Call Mike Banyas, he's the examiner in Florida and inform him what those dirtbags are attempting...
The more that call, the better...
His number 561-837-5054

We still have a prayer of having MAMG be worth something? That sure would be a treat.
Damn, I hope Megas has this all well-planned out, with his strategies held tight, for lots of surprise attacks against shorty. It's time to see him demonstrate some of that knowledge base from his Wharton MBA!
Yeah, we were f**ked over with GVRP/MAMG. Still pisses me off to see those worthless MAMG shares that were illegally R/S sitting there useless in my account, unlikely to be worth squat ever again.
OHBULL... just thinking...
is it possible that BCIT's shorts would have to be fully covered, if Megas wanted BCIT to leave the U.S. and go to another country's stock exchange?

BCIT to look like DEXTQ and RCAU soon?
I thought of DEXTQ as a BCIT comparison case today...
99.88% owned by a single shareholder. Way oversold. They caught up on all their filings yesterday and today. If a R/M comes, too, perhaps this will show us what BCIT could do, too? Float 29000, traded 2.6 million today? What's BCIT float, and how short is shorty? Hmmm... worth watching.
DEXTQ board is http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=8812
I posted my letter from Scottrade received this past weekend... http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=18243841 . Almost identical to Wyebelly2's.
I do like "posthaste". Nice ring to it, plus it implies quick forward motion...
http://www.bartleby.com/62/53/P1155300.html
posthaste
ADVERB: In a rapid way: apace, fast, quick, quickly. Informal : flat out, hell-for-leather, lickety-split, pronto. Idioms: full tilt, in a flash, in nothing flat, like a bat out of hell, like a blue streak, like a flash, like a house on fire, like a shot, like a streak, like greased lightning, like the wind, like wildfire. See FAST.
Love it.. "hell-for-leather" LOL
I nominate "posthaste". Anyone second it?
You're too quick on the draw, Art. Nice.
No, Art, not that word...
"SOON"! Gotta find a new one to use...
let's look at the second definition of the word "shortly" at http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/thesaurus?book=Thesaurus&va=shortly+ :
2 at or within a short time <the test will begin shortly, so don't go too far away to find a bathroom>
Synonyms anon, momentarily, presently, soon
Related Words directly, forthwith, immediately, instantly, now, promptly, pronto, right away, right now, straightaway
Phrases by and by
How about "forthwith" or "pronto"? "Straightway" has a nice ring to it.
Yeah, Art, I noticed that too. They did get the bcitcorporate@yahoo.com correct in Wyebelly's letter, however. My compliance examiner looked over the shoulder of Wyebelly's, but didn't get the same grade as his. Gotta go back and check for spelling answers, dontcha know. LOL.
Looking forward to a happy resolution of the BCIT impasse... hopefully, uh, what's a good synonym for that dreaded word, "soon"!
Here's my Scottrade letter dated 3/21/07...
but from a different Compliance Examiner. Looks like they might have been peeking over each other's shoulder, LOL.
Wyebelly, my BCIT shares are with Scottrade...
and I'm not sure I understand what you're asking me and other Scottraders to do. I got a similar letter to yours over the weekend... I will scan it tomorrow, when I have a few minutes, and post it here. So, please explain further.
Still keeping the faith...
been waiting so long, another couple of weeks wait will just be par for the course.
GLTA BCIT Longs!
I just watched the Bloomberg report just now. Thank you for sharing it, ruby.
Interesting stuff, OHBULL. Thx. eom
OT: Rush tour dates rumored to be announced Monday or Tuesday...
Looking forward to the 10-K...
and how Scottrade will react. Have a great wknd all!
Afternoon, OHBULL...
I've been looking at woogie's trading timeline post http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=9890499 and wondering about the changeovers from real shares to counterfeit shares, then counterfeit to air shares. Counterfeit shares were first dumped on 4/29/05, so I guess if one had bought before that date, they ideally should have "real" shares? I suppose the counterfeit to air share changeover timeframe might have been somewhere between the 1/2 billion to billion shares traded window... 7/14/05 to 7/26/05. Not that this really will mean much, I suppose, in the long-run, but when the discussion ensued about who gets shares credited to their accounts first, there were thoughts that the date purchased had some bearing, hence my thinking about it. I'll go back to lurking and twiddling those thumbs, awaiting good news... hopefully, soon.
Looking forward to imsoweary's TM email...
as we all sit waiting patiently, twiddling our thumbs...
an·tic·i·pa·tion
http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/anticipation
Pronunciation: (")an-"ti-s&-'pA-sh&n
Function: noun
1 a : a prior action that takes into account or forestalls a later action b : the act of looking forward; especially : pleasurable expectation
2 : the use of money before it is available
3 a : visualization of a future event or state b : an object or form that anticipates a later type
I had hoped to find a photo with ketchup pouring to represent that anticipation, and in my Google searching, I kept on finding references to this site: http://www.icogitate.com/~ergosum/recipes/ketchup.htm , which included these figures, LOL...
Looking forward to TM's resolution to our situation, with great an·tic·i·pa·tion

