Dence", "wireing" and "ruggedized".
Glass houses and stones come to mind.
Not me.
I would have blown it on something else.
Portable helicopters, say.
As opposed to sorta fair.
All men are created equal. Some are just more equal than others.
You would think that they would have hired the talent they needed a very long time ago...
I'm sure their standards are the very highest. These kind of engineers don't just come out of school every day, you know. A company of their stature can afford to wait for the very best.
You know why?
Was her name Surely?
Having three bottoms can never be good.
Do you think that they've been hiring engineers for over a year or advertising that they're hiring engineers for over a year?
OK, folks. We're done with member's priorities.
Thanks.
Sorry, Buzz, wrote my reply before I saw this message.
You beat me to the conclusion.
I think these examples really highlight the difference between trading and investing. Good traders will never cash in on stocks that make these kinds of moves. Good investors are willing to let cash sit in a barrel for years on end.
People love to tell the tale of Microsoft. "If you had invested $10,000 in 1986 you'd have $30 million right now." Yeah, sure, as if anyone who invested 10g would have let the first 100g ride.
It's all in what you like.
According to Matt's ex, very quick.
Anybody want to talk about the market? Closes in 20 minutes. How'd you do today?
Never mind.
I can't see where it would be a good situation either.
Therefore, I can't see where a good moderator would allow it to happen. Seems like picking at straws to me.
Stone,
I'm not asking you to reply. I'm asking you to comply.
Tony,
Normally I don't get involved with these skirmishes. However, it has come to my attention that Matt might be receiving payments from people interested in manipulating the site. As Matt's boss I am deeply disappointed with this. Would you be willing to help?
Tell me what you have on Matt.
- chwdrhed - aka - Matt's boss.
The really scary part is that these are people that vote.
So the two of you are saying I had blatant disregard for the obviousness of the meaning?
...possibly blatantly false ...
How can you be possibly blatantly false? If it's blatant shouldn't it be obvious? If it's not obvious it's not blatant.
IMO, anyway.
I whispered your post to Matt (he sits next to me) and he told me you're free to go.
Are you also unencumbered?
lol.
Your unencomberedness is most evident.
lol.
I'll opt for the latter.
You're too kind.
Now all the poor souls unable to understand my sarcasm will get the joke too. Sadly, though, some of its original charm seems lost in the translation.
Funny,
The gist of this post could have been relevant at any time in the last four years.
That would be me, of course.
QOIL had a nice day. Too bad I can't sell it over the weekend.
I wonder if the message up there in red had anything to do with it?
While I'm rather happy I didn't sell I can't really claim credit. The number of shares trading daily only barely exceeded the amount I own.
DOH!
I always fall for that stuff.
Probably got a love letter from the SEC.
Wish I would have had the stones to join you.
See? I told you you should have thrown a $1000 dart.
Found it. Eew. Stanks.
Susie,
Thank you for sharing some of the history with me. Thank you also for your kind words.
Regardless of the past this board is for the purpose of discussing stocks. When the topic of discussion drifts away from stocks and toward anything else it's my job to direct those conversations to a more suitable forum. There are plenty of other places on Ihub where this may take place. In this way those who wish to read about stocks are spared the distraction of having to pick through posts of no concern to them.
When members insist on posting about topics other than that for which the board is designed they run the risk that those posts may be deleted.
Therefore, my advice is to make sure one finds a suitable board before engaging in any lengthy discussion here at Ihub.
Thanks again, Susie, for your kind words.
It says so.

So what got you in here in the first place?
lol.
