Ask is now .0015 Bid is at .0014
Bid .0014 740,000 Ask .0015 955,000
big order just cleared out .0012 next is .0014
.0012 Ask is gone! and still has a 1.5 mill bid order sitting
at .0012
the current ask is 200k at .0014 GONE
now Ask is 955,000 at .0015
bid at .0014 is 540,000 shares
GLTA
day high is .0017 hit at open before the
big order at .0012 posted. Luna was right,
big gap after .0012. Last spring, before the
army contract was supposed to be awarded,
the last resistance level was .0020
and only showing 11 mill left at the ask of .0012
Already talking production with potential customers
Jim has been getting the word out of his new fuel injection
pump and technology and also said more resources coming this summer.
He has a LOT of things lined up beyond the engineering side,
which means he has most of the parts design done and just wear
testing now. Talking to customers and getting the word out. I am glad
for him to reach it to this stage. 15 years is a long time, when
he could have retired. But he kept working to help green technology,
then gets rewarded with designs that can be used in other areas
and help pay for all the hard work he put into it. I hope AFTC gets
a big fat production contract from a racing parts company and maybe
Jim can take a vacation. For real, even if he brings his phone and
laptop. Now for all you bashers who dumped your shares at .001.
You get what you deserve. And for all the new shareholders, welcome
to AFTC and a real company on the pink sheets. GLTA
yes, the army does run almost everything on one fuel
to keep it simple. They use the JP-8 jet fuel and the
original Bosch fuel injection pumps wear too fast,
but now they will last longer with AFTC's technology
built into the new models. Also, the whole usa military
is the largest user of fuel in the whole world. Now,
how many updated fuel injections pumps will that be?
Then the second army SBIR, is for a army JP-8 jet
fuel ultra high pressure complete system for COMBAT
vehicles, like... turbo charges tanks, ect. Jim was
in the military in his younger days and he also has
done past design work for turbo-charging military engines.
This design will be built off the new 40,000 psi DME
fuel pump, adapted to run the jet fuel. You know that
the military only wants the newest and the best, why
else do you thing Mr McC is measuring down to 1 millionth
of an inch? Lives are on the line and it has to be right.
And thanks Proph, Jim is keeping his word, financials are posted,
then a news letter to the website, then a press release
following that. He does have the new army contract and almost
finished with the first one. Finally some progress. GLTA
that would be a good business plan after spending two years
on r+d to upgrade the Bosch pump to be more durable with JP-8 jet fuel
and save the army money on replacement costs. And even though
military spending is being cut back, a replacement
product that saves the army money will still be in the budget.
the closed bid is .0009 and ask is .0015
after hours does not show the big order at .0012,
It may just be a day order and get pulled when the
news release comes out. A lot of m+m's playing to
buy more shares low, before the army $ starts.
The last resistance was at .0020
The stock growth will partly depend on how fast AFTC can sell the
upgraded Bosch jet fuel injection pumps to the army
and if they get a DME contract with the election year
boosting a lot of investment decisions. With all the
time it takes a r+d company to get started on the pinks,
it is easy to get stuck in the past instead of the present
and near term, like the real projects the company has going.
That is why I would like to see a complete update. GLTA
he said he would do both, newsletter to the website first, then follow up with a PR.
Since he does not have time for a shareholder web meeting, we could get all the real info in one official statement. GLTA
quoted from Jim feb 28th, "and then follow up with a PR."
this is a repost of #6030. Jim is head of shareholder relations
and this was his reply, one week ago.
Hello,
Is there still going to be an official 2011/2012 summary-update in a press release?
It would be nice to have a company update that all the investors know is from you and current,
thank you

Yes.
I plan to post financials and a newsletter on our website by next week and then follow up with a PR. (reply shortened)

Jim won't give up control, after working 15 years
to build this company and design all his new technology.
Ford can just pay AFTC for any fuel systems they want.
As long as Jim has control, no oil company can stop
DME fron going green in cars. I would like to see
an electric and turbo charged DME car in Germany
on the autobahn. I asked Jim if a 'green' car had to
be slow and he said no, it depends on how you program
the computer chip for power.
thanks HowHi, he already said no dilution
and no reverse split. The news release should
answer more of your questions.
yes, but he has also stated several times before that
he intends to follow the website update with
an official press release. That will reach all
of the investment community, including new investors.
It is standard procedure to have regular business
updates, I don't see why AFTC should be any different.
It is not privately held, and the public shareholders
have a right to know what is going on from an official
business update release, not just emails here and there.
(except for the r+d projects that are confidential.)
It will be nice to see a 2011/2012 summary. They are
already working on the second army sbir and will be
done with the first army sbir by may 1st. Then, how soon
can AFTC sell their technology to the army?
A lot of questions to be answered. GLTA
why is the Bid and Ask only showing 5,000 shares?
(or is this only what I see at my acct?)
how can the MM or (brokers?)
hide both the real buy and sell orders pending?
that is BS... Luna was right,
someone is controlling this stock and not letting it
show the real trading orders.
Where is FINRA when you need them.
<if anyone else sees more than a 5000 each pls let me know>

Good morning,
are there still plans for a 2011/2012 summary and update in a press release?
That would reach the whole investment community and be more credible
than all the bits and pieces of information given in the personal emails.
I am sure there has been a lot of progress in the year and a half since the last one.
The new army sbir contract, the surface engineering, and the possible other uses for the pump technology
are all new areas that we would like to hear more about.
Thank you for your time.