ideadirect, please read my post again, I did not say that small brokers go first in exchange, I stated that those with a smaller short would go first, and only if below a pre-determined threshold percentage, big diffrence. Etrade may say only shorted 30% of thier legally purchased shares, buy atrurd may have shorted 1200% well and above the shares they hold. thats why the dtcc may have something in store special for brokers who flat out ,blatently and severely shorted bcit.
ATURD (if they are guilty) did it for one reason and one reason only. Some people are under the assumption that Aturd and other brokers are stupid. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The use complex mathematical models to figure out which stocks to short. In BCIT's case, they betted that Megas would give up, and never catch up on the filings, or would simply run out of money. So some one in Aturd gave the ok to ride the wave and sell heavily into the run shares that they did not have. Someone else in Aturd (probably in legal) monitored the situation, and when they found out that they were severly short (the Sell-only) order went out "to protect shareholders" (lol) which effectively killed the run. tey then proceeded to drive the price down to .0010 (where poor woogie sold...lol) after the trading suspension to set up a buy back at lower levels. ( still making a profit by the way). However thier worst nightmare was Legacy controlling the bid at .15, thats when someone at Aturd picked up the phone and screamed to the dtcc.. and here we stand.
all this is MY OPINION AND MY OPINION ONLY

idea, one more thing you stated that " There is no way of knowing who actually sharted bcit", this is not entirely correct. Megas/ dtcc knows to the share how many shorted shares there are.You see, a beautiful thing happened when BCIT . became fully reporting and the otcbb moved to the Nasdaq.Short intrest reporting rules are now in effect. Megas has the ONO nad NOBO lists. The brokers know how many shares are out there. They can simply add up all thier accounts with BCIT shares in them.my point is there are many tools with which to accurately derive the short.THE SHORT IS KNOWN.WHO DID IT ,AND WHO IS HOLDING THE "HOT" POTATO. you see with all trading stopped, these are no shares waiting to settle, no borrowing or trading, just the hard numbers of what are in clients accounts. The dtcc knows which brokers hold the shorts, because they cleared the trades so all is known (and yes even though aturd uses its own internal clearing, its still reported).what we will see is, which brokers will be allowed to settel behingd the scenes, and which ones will be made examples of. remember the dtcc has to foot the intial bill, and they are not happy about it, the will surely punish brokers who deliberately abused the system, and make an example of them, especially in the light of recent turmoil in the market, sec, enron, nss etc.
all in my opinion of course, treat it as such

I, too, have my BCIT trapped by Scottrade...
they still haven't returned a couple of emails I sent yesterday and today regarding the CUSIP change. I copied the text of Art's E-Trade responses, so they know that others are getting their shares. It will be interesting to see how they treat us.
SPEA O/S was 4,283,061 when it skyrocketed...
I believe someone had asked what the O/S of SPEA was at that fateful time...
from http://www.shellstockreview.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.266.12.html :
SPEA question before it went big
Does anybody know what the a/s and o/s was of that shell before it went up big.
I like to know cause maybe it will help pick new ones. Cause I don't think they ever did a reverse split while it was running up to $30.
Thanks

Hello fellow longs...
Just dropping in to say hi. Hopefully we'll have some positive news at some point soon.
Take care. GLTA.
OT: Oh yeah... for you Rush fans, get ready... new album this spring, and tour this summer!
My email response from Scottrade today...
Dear XXXX:
Thank you for your email. Once Global Lock is lifted you may submit a request for an account transfer. If we are able to comply with the request at that time we will most certainly do so. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you for your business,
XXXX X.
Scottrade Inc.

I replied asking when will I know that this supposed "Global Lock" has been "lifted". Will see what sort of response I'll get to that one.
I jumped the gun and emailed Scottrade already. Someone will see it when they check email at 9am, so not too far off, I suppose.
GLTA BCIT LONGS!
Welcome back OHBULL. Looks like you survived well.
Nice seeing you over here, mainuh. Enjoying your continued optimism. Hoping for a great 2007, too.
Thanks, Art. Looking forward to good things. eom

Spoke to BCIT's transfer agent..
yesterday after the market close because I wanted to ask some questions around whether or not to pull certs..She told me I could have gotten certs but no more because as of tomorrow(today)..she would no longer be the transfer agent..She wouldn't tell me who the new TA is but rather gave me BCIT's number to call in the USA...
anyone else find this a little interesting?
Maybe Pamela Thompson? LOL eom
