I don't think mammoview is a failure, I think there is a problem with the sales effort.
I still feel that Europe is a different market. I wouldn't underestimate it at this point.
Why do you refer to the Mammoview as failed? Is there evidence that it doesn't actually work or are you suggesting that because sales are low, it must be a failure?
I don't think you can speculate what the European market will purchase. There are many things from various industries that sell big in Europe but sell very little in the US. It happens with cars, food, clothing, even recreational vehicles. We won't know until they get there.
Maybe SNDY's problem is their sales force. I hope Expert Resources will be able to get them going in Europe.
One of these days, one of these days - pow, right to the moon.
You go SDVI!!!
Thanks Marilynt. I appreciate your insight. Now I hope that what you've heard will happen. Until then, good luck and Happy New Year!
Thanks everyone for the response. I was hoping it was just to drive SP down. It's effective. I wish I had more time to go on the positive offensive, but I can't research it enough to effectively counteract the same negative mantra that a couple of people repeat. I don't need the SP to go up much to make a little, but anyone reading the posts would think that the company is lucky to be in business. Share price will never go up with that feeling.
Marilynt (and others), I follow the SNDY board everyday. Since this is the site for dumb questions, I will ask why do these guys bash so much? I'm just trying to understand the game here so I can play it better. Are they just mad that they lost money on a pinky stock and are holding a grudge? Are they truly looking out for the new investor (doubt it)? Are they bashing to get the SP down so they can buy greater volumes? They must be shareholders because who has the time or energy to stick around for months and months and months bashing the stock without skin in the game? I understand paid pumpers, but is there such a thing as paid bashers and if so, why?
By the way, I appreciate the positive comments on the SNDY board. Otherwise, its too frustrating to read.
Sure, maybe it will be news about a dividend. Hahaha
Wow, the volume is off today - compared to yesterday anyway. Hope everything is OK at SDVI.
By the way, I'm not a big time investor. I'm more playing devil's advocate.
I think with a reverse split, only the outstanding shares are effected. Not positive. Plus, if there were a RS of 1:2000, the share price would be about $4.60, so the market cap doesn't change - immediately.
But all this brings up a good question. What is a realistic price for this company? Assuming the CE mark happens and there is a m/a on the table, how much is the company really worth? Forget number of shares and pps for a moment. Is the company, with it's great technology, worth $50mil, $100mil? Go crazy and say $200mil. If that were the case, the pps would be about $0.24 per share (roughly). I don't see it. The technology is good, but that's all that someone is buying. There's no good will and the current account list must be small based on sales numbers.
In my opinion, a RS now with a pps drop to follow might not be so bad. I know no one wants to hear this, but the company would not get sold for $950,000,000. With a RS of 1:2000, I end up with 1/2000 of my current holdings. The price drops and I can add more at a lower price. Then we would hope the buyout pays more than $4.60 per share, or a realistic amount for the business, such as $40/share (times 475,000 = $20mil). It's the only way the little share holders like me could pick up more shares and really make out in a buy out. Of course, this scenario works for me, but not everyone, which is why it is my opinion only.
Always the optimist. I love it.
I agree. I don't think it will go any lower. Nothing but up from here.
Are we getting mooned, or is it the Full Monty?
Power hour! Giddy up. To the moon, baby - twice. Lol
Thanks Slaz. I think my confusion comes from Verticalmojo's post that said most of their products are FDA approved and have the CE mark. Obviously not the cast then. Maybe Verticalmojo can clarify what he means.
I'm confused. I keep hearing about when CE mark is attained, how much better things will be for the company and the potential of a partner or buyout. I also understand that to get the CE mark, they have to be working with a company or distributor in Europe. If most products have the CE mark already, shouldn't we have already had the pps increase, the partner in Europe, the merger and/or the buyout? What is so special about this particular CE mark that we are all waiting with baited breath for?
Also, if they received a CE mark on other products already, they should have the experience to move through this process much quicker. I understand the cost of it all has slowed things down a bit, but if Hulk is right , 2.5 to 3 years is a long time, especially with experience in the process. My last question is if they received the CE mark on other products, they worked with someone, if other than the current group Expert Resources and TUV/SUD (sorry if my names are wrong, not sure how to go back to check), why switch? I would think two companies that have had a successful run together would stay together.
I've been long on SNDY for over a year and still see potential, but I hate to pin hopes onto something that in the end is insignificant. We've done this every time we hear that sales have gone up or some other positive news is coming, and then nothing happens. Just my thoughts
Come on everyone! Let's take out these 2s. There's only 182 million left. Going back to 4 today. LMAO
Though the moon would be nice, I just want it to get to a price that will actually register on my Fidelity account. Does anyone have Fidelity and does it show up with actual numbers on the account balances page? My overview only shows N/A, so I can't see a calculated gain or loss (not that I really want to see that right now). I can get info, but only after I drill down a page.
Mart, the board stays pretty quiet when there's nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work. I think we're in a lull between bad vibes because of the past and the bright future. Please don't keep us waiting too long for more good news.
That is a fair statement, but only in the context of harping. There are not equal amounts of pro comments vs. con comments. But I'm not opposed to hearing so much of the pros because if that will help boost the stock, then that's a good thing.
I think most people would agree that factual posting is the most informative posting. I guess when we run out of facts to post, we have to harp on everything else. I understand that history tends to repeat, but what other evidence suggests that a RS will happen? And that's not a wise guy question, I really don't know.
J4P, I've been in this stock for just about a year and read all of the good, the bad and the ugly posts. I tend to agree with all of your last post. Much too elaborate to be a scam. We all own shares that we want to have increase in value. No sense bashing the ones trying to get us there. Have things gone smoothly, they never do. This is a sub penny stock for a reason and it will take some doing to get the PPS up to a relatively respectable level. We have no idea what's been going on behind the scenes for the last year or so - and granted we should have had some news, but it is what it is. I have faith that Mart is doing his best to get these devices back to signature status.
I'm sticking with my investment philosophy on this one - "Keep your fingers crossed."
Can Mart buy shares on the open market? Would that be insider trading, especially if news is coming? I thought it could be payment of some sort for Ken, since he has done work for free. A $12,000 investment by the company.
Someone bought them.
