I can and will wait. Well thought out with factual info. Again thanks for what you add to this board. In fact thanks to everyone here even when we disagree. It's like family here.
Nice buying interest today.
That is probably good to just keep quiet and be pro business and have a diverse work culture. Nuff said.
Insiders own mostly preferred stock and under IPS only the o/s would receive this if I'm understanding. Once they converted they would get this but the interest would stop. Really mute point as it's not goin happen.
It would be nice. Beneficial probably. More eyes? For sure. The cost would be inconsequential to the potential benefit IMO. The thing to remember is most deals are done with stock included with cash and could potential pay off in spades with less dilution. Certainly would be worth $2,5 Mil with the added buying pressure from currently holders and added exposure.
Must be bad news. Always go down on good news. Ruff report will give us an indepth on the last PR and just might very well give answers that show the positively I see.
Wow everyone hates this move yet no one is selling. Monday morning QB's. Gotta love it.
This board has the most knowledgeable people who know SHWZ and have nothing positive to say and only point out their negatives and see no positives really is not being open minded.
Dye and his capital firm have way to much money involved period. Millions upon millions. If you had faith in him before it makes no sense to think he would do anything to hurt his investment
My thoughts in Doc's comment about the $800k for CEO and Dye himself. Just maybe it will be a very slow process filling the Pfesident and Dye's new position will help offset the$900k for the 3yrs.
PS. Follow the money! The questions you have asked are good ones no doubt but certainly trust is a factor. GLTY.
Stand corrected Dye does receive $300k per year total. I do believe he can add a lot of value no longer involved with day to day. I'm still very positive with what he will add. How many options etc. expire worthless this year? Lot more here than meets the eye. Regardless, I totally appreciate your input. GLTY!
Normally bonuses and cash are paid on tangible results not on pps. Had you read the 10k their was no stock bonuses paid last year. Can't argue as many things you posted but we have 19 more dispensaries being added this Q as IPS posted today. My guess is most of these shares were paid for that. However, I do believe $475k and all these shares are a little bit excessive. Also I believe Dye is only getting Cobra paid.
As this whole board was personally handpicked by Dye the logical move was for him to step down. IMO, this is more or less an advisory position in which his expertise and relationships he has formed makes him the perfect choice as respect goes a long way. This gives him time to step away from day to day grind and really the ability to promote his baby. Anyone can say what they want but if you think for a moment the shares Dye Capital owns and controls is walking away you are absolutely wrong.Blast away.
PS. TD is now Schwab and I will be sending more money for cheap shares.
Personally I th8nk it is non-event and surely many will disagree. As noted Dye was planning his heir over a year ago. From my view point he has put in an executive board 2nd to none and processes along with a playbook. I believe we are 8n automatic pilot going forward. With the amount of money Dye Capital invested I hardly doubt this was not only well thought out but a plan for 2 yrs. My question is what exactly is the non-executive position Entail? Any thoughts?
Do we hold a dollar on a closing basis? I'm having doubts and really see no catalyst
Question with 50% more dispensaries in N.M. they are assuming 0% growth what are the possibilities of 10% or more negative growth? Just trying to be real and not a pessimisti.
My lowest was yesterday at $1.03 Like yourself I'm going to add $1-$2k per month. My average is still north of $1.50 but starting come down. Problem being I bought 75k over $$2.00. Like most I believe in management as they have a huge vested interest.
Thx. for your thoughts which are very similar to mine. Obviously this isn't a quick flip as I believe the shake out in N.M. Will happen sooner rather than later as the dispensary count approaching 1,000 dispensaries is not feasible with 2.1 million population.look no further than Co. with 625 dispensaries and 3x the population.
I did buy 1.3k yesterday averaging down at $1.03 I too, will add as I believe at some point once Safe passes the savings from refinancing will immediately impact the bottom line. Also when it does pass 280 on taxes won't be far behind. Unfortunately this could still be years away.
Anyone going to annual meeting? At this point probably not much reason. Looks to be a hurry up wait as both N.M. N CO. are really competitive. Anyone see any reason to add shares?
Nice 30k bid at $1.04. Makes you wonder who is the buyer while someone continues to sell.
Agree. Going to be a bloodbath in N.M.im banking on SHWZ to hold their own with higher Whole sales kicking in. Definitely not a time to buy unless you have atleast 6-12 months. Currentlyartificial intelligence is white hot once again.
