Lots of old faces still here too, despite what some people think. A good chunk of my shares are coming up on "long term" status.
There are plenty of big shareholders in the woodwork.
Great point Quest. If people want to cut & paste articles, they should cut & paste the entire article, as well as a link where they found the article. Full disclosure!
Don't forget - anybody can post anything on the internet.
Lots of chatter on the ICPA board tonight. That's good. It raises awareness of the company. Lots of positive things said about the company here. Lots of bullshit too. Newbies - decide for yourself who/what you want to believe.
Ad always, good luck to all shareholders here!
Why won't Sierra just go away? Her site is up only for people to pay her money for her worthless "advice".
I'm looking for a credible news source - no more rumors.
Well, we can't all be perfect.
Good luck fellow VRNG holder!
This is a great point Flashfan. I took a couple law classes in college (for G.E. purposes) and still don't understand what the hell that means. To a lay person, or typical juror, it needs to be spelled out. I'm not saying to write it in crayon, but paint a picture of what this means and how it relates to the trial.
IMO, if Google tries to spin this in a way that isn't 100% truth then Vringo's lawyers will burn them at the stake in the courtroom.
Question for the board: will this push Google into a corner to make them act?
Horrible timing for Google now that the trial is wrapping up. Let's see if this sways any jurors who were on the fence.
What do you mean by "the market agrees with me"?
And there are revenues. Always have been. Look at the audited financials. The only difference is they're getting bigger with every quarter.
ICPA is not a "pump & dump".
ICPA is not a POS stock.
ICPA is not going to .0025
Steve Samblis is not a clown CEO.
Q2 financials < Q3 financials < Q4 financials, etc.
Real products. Real services. Real revenues.
Still churning at these levels... Q3 revenues will be out within the next three weeks.
GOOG down 9%. Missed earnings?
Only those with TDAmeritrade accounts have the problem. OptionsXpress and Fidelity brokerage both allow me to buy shares of ICPA.
Good morning indeed, Tom. I think we are looking at a classic 10 round battle royale here. The Ref (or jury) will have the decision to see who placed the most jabs and ultimately the knockout blow to the head. The gloves might come off next week, but from everything I gather so far, this has been a cookie cutter court case so far.
The kicker is Google's Q3 earnings coming out after hours today. As was posted a couple posts ago, they are expected to be 9%
Hang in there and don't let your shares be shaken from you. GLTAL.
I agree JJ.
Thanks for all the good info and your opinions on the board. Much appreciated.
Even so - let's look at a "bad case scenario". Vringo wins the case and is awarded <$500mm. That is 10X the amount they have in cash right now. I bet they use that money to go sue the other companies.
This "bad case scenario" is also assuming the 3.5% is factored in to the <$500mm.
Plan for the worst. Hope for the best.
I saw earlier today, possibly yesterday, someone hashed out what 3.5% of royalties could be. Of the U.S. Google revenues, someone (again, a former post on this board - things run together after awhile) speculated about $2B - $2.1B.
If you add the two together, Vringo is asking for roughly $2.5B. Is this right, or am I way off base here?
Yes, but I was assuming the 3.5% was separate. If the original amount Vringo was looking for was $696mm, why would they go in and negotiate for less?
$493mm + 3.5% royalties?
Any lawyers, or people with courtroom experience, care to chime in here?

Would the case be pushed back or other cases bumped? It looks like this is the only jury trials set for this week.
Thanks in advance.
I agree BKMUC. And for anyone who wishes to speculate or does not know, IC Places' financials have always been filed on time, or before, and are audited. You can not say that about most stocks trading in this price range.
IC Places is legit. The products and services are real. Our strategic partnerships are critical to the ongoing success of the company.
Who wouldn't want to own shares of ICPA?!
$ICPA
Yes, I believe there is increased volume because of the Q3 financials coming out within the next 30 days. I also believe there will be a slow and steady climb up until those are released. IMO, each week we close higher than the previous one.
Clear Channel stock is up almost $2/share since the beginning of August. IC Places has partnered with Clear Channel to show our programming in airports via ClearVision Digital Networks.
We can't see behind the curtain right now, but obviously the market wants both ICPA and CCO to increase.
Classic! Today starts the final countdown
9s up on the ASK
Today is the day we have been waiting for, boys and girls. Sit back, post FACTS, and hope the jury is competent enough to see Vringo has a real case here.
Good luck to anyone holding the stock, options, or warrants.
87s hitting. High Of Day. Keep slappin' into the 9s!
Raise the bid, raise the ask. 85x86 now.
Nice bid support. 84s up on the ask.
75s up
7s printing. Get 'em while you can!
007 on the ASK
ICPA is looking good now. A bottom has formed and we are moving up. I would expect us to gradually uptick until the Q3 financials are released in the middle of next month. I urge anyone who is on the fence to really dig into what IC Places is all about. If you see where we have travelled over the past 9 months, you won't need anyone to tell you to "buy, buy, buy". It will be obvious.
This is not a flipper's stock. That's what I love about it. People buying right now are in for the long haul - and will be handsomely rewarded for doing so.
On ICPA.
Cheers!
I was just reading that sentence over and over. Vringo isn't going to battle with Google if they only have a coin flip of a chance.
Ladies and Gents, the deck is stacked in our favor.
I still think GOOG settles before trial. At the 11th hour, 11th minute, etc.
Neither side wants to put it in the hands of Joe and Jane Juror.
Conservative is good. I think $10 is a conservative stock price after all is said and done this month. Am I hoping for $12-15? Sure. But I am trying to keep things in perspective also.
The royalty factor is almost equally as important as the settlement amount. Then if you include the possibility of willful infringement, the stakes go up 3X.
Either way, I agree with a former post that stated VRNG doesn't have much downside at all from here. GOOG is the one with all the unknowns.
Again, I like our chances.
Quiet today and still trading in a tight range. From a technical standpoint, good news will make the chart pop. With the news we are all waiting to hear, throw the charts out the window!
A $5 close would certainly put VRNG back on investor's radars.
Is it Tuesday yet??

Hovering around the +.20/5% range here... let's keep this trend UP
$VRNG
Makes sense... thanks for your input
What does this mean in plain english, for those who are not lawyers? Obviously it looks like there will be a different judge presiding over the case - still on the 16th. Anything else?
