flights from the company and we need a date for it to begin (imo).
emit, we need news, a PR in fact, you're totally right :)
We're going to need that PR going into the holidays and approval from the FAA, the artificial downward pressure on the pps is annoying.
Owning an international air line is prestigious and certainly that is the intention of the accredited investors and all other investors.
Sort of thought the plane flying would get the pps ball rolling in the upright position.
Robodog, I've been in a long running conversation with another investor about this odd selling pressure to suppress the pps.
If shorts were covering on the open market, they would be on the bid buying at the ask (if they thought it was urgent).
I am thinking about another conspriacy theory that has merit. For some unknown (and I think great) reason, there is a lot of pressure being put on the pps to keep driving it down.
The company did sell some shares to raise capital; it could be that; but sometimes it seems more than that. At least we have many willing buyers!! to absorb the selling pressure.
Either way, in my opinion, once she really flies on that 1st proving flight and we can track Baltia, we will really be an international airline; because that would suggest the only two remaining items are mere formalities like speckulater said...formalities for whatever we have to do after the proving flights.
Then it's the Inaugural Flight. I keep imagining it...not the climb in price so much as Baltia's success against all odds.
Thank you for all your great knowledge and DD robodog...it's totally cool to be an avionics engineer. It's really impressive. Thanks again.
Deductive reasoning at its finest speckulater, this is awesome news. I'm just waiting to hear about our proving flights and our frequency allocation renewal. I know we already have our frequency allocation; but we're just awaiting the renewal seems to be the good posters' consensus.
YAY: Baltia Position: long Recommendation: strong purchase
Hope to hear some good news finally of progress the week of Thanksgiving for precious Turkey Day...and we will really be giving thanks to many, including Baltia.
position: long and strong purchase.
