BASHERS KNOW LESS THAN I FORGOT ---> $5.00
Bangladesh's advantage READ BABY
Although this is impossible to predict if the US dollar will further rise or could fall to lower levels than in the past year, low-cost countries clearly gained some advantage in the first quarter, especially to China.
While Chinese yuan was still pegged to the US dollar, Bangladeshi taka was down 8% in the first quarter after rising 3.4% in 2004.
Such a devaluation gives a clear advantage to Bangladesh as textile quotas are eliminated, helping domestic exporters in facing competition in the coming months.

Good post. Miamimice doesn't understand the apparel industry.

FINN ALSO SAID THIS .....
Veltex Corp. (OTC: VLXC) clearly has enormous appreciation potential based on its realistic revenues and net profits projections! It is very rare to discover a company whose stock is so undervalued and yet has everything in place for a dynamic near-term upward move to significantly higher prices. This is a well managed company, with a strong vertical infrastructure in place that expects to generate revenues in excess of $40 million in 2004 with net profits of over $6 million or approximately $0.80+/- net earnings per share (EPS). The Company is currently undergoing its audit for 2003, which is expected to be completed soon. Furthermore, Veltex expects to have its 2004 audit done in the second quarter of 2005. Upon its completion the Company plans on becoming fully reporting with the SEC and moving to a larger exchange. Investor confidence should be significantly enhanced when Veltex becomes fully reporting. Additionally, larger investors and institutional traders will be able to purchase shares of Veltex once the Company is listed on a major exchange and is filing SEC statements.
We strongly believe that VLXC shares could justifiably be trading in excess of $8 per share (potentially much higher) within the coming 12 months. If the stock only carried a Price Earnings Multiple (PE) of 10 X, the shares would be trading in the $8.00 area, based on 2004's net profits forecast of $0.80/share! Our excitement is magnified by our belief that 2005 will continue to show substantial growth in revenues and net earnings. This year, Veltex plans to enter the $6 billion surf apparel industry and hire up to 50 new sales representatives in the first two quarters of 2005. Also, the Company has developed several products that it plans to market to major retailers such as Kohl’s, JC Penney, Sears, Wal-Mart and Kmart.
It would not surprise us if Veltex topped $50 million in total sales in 2005 and/or made some further synergistic acquisitions, which would further greatly expand the Company’s profitability. The shares are currently trading about midway between VLXC’s 52-week low/high price range and, in our opinion, present an exceptional buying opportunity for investors. Keep in mind that the “float” is relatively small at only 2 million shares, so, as the investment community “discovers” this company, demand will undoubtedly accelerate and, consequently, the share price of VLXC could move rather rapidly to much higher levels. That is our expectation.
This is truly a rapidly growing, exciting Special Situation with substantial upside appreciation potential!
Veltex Chairman & CEO Javeed Matin used the knowledge he gained working in trade finance in the United States to open a trading business. In 1996 he became aware of a mill that was going out of business in the Southern United States, purchased the looms, and installed them in an old mill (Velvet Textile Mills) located in Comilla, Bangladesh. He funded the growth of Velvet Textile Mills through a reverse merger into a publicly trading shell in 1999, then returned to Bangladesh to manage the business of Velvet Textile Mills with the goal of building its business to a level that would support the creation of a United States distribution company.
We firmly believe that Veltex Corporation (OTC: VLXC) is severely undervalued at its current price of only $1.25. As a matter of fact, we can not recall ever finding a stock whose price is trading at LESS than two times forecasted Earnings Per Share (EPS). The Company continues to experience record revenues that have increased from $8.7 million in 2001 to projected $40 million+ in 2004. If one applies a very low and conservative PE of 10 X to 2004's projected net earnings of about $0.80 per share, it equates to a share price of $8.00, or about 7 times higher than VLXC’s current depressed price of $1.25. Moreover, the Company’s revenues and net income are expected to continue to accelerate at a record pace in 2005 and beyond. The current market cap is very low at less than $10 million or about one fourth of this year’s projected sales! Veltex has an exceptional management team, excellent profit margins, and is now positioned to become a major player in the multi-billion dollar apparel market. As a matter of fact, its distribution company alone could become a $100 million sales entity over the next few years. We are very enthused about the dynamic growth of Veltex and the incredible appreciation potential that we forecast for VLXC. We predict that this Special Situation will be a highly rewarding GRAND SLAM HOME RUN for loyal long term investors!
Matin will be proved brilliant. His wise use of company assets (include stock issues) and wise acquisitions will pay off for stockholders in the near future. That’s how large companies are built.
An audit of the auditors...
How do we know your fine auditors are not your "foot soilders"
When those auditors are done maybe you should audit the second group of auditors if they don't come to the answer you want.
I'm going to buy a shirt tomorrow. I want to see where it is made and the RN number. Veltex might just make the stuff for Gidget. The best case is that we own both Gidget and make the cloths. Anyway you cut it, it's good.... If we do both, that's what Veltex was talking about regarding cutting out the middlemen.
I guess Veltex did enter the surf industry....
"Veltex Corporation Expects Revenues in Excess of $40 Million for 2004 and is Entering the $6 Billion Surf Apparel Industry"
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., Dec 1, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Veltex Corporation (Pink Sheets: VLXC) expects revenues for 2004 to be over $40 million with net profits of over $7 million or $3 a share. The company currently has approximately 1.3 million shares in the float. Veltex plans on becoming fully reporting and moving off the pink sheets to a major exchange upon completion of its audits, which the company is currently undergoing.
Veltex Corporation plans to enter the $6 billion surf apparel industry. Using similar business models as Roxy and Quicksilver, Veltex will create and design apparel and accessories in order to establish itself in the surf apparel marketplace. Javeed Matin, Chairman and CEO states, "Entering the surf apparel industry offers great growth potential for Veltex. Even capturing a small percentage of this $6 billion industry will significantly impact our bottom line. We can offer customers a quality product at much lower prices than our competitors."

