I've noticed that GR8 seems to "accidentally" put commas in the wrong place or misspell words (I.e. million vs. billion) fairly often, always to the benefit of the company. I guess hoping no one will notice.
I agree. For me, whatever happens to these jokers and whatever settlement CMGO may receive is just icing on the cake at this point. The real important thing is that XA is now free of these guys and they can get down to the business of running the company in a profitable manner. I think that should make us all excited.
I was probably a little (OK, a lot) hard on Glenn recently so for that i apologize. I'm behind him 100% on this and I like where this company is headed.
I totally missed the part about the convertibles. Well, that was fun while it lasted....brutal!
What a clusterf*ck! So was that Burkhardt or Devlin that left and was trying to take clients? I'm assuming Devlin based upon his abrupt resignation.
I can't wait to read it.
Another day without news I see. This better be worth the wait.
I don't think there are any heads to roll currently at XA, unless I missed news of them hiring someone, which is entirely possible. So I'll put my money on someone at GG - probably whoever told him to expect 25,000 new members right off the bat.
Perhaps if Glenn held himself to the same standard of production and performance as apparently he has held other people at GG/XA, we would be getting somewhere. But, either he is unable or unwilling to pound the pavement and get things moving. It may be time for him to look himself in the mirror and decide if he got in over his head on this one - it appears he did.
I'm hopeful most people currently holding CMGO have done their due diligence and understand this is going to be an ugly 10-Q. There's going to be no revenue from GG, only the expenses, and of course XA hasn't done anything to date so there won't be anything to report there. Hopefully all this is factored into the current PPS but I suspect we'll see some dumping here shortly (not to mention for Christmas and tax reasons that Hyr mentioned in a previous post).
I agree 100%! I remember back in the day when we were told this management was going to be much more transparent and open with the shareholders than the previous management was. So far, that's not been the case - that's just one more reason to be disappointed in this stock!
What a complete and utter disaster.
I'll say this - 99% of the time, when auditors are given a deadline, they'll work around the clock in order to meet that deadline (otherwise, if they don't, it looks bad to future clients). That's one reason why being an auditor sucks. Almost all the delays are due to the client's lack of organization, willingness to get it done, etc. I'm sure that's the case here - Ed just isn't on the ball. But I think that's something we all know already. So we wait...
Well, as others have told you several times already, pretty much everyone on this board has been here for 2+ years and, as a result, were able to buy shares very cheap when they were going for under $0.01. As a result, most of our portfolios are now up over 100% since that time so if you're looking for loser stocks, this isn't one of them. Go find some other boards to try to help.
I can't wait until the calendar flips and we see what November brings because October has been probably the most disappointing month for this stock that we've had in a long time.
Somebody check my math on this. Right now, Good Gaming has just under 1,000 people signed up on their site. The $10k tournament is paying out to 300 people. So assuming all 1,000 people are playing, which we know not all of them will, that tells me one would have better than a 1 in 3 chance of winning something. I have no idea what Hearthstone is or how you play it, but those odds are tempting enough to make me want to sign up and just see what happens!
Pretty good article here with Sam.

I'm a little confused as to what we should be complaining to FINRA about and what we think they will do about it. From what I can tell, what we have here is a simple lack of demand issue. No one knows about CMGO so any type of selling is going to look bad. If we had decent demand, a 100k or 200k wall would be nothing. But we have no buyers currently coming into the stock to take them out. I'm not a real experienced trader so maybe I'm missing something but I think if there was any kind of volume, we wouldn't be where we are today, IMO.
Nothing a little XA news can't fix! How's that sniffer of yours working? Hopefully MW is right and we hear something soon.
I assumed he meant he had a sell order in at 26 but couldn't get a fill do he had to hit the bid at 21 so that he could cash out. But maybe I misunderstood.
You're right, I was thinking of my other stock. It felt like the trips when we were down there, though! Thanks for that correction.
Most of us are up at least 100%, if not more, from when this used to be in the trips. So we're good here - there's lots of other plays that could use your guidance more than us, I'm sure.
I have no idea, I'm just trying to help you by telling you what I can see. Your best bet would be to contact the IHub Admin and ask them why they removed it - maybe they misinterpreted at as a personal attack.
All our wives and/or girlfriends look like that because we own CMGO. Chicks love CMGO. It just comes with the territory.
Hey, whatever gets you to CMGO! While you're here, take a look around.... :)
I guess I can kind of see it. Perhaps the more conservative dress in the second photo is what is throwing me off.
Really?! I thought the other one was Asian or something. Don't get me wrong, I still wouldn't kick either one of them out of bed.
I liked the other one better.
These are too big of blocks to be your average retail investors dumping. It has to be some convertible notes coming home to roost.
Does anyone know what any of the popular e-gaming web sites are? I'd like to check them out and see if they have any advertising up for the tournament on Sunday.

It appears GG's Twitter feed is starting to heat up in preparation for next week!
The stock market is the equity market. I don't think we'll be off.
I just hope the new big guns are of a higher caliber than the previous hires at XA. See what I did there?
Dude - relax. The web site hasn't even been up for a week. It's way too early to be making any kind of judgement on whether the site is going to be a success or not.
I've been wondering about that as well. My only assumption is that just as they had a "soft opening" this last weekend to see how the site would perform, maybe they are having the same kind of soft opening for this tournament to see how that goes. Otherwise, I wouldn't think they would wait to advertise until the week of if they wanted a whole lot of people to compete. If they are expecting a ton of people to compete, then I'm not sure one week of advertising will be enough. But we'll see what the turnout is to see whether I'm right or not. I'm curious on the amount of the cash prize as well.
I agree it's cheap, but I don't think there's anyone around right now that would hit the ask with a 20% spread between it and the bid. If the bids would tighten up, then I think we'd see more action. But if I had any dry powder left, which I don't, that would be enough to scare me away, knowing that one little bidwhack would take us down 20%.
It seems to me it's just a waiting game until we get more money coming in from bigger investors - some news on XA would be helpful IMO as we've gone most of the year without any news on that front.
I tend to agree with you. Although I will say that I used to get really frustrated when the price would get knocked down to a ridiculously low level (that level was relative - today I would say less than $0.02). But some time ago, I finally came to the realization that none of us here have the wherewithal (at least, IMO, we don't) to really make the stock move. That's going to have to come from outside investors, which I gather we're still at least a couple weeks away, if not more, from that attention getting to us. I'm hopeful once that occurs, the price will really take off. But until that point comes, I say if you can get 'em cheap, take 'em!
I'm assuming he meant "downward spiral" and "disappointing day" but the auto correct must have kicked in. I picked up 85k more shares at 24 today to round out my next 100k of shares so I'm a happy camper!
Now I'm happy again :)
