I bought another 100 shares this morning
@ $18.18 thinking I got a bargain. OOPS!
A lot of small trades this morning.
Looks like I'll be buying more today.
That must mean we're going to make a lot of money.
Maybe not!
If they do, it must be something GOOD!
I'm holding out for long term capital gains.
I can wait all year if I have to.
I've been buying since Dec. 2019.
My last buys were at $33.00 and $32.00.
I'll buy more I get the chance. I have
a buy order in now for $30.00, but I
don't think it will fill anymore. You
could say my economic future is dependent
on the results of WKHS.
You'll see plenty of spunk when
they get the USPS contract.
You're not alone. But, I think
persistence will pay off big for us.
It looks like $31.23 will be the low for the day
and hopefully for the year.
I bought more at $33.00 and $32.00.
$30.00 might be the bottom.
I guess I'll have to change my
name to Job!
If patience is a virtue,
then I have lots of virtue.
Price lower and volume lower---
Nothing to worry about.
I am patiently waiting for that.
It will take more than what they're
doing to shake my shares loose.
If they're trying to get me to sell my shares,
it ain't gonna work 'til at least $45.00.
I just put a bid order to buy
100 shares at a limit of $37.60.
We'll see what happens.
High short interest can be very useful
for a company expecting good news if it actually
gets that good news.
Good observation! Sometimes the noon
hour works the same way. I think anytime
you can buy before the USPS announcement,
will be a winner.
I did that this morning.
I need clarification.
In that range of 0-$40,00 for long term
capital gains does that include other income?
I'm new at this "making money" stuff.
I don' think they'll be able to make
it retroactive if they do make changes.
Do I have this right?
Long term capital gains--
0-$40,00 ---- 0%
40,001-441.45 ---15%
short term capital gains
0-$9,875----10%
$9.876-$40,125----12%
You sound just like me. My biggest problem
is that I'm gonna have a heck of a lot of
taxes to pay next year.
I'm also in BLNK. Someone has to
recharge all those EV's.
No margin for me. Cash only!
I also have shares in RIDE. WKHS has a
10% stake in RIDE.
This is the best stock I have ever owned.
I have a large core position and some
trading shares. My core shares are for
long term capital gains and my trading
shares are for "Wash, rinse, repeat".
Sounds good. Just hang in there.
With the rollercoaster we're riding,
it's difficult to know how high or low we'll
travel. Just hang on tight and try
not to scream too much.
I think we missed our chance. Spreads have
tightened as the price increased.
I would try $28.
Gotcha! So we should put in some super low bids
and grab some more at those low prices.
What's with the huge spread between
the bids and asks?
As of yesterday ,WKHS had 31% short interest.
Lets make them squeal UNCLE!
To be up over 8% on big volume when the rest
of the market is down HUGE is very encouraging.
We may see the $45 soon.
Today looks like we'll see a little
"Wash Rinse Repeat" action.
Don't forget, WKHS has a 10% stake in RIDE.
I guess we've seen the last chance to buy
under $25. Soon we'll be saying $30 is
"cheap". This means that I'll have a ton
of capital gains taxes to pay. But I won't
be crying about it.
Congrats on the buy. Today could be the start
of our "race" to $30.00 Those $23.10s I bought
a short while ago look pretty nifty now. Stay
long and strong and we will be greatly rewarded.
I missed it. I was playing golf.
It was odd trading. Maybe a hint
of things to come.
Who can make trades to four decimal places?
Are they real people or are they the "bots".
I know I can't!