Could some explain PIK? I don't really have a crystal clear understanding. I believe the 9% cash is paid and the 4% PIK is paid in additional bonds. What am I missing?
With almost 1,000 dispensaries in N.M. the small underfunded will dye(die) quickly. Margins are going to drop quickly unless totally integrated with grow and manufacturing. I believe we will be somewhat insulated with the primary losers being stand alone dispensaries at the mercy of the large chains that buy at discounts. Probably wrong. Of course imo.
With the count going up the way it did through out the month numbers will probably worse for this month. Hopefully wholesale makes up the difference.
Anyone listen to conference call? Interested on questions asked.
Better than I expected.!
There is always hope. My guess is revenues below $40 Mil. Sure hope I'm wrong but I see lots disturbing. signs. Sales plummeting in Colorada along with so many new dispensaries in N.M
Another loss for TCNNF on 8ncreased revenues while we have a 42k blockade at $1.10
Thanks for the well thought out response. Looking forward to tomorrow's report. Hopefully still cash flow positive
Thanks for the well thought out reply.
What dies NYC have to do with SHWZ?
The question needs to be asked honestly? Is the playbook broken? In N.M. our sales are less than when we bought the first 10 Greenleaf dispensaries. The sales have pretty much went down since N.M. went legal even while adding more dispensaries. Now we have close to 400 more this year. Going legal a year ago in N.M.a year ago and flat to down sales begs for answers. Anyone else 2nd questing the platbook? Whats next?
Clueless. Anyone shed any light what this is for?
It would be nice.but can't get to hopeful. It sure would be nice and helpful.Refince some high interest debt!
For me this is 18-24 months and an investment with no separate trading account. Competition will be fierce with lots of roadkill. I will continue to add as everything happening will make SHWZ stronger.
Total NM sales for April was $46Mil vrs $47.7 for March. Not sure exactly what SHWZ dispensaries did individually but sales went down close to 4% with 1 less day. Now understanding why the last new hire was hired to increase wholesale revenues from this large increase in dispensaries. IMO, lots of red hitting the bottom line for q2. 340 new dispensaries in one month and sales down not going to fly very well. Since this news has been out for 2 days and no one has posted it makes me think some l-termers here are quietly selling and mum is the word.
With NM reporting very soon it will be very interesting and revealing to see revenues reported with all these extra dispensaries for April. With almost 50% more dispensaries than the prior month I would think even with 10% total state sales growth we would be doing great to just maintain March sales reported for SHWZ. Would appreciate any thoughts from anyone on this subject. This does not in any way change my accumulate mode presently for me as I believe the SHWZ playbook is very positive even when a speed bump arises now and then.
My thought was with all the convertibles factered in plus options etc. the total possible O/S was well over 200Mil. With A/S at 250Mil and my expectations of continued aggressive expansion and using cash, notes, and stock it was a reasonable expectation. With that said and a new CFO obviously with a few positive law changes anything can happen over the next 18-24 months. Surely our ace management is much more in the know than my limited knowledge on where this is going. My slogan is"follow the money."
IMO, most will be converted and debt will not be the problem as suggested in the past. Why would you not convert if the pps is much higher than $1.20
This cant be good for the small mom n pop operators. Everybody cant grow it and even less have the marketing skills needed to operate in an enviroment that is quickly becoming hugely competitive. IMO, a lot of operators are going to lose a lot of money and go under quickly. Unfortunately the population will not support this many dispensaries. Colorado has about 6 million while NM has a little over 2 Mil. Very obvious NM dispensary operators will have saturation issues very soon. Im glad were are a verticle operation and not dependent as others will be.
PS I was shocked to be honest about A/S not getting a vote. Obviously Dye is holding his hand close and might have a wild card or two yet to be played.
I used to own SLGWF when Chris Driessen was CEO. Very down to earth and actually was a very good investor relations guy to boot. He was very different than Dye and his team. Was very investor friendly blue jean type guy who was totally involved and got his hands dirty. Problem was he was spread so thin with funds so limited. As far as his role at SHWZ he should be a perfect fit. The guy is very approachable and definitely knows marketing. His contacts and knowledge are top notch and should be very beneficial.
Lol. What's left?