If Veltex was to issue about 500.000 shares of stock to pay for the product placement, how many here would be mad?
I'm going to try to buy a shirt tomorrow. Veltex might just make the stuff for Gidget. The best case is that we own both Gidget and make the cloths. Anyway you cut it, it's good.... If we do both, that's what Veltex was talking about regarding cutting out the middlemen.

My guess is that we have the outlets, we have the cloths, but we need to creat the demand.... That's where things like the surf competition come in...
Hey, I posted about 20 times without saying WOW... I should get credit for that. I am about 15 minutes from a surf store on the list. I'm going there tomorrow.
Veltex could print and sell a few shares to pay the fees to the tv producers. Is that a bad thing ?? That's a good use of additional shares....
Veltex needs to try to get placement of the surf cloths on a hit tv show. Pay to have someone wear it on a hit show. It might cost some, but I bet it could take off. Seeing the logo on primetime could instantly creat a strong demand from the kids. Those are the kind of ideas we need to talk with Matin about... Not what happened 3 years ago....
Dealers come and go, Some dealers will drop off and others will come on board. Some of the store are most likely small and don't sell much of anything. But that's how you get known. You have to get your product out there. Some will stop selling and some will order more. Sponsoring a surf competition was a great idea, I give Veltex credit for that.
Veltex says they have had an audit in Bangladesh. I have no idea but i would assume not many US accounting firms are going to pack up and go to Bangladesh to reveiw the situation. You have auditors in those counties that handle that....
MM.. You can put me on ignore, but you can't ignore the truth. I'm going to help this company any way I can. Why not email or call Matin with helpful suggestions and information. That's how stockholders act. We own the company.... Give him positive feedback when he takes positive steps. Just this week alone, an audit was released, we exhibited at a major trade show and we sponsored a surf competition. Show me any other pink sheet company that accomplished that much this week. I'm sure Matin would be glad to talk with anyone if they weren't always complaining...
To All: The trains leaving the station Monday... Get on board for $5.00 or get run over by the train.....
MM. If you and your followers want to fight a battle with Matin. Do so in the courts, don't hurt innocent stockholders with unproven facts. That's not how you treat others...
MM ... it's not your place to bring this company's share price down. You have hurt all stockholders and cost us all $$$, you should be ashamed of yourself.
You called me a "LOW LIFE" because I think Veltex is trying to build a successful company. That's sad. Veltex will move on from their mistakes in the past and grow. I'm sorry but that's the facts... Please don't call me a low life.....
Forget about the trucking audit... It's history.
Over... done.... finished... accounted for...
Veltex has moved past it.....
Miamimice ... tell us Gidget is a Scam ???
Heading of the picks baby.......

The Audit, this audit that, audit no good, attorneys .... BLAW BLAW BLAW.... The fact is that there are no better moves that Veltex is taking day by day to stimulate sales and grow......
That's how you build a company .....
