CBD in the EU
https://valori.it/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/2019-CBD-REPORT-.pdf
Good read. Found this interesting...
"At regulatory level, two options are available in the EU: firstly, the inclusion of CBD products in the Community list of permissible health
claims of the European Commission can be requested (EU Register of nutrition and health claims made on food). Secondly, there is the option of registering the relevant CBD product as a traditional herbal medicine (such as ginkgo), so that pharmacological effects can also be communicated"
Right on! :)
I'm all for VATE products going nationwide and my butt retired early and laying on a remote beach somewhere.
I saw that situation differently - small steps.
Those retailers are keeping the CBD products in select locations, carrying one or two brands and limited to topical cream and lotion.
I do agree that retail chains will probably led the way and commit to more CBD products on the shelf as time and regulations permits in the near future,
Hope they open their doors to Elev8's RTD coffee and teas!
I really don't see big corporations committing heavily into CBD at the onset, if/when CBD is approved for consumption in food.
CBD is still in it's infancy and there's probably not as much research out there for a corporation to comfortably make decisions to invest too deep into this sector at this point in time.
I think corporations will ease their way into the sector by forming partnerships... buying shares/percentage of CBD companies at first.
When more studies/research becomes available and CBD is more widely accepted, then you will see corporations commit to buying out or investing heavy into the sector.
I don't see this is not a bad thing. It gives the CBD companies time to build their brand and raise it's value. If the companies succeeds in doing this, long investors would benefit greatly.
Personally, I’m not too concerned with Coke or Pepsi.
Traditionally, they're not as quick to market with new products as some may believe. It took Pepsi over a decade to get their Propel water into national markets. Both, Coke and Pepsi, have been experimenting with a coffee cola beverages for decades to no success.
Industry leading companies in the food and beverage sectors go through many rounds of R&D and market testing (panel tests, small market test, etc.) Data is collected and analyzed every round the product is tested. This process is repeated frequently, before a commitment is made to introduce the product.
Maybe they can find a way to fast track a product out to market due to the "mania" of CBD/Hemp. But, historically speaking, they haven’t and I don’t see the processes in place deviating much from SOP.
It would be reckless for them to jump into market with an untested or fully tested product and risk product failure. Especially, with something as high profile as CBD. It would be disastrous and difficult to recover from because of the success and popularity of their brand,
This sector is slowing down in anticipation for regulatory guidance. If Vate use this time wisely to streamline production, logistics and marketing... it’s possible that one of Coke or Pepsi would be a partner rather that a competitor.
That would be huge. Revenues from processing hemp alone could take us to NASDAQ.
The hemp industry is just getting started and many are jumping in as growers - think the same happened with cannabis. Could get into a situation where there may be too many farmers and not enough processors.
smart businessmen...
In 2018, Shi Farms expanded to NY state. They bought a 2 acre farm in Orange county NY and enrolled in the state's pilot program and received grants for their research work - https://esd.ny.gov/industrial-hemp
A year later, Shi took this state funded knowledge and partnered with Canbiola to start up a hemp empire in the empire state.

Sorry. Actually, I don't know which oil the medical industry will focus on. I'm not sure if researchers and medical professionals are so closed minded to not explore the use of both in different situation or applications.
Both, full spectrum and isolates has been shown to be promising from what I've read.
I guess time will tell... if the run-of-the-mill will be the first to run out the gates.
Good read on what hemp businesses and advocates want to see as they wait on federal regulations

IMO - makes sense for Feds to lead with isolates... the risk of too many impurities, toxins and contaminates can be introduced into the hemp and extracted into the CBD oil from bad soil, fertilization and pesticides

no SKIPPY in this product
Agreed, Sleek. Wouldn't be surprised to see Turetsky added to CANB's advisory board.
No guarantees... future seems bright for Canbiola, could be a monster in the making.
Listening to Steve talk about CBD and Hemp, can't be more happy that CANB is partnered with him and SHI Farms.
Hemp, goes beyond just the oil extracted. The entire plant has value to many other industries... which can turn into a possible future revenue stream for CANB's Hemp Depot channel.
Strongly recommend a listen to this podcast...

I think this month Canbiola was invited to attend a wounded warrior conference with Aetna and JnJ. Anyone know if this event took place yet?
Canbiola & Northwell... event took place this past Sunday. Maybe their booths were next to each other.

Monster Bev was where we're currently at in 2001. '03-'04, they were at where Kona is presently at and where I believe we are heading. '05, they hit $$'s and never looked back.
Not saying these companies and their situations are the same, just think there an opportunity here to strike lightning.
I'm good with my investment in VATE and don't mind giving RM a few years to turn an idea into a company.
Yes, I'm not disputing that. Although, that was a forward looking statement, RM shouldn't have made that statement. I too would like more clarity as too what happened and hopefully he learns from this.
I was just stating that my opinion is that I think unexpected production delays may be the cause of the short falling in revenues. Unexpected production delays may also explain why distributors are unannounced as VATE may not have had inventory to execute all contracts in place.
But, I feel RM is heading in the right direction and the future looks bright.
GLTA
IMO... another factor could be, although VATE launched products in May and June, I think it also took some time to get the products to the distributors. Some of the "discovered" distributors (I believe), did not or still may not have received the products when the board uncovered these new and unannounced distributors. I know there were slight delays with my and some other's online orders.
In time, I think the production and logistics will work itself out and assumptions on projected sales/revenue numbers would fall more inline to expectations.
VATE has real products and solid financials. It's like a toddler just learning to walk. Sure, she looks clumsy and you're worried in the beginning. But still, you can't help but smile at what the future holds.

wow...what's going on here???
WOW!!!! Buckle up... Looks like it's going much higher... L2 very thin.
Guess many shares really are locked up and shorties are in trouble. Glad to be in this..GLTA!
wow... things are happening faster than I thought. No surprise, Zacharin did mention in the video multiple deals on the table and LOIs in the works.
Blessed Bean Coffee, LLC - 250 National Place #162, Longwood, Florida 32750
Kona Gold LLC, 746 North Dr STE A, Melbourne, FL 32934
just a bit over an hour drive from each other...
Don’t underestimate VATEs new partnership with Chex Finer Foods.
Aside from distribution and logistics, I think their sister company SCL Foods can help Elev8 with building and incubating their brand, in-store execution and merchandising, vendor and supplier management, provide business reporting and insights to promote growth, go to market and speed to market strategies.
Jeremy Isenberg, President, Chex Finer Foods
focused in the northeast. serving 750 retailers
would be great if they can launch RTD in time for spring break
Thanks!
I’m surprised we haven’t moved up.
I love the news on the convergence of services – marketing and sales possibly on 1 app.
Another benefit and potentially additional revenue source is the marketing and sales data captured.
i.e. What product was offered, when and where it was bought/sold. At what price point.. I think all of this can be captured off the app, if designed so
This will be very valuable once this industry further develops and more competition is present. IMO
