Agreed on eminent news. Watt being confirmed is going to cause some volatility, to be sure.

But I think it will take a public statement from the newly appointed (if it happens) leader of the FHFA, that screams positivity , and long relations in tandem with F n F.

If Watt announces that he is undecided, or in agreement with the president's wind down (unless Obama has changed his mind) tactic.

Or,if we hear the same old rhetoric out of Watt that we've been hearing from every other official. We have some downward consolidation to worry about.

Either way, we will have at least some answers today or tomorrow.

LoL :) 25k isn't entirely necessary to trade frequently.

A margin account with Scottrade lets you trade multiple times a week, and even immediately following a trade. You have to be extremely careful, however, or you will crash and burn fast.

It allows you to dodge the 3-day wait rule, though. Which comes in handy when big news hits and you just traded hours prior.

Again, not recommended. There are probably much safer ways to get up to 25k

Berkowitz, Mel Watt, Jack Reed, Harry Reid, C/W bill destroyed, lawsuit updates... etc

Retrace to 1.25-1.31 then hopefully a larger volume push past 1.38-1.40

Concerning the Berkowitz speech if you watched the L2, or just the buy/sell orders. You could see obvious movement based off his speech strength/ lack of strength. With that said, the volume was garbage, and the end of his speech catalyzed another consolidation day.
