It's pretty obvious to me we have 2 schools of people here that keep clashing. The traders and the medical guys. Traders are digging/analyzing/dissecting Titan down to the molecule for answers out of frustration in pps - which I get. To me TRXC is a zombie. It's a walking dead product, they are just out in front of Titan right now. To the traders I think it represents a much more clear investment than TITXF, a way to actually make fast(er) money, & feels like it's got a more polished business strategy/direction. The medical guys can more or less brush that off because we just know in our bones that Titan has a product that will set the market on fire and we're just thiiiiiis close. To me Titan addresses most every concern that I've ever heard from surgeons for years and then some. Worst case the IP is purchased for a nice payout, best case we can start to compete with ISRG in the long term. To me its win/win without the stress of how to play these road bumps correctly. The medical guys are also very defensive about Titan because we aren't used to trading and being so financially balls deep into something we are out of control of. I can't say which - if either - is right, we just speak 2 different languages.

Hey diamond - thanks for the tip. I've been looking at contagious's website. Do you know anyone working for them/in the industry that led you to this stock?
Solid way to end the year.
You're probably right. I bought more at $1.16 so I'm still a Belieber (aka a die hard fan boy). I will say that branching out to the other bot stocks has afforded me the opportunity to keep buying Titan to lower my avg. and ease my pain. Still scary but I suffer in silence. I'm checking out dudes - catch yall in 2015. Good luck to all you Beliebers out there
The bubble has to pop soon right?
It's really sad that so many guys on the Titan forum are so negative about anything other than their baby. This has literally 100% balanced out my TITXF losses. Hopefully the 2 start working together soon, hell of a ride up.
I've been duped for an 80% ROI...doh! In all seriousness, interesting feedback & I'm personally open to all points of view on any investment and I'd love to privately hear your thoughts on the company. What exactly are you getting email about? Are you a surgeon? Anesthetist? PA? Nurse? CST? What are you personally being solicited for?? How did they get your contact info??
If any surgeon, anesthetist, PA, rep, RN, CST, etc. has a relationship with a neurosurgeon who performs/uses the MR environment I'd love to hear any thoughts on the company's fully developed robot, privately or publicly, on IMRS forum. Sorry to Shanghai the thread about another ship, guys. Just want to share what I have experienced with a fellow robotic company that shares a somewhat similar track record with us here at TITXF. If I could go back and tell you to get into Titan @ 40¢, I would have.
Sorry guys, I'll shut up about another stock on the TITXF board but IMRIS is a brother Canadian company on the TSX. Have been dumping a boat load of cash into the robot over the last couple of years and recently moved headquarters to Minneapolis, MN in anticipation of much growth. I think they're ready to explode. I look forward to the company of a few of you over on that board. They are not as obsessive compulsive as we are over here. Now back to Titan..
You are correct - their financials are not hot right now, but I do know reps that work with these guys. Their MRI robot is supposed to be a game changer in that specialty
IMRS is their ticker symbol...
If you cats want another chance to get into a robot stock low, check out IMRS. This is the first robotic platform compatible with MRI, just about to submit to FDA. You're welcome!
Dak - I may have missed this if it was drawn out earlier, but did you say they are mentioning SPORT by name or are they more or less describing what SPORT will be when they ask you to compare/contrast?
Lol. I'm loving all these shots at Hargrove's accent. Poor guy
A part of me wants a buy out so it takes the decisions out of my hands and with it the potential regret I would have of selling at the wrong time. The other part wants to ride this horse out and see where we end up win, lose or draw. No right answer I guess, just gotta keep feeding the beast.
Agreed
I think keeping them in steep angles like that would def effect blood flow. Anesthesiologists can give input on that, either way I'm sure these things have been worked out well before now and we aren't the first to bring them up. ISRG doesn't half ass much of anything. I'm not sure this bed is required for da Vinci, just carries added benefits for robotic/laparoscopic and ISRG has the only robot, therefore only ISRG. He specifically said they will move together via wireless communication. Surely that's proprietary? I'll try to get more detail out of the Dr. tomorrow about what exactly it could do.
They make several devices to support a patient in those positions. Another Google search I found 3 or 4.
Been digging more on trumpf, looks like the were bought by hill-rom (HRC) recently. This is a German made US product. Def selling in the states. My concern is how much of a game changer being able to reposition in surgery is for robotic surgery? If any?
I just spoke with a surgeon that attended MEDICA, the largest med device expo in the world, November 12-15 in Düsseldorf, Germany. He said the hit of the show was a company called TRUMPF Medical - they have partnered w ISRG to make a surgical table that will move in parallel with the Xi robot intraoperatively. That's some pretty serious technology. Any docs heard of this yet from your Intuitive reps?
It's going to take a Boeing engine strapped to this stock to make it rise. What a grinder
Either 1) They are the most incompetent team of people ever to assemble (which I don't believe is true), or 2) They truly know they have nothing to worry about, this is just a small bump in the road, and info is being kept at bay for good reason.
Hargrove all but said this to me if you go back and look at my posts after the meeting. If I had taken his words any more literally he straight up told me this was coming. I think we all assumed the best case scenario, but it was much bigger. I'll just keep believing in door #2 even though it is very hard when things are so bad.
At least we have each other :-/ This board is therapy for me. [Group hug]
Hello, my name is Duke Silver, and I'm a Titanholic.
When I look at my portfolio I'm reminded of the scene in Vegas Vacation when the blackjack dealer says "here's an idea: Why don't you give me half the money your were gonna to bet, then we'll go out back, I'll kick you in the nuts, and we'll call it a day"
This is the vid from the MedAssets show. Nice find
This stock has been a total grind to follow. Cannot wait until some PR of substance is released. I can't believe the announcing of "days away" from FDA submission didn't do anything for pps
Nice find
What's the latest on SYMBIS? Anyone know where we stand with FDA?
I just jumped in heavy @ $.27. No where but up IMO. This board is quiet as a church mouse. Prob a lot of upset owners/employees??
This was what I had originally read from Hargrove. "Still getting market feedback" "want the product to finish baking first" "don't want to rush a Gen 1 just to turn around and work on Gen 2". I wasn't surprised to read this, but it still stings.
Maybe this is why they kept the Dallas meeting under raps.
Are you in med device? I've just become familiar with the company. Do we know what's going on with the pps? I'm familiar w the company and just got in @ .24. Surely things only go up from here
Merger - SPORT & SPORT lite
Anyone still following this company here?
IMO it's safe to say Titan doesn't care about any of us or what we say or how much we talk about it here anymore - if they ever did- once they got financing. IMO all the faces we see are just resumes to keep out front to put face out there. IMO everything going on from here on out happens quietly and behind the scenes. Hargrove was probably told to shut up from here on out, it's all being taken care of. If they don't release anything there's a reason. If they do there's a reason. No nibbles and nuggets to drive up price just for the sake of driving up price. Everyone we know by name is now a pawn....IMO. And when it goes, it goes fast and hard.
*my gut...wish I had a guy in there
You're not wrong - doesn't look the most professional when hiring that way. If she had a different last name I would still be impressed with her background & demeanor. IMO - to a certain extent I think a lot of these front line people are not necessarily steering this. My guy keeps leaning J&J
Wasn't fluffy, bubbly or showy. Very matter of fact, straight talking business woman - which in my experience are tough nuts. Impressive resumé - college athlete, heavy business & high level medical positions, still unmarried...she's playing for keeps. IMO, she's legit.
We had the same read
I hope I'm wrong, but I think you're right
Does ISRG even offer trade ins? I don't think they do? Why would they?