We are working on it now. We plan to post the financials today and then
follow up with a business update.
everyone sure makes a lot of assumptions that are too narrow minded.
this stock can go to any price the public bids it up to. I used to own HGSI a drug/research company in 2009, when it was $2.50 before a press release, and after the press release, it was at $12.00 then within the next two years it peaked at $30 and is now back to $8.00 or so. The price of the stock depends on the size of the investor base. The HGSI news hit the usa evening tv news and everyone wanted to buy some for their account. So, if you have a large enough audience, it could go to one dollar, or what ever. One thing for sure is, it will not be stable until it gets a steady income. Nothing is for certain, but if you own some, keep an open mind and stick to your own strategy, so whatever happens, you will still reach your goals.
GLTA
yes, he did say to protect the stock,
but he did not say how, and I do remember him
mentioning the nasdaq once, but it would take
a big contract and good income to pay for the upgrade.
And, if the share value ever goes up and stays up,
Jim can sell a few more shares and use those funds
to pay for the move to a better exchange. There are
a lot of options in this area. Everyone have a good eve.
He can sell parts without going to Korea,
so, if he goes, he is just helping them more,
and I post the emails, only because Jim is
head of investor relations and only gives out
general information, and the same day I get them.
And everyone has different investing goals,
it's all good, everyone's own D+D
and strategy.
I thought back when we were asking him about the
fees on the pink sheets, that he mentioned that if he had enough business that he would rather be on the NASDAQ.
JMHO
the last trade at .0009 was 5000 sh for $4.50
market manipulators at work again, they did that
at a loss, (after commissions)just to show the price.
I will be glad when AFTC moves off the pink sheets.
good volume today, it will clear out all those shares
that were bought close to the yearly low of .0005
so far this week about 33 million shares. Then,
with the end of the first army SBIR testing coming up May 1st,
we can find out how long until/if the army wants
to purchase any upgraded jet fuel pumps.
The company has been growing the last two years, since they first
won the Ford DME testing contract back in 2009, when the price
was .04 cents, even adding in the shares AFTC sold
to raise capital, the equal price per share would be .01
but add two years of product and customer growth and
the actual share price should be higher still.
Add few cents for each new customer and /or area of business,
like army, SBIR 1 and 2, DME customers EU and Korea and ? Asia
then possible customers from other high pressure pumping
applications and from surface engineering uses. I do like
the diversity and quality of AFTC products.
IMHO... let me know if I am wrong or missed anything.

Subject: Good morning and thank you for your quick reply
(I asked a question about the two army SBIR's and when all the testing would be completed)
And while I am on that topic, have you been durability testing the jp-8 fuel injectors for the last two years,
alongside the jp-8 fuel injection pump? (even though the army only awarded you the funds last Aug...) I thought
maybe you had saved time and would have both parts durability testing done this May, as they
are made to work together. Or can the army run their own jp-8 fuel injectors with your jp-8 fuel injection pump?
And how soon could the army purchase the jp-8 FI pumps from AFTC?
Thank you for your time and all you do for green technology.

His reply Wed 29th, 5 pm
We have 2 entirely different projects with the Army:
1. The first project was awarded 2 years ago in May. It involves the redesign pf a Bosch high pressure injection pump so that it can reliably operate on jet fuel instead of diesel. This project was awarded $727,000. We have been very successful and the Army is pleased. We will finish in May.
2. The second project involves developing an advanced, ultra-high pressure fuel system for combat vehicles (jet fuel). It is based on our DME pump and an injector that I co-invented when I was a VP at Navistar. This contract was awarded in August and will last 2 years ($737,000).

if Mr McCandless goes to South Korea,
anyone else here wonder why he would have to
go in person, instead of conducting business
over the phone/fax/web/airmail, ect?
The only reason I could come up with is,
that they may need his help with something. I remember that
they were designing and building their own engine to run on DME.
If they are serious about ordering fuel systems from AFTC, they may want him to check over all their new equipment to make sure that it will all work together smoothly. Plus, he could check over
their testing specs and such. Just engineer work and common
sense to check over everything in person to make sure it will fit.
This is only a guess, I do not have any information, except what
you have all seen in the last email. (that he may have to go to Korea).
Either way, the company is headed in the right direction.
IMHO and GLTA
maybe it was the email reply from Jim.
some programs use black as no change in price traded
green a higher price, red a lower price.
it must be important or he would not waste his time,
and usually business travel is for, either starting contact
with a new customer, or finishing a deal, like signing a contract, ect, he can fax/phone all the technical info to them, so your guess is as good as mine. South Korea did say in the past, that they wanted to run a fleet of their E-Mighty? delivery trucks on DME for an arab country. Not sure what their plans are, we will just have to wait and see. GLTA
I want to thank all the longs that have contributed to this post over the last three years.

(I saved the proof it is real, and I sent that to Luna.)
"Ford is committed to China and a greener future," said Dave Schoch, chairman and CEO of Ford China. “The new Focus is an incredibly popular and successful global vehicle and we are delighted to introduce it to China, as the first of 15 new vehicles we are bringing here by 2015.”
http://www.freep.com/article/20120224/BUSINESS0102/120224025/Ford-China-new-assembly-plant?odyssey=nav%7Chead
lets hope that includes an ele/dme hybrid.
GLTA
Everyone have a great weekend,
all posters opinions are welcome. That is the whole
point of the blog. We all have the same investment,
even if it is for different reasons.
and about the ? you asked Jim...
"On a side note. (you) e-mailed Jim and asked what % of business they do that is not DME. 90%, but he said that that will change later this year..."
if you follow logic, then (the 90% of business they do that is not DME... is the current army contracts that test JP-8 jet fuel).
and perhaps he was referring to a DME project going to the next stage, later this year. (I hope it is Ford of Europe or Korea).
Just my opinion,
GLTA
Oil is still rising 109.50 and everyone else
have a great weekend.
http://www.livecharts.co.uk/MarketCharts/crude.php
last year Total Oil co had it down to one step
from (two steps) out of nat gas,
and Korea has a big DME plant
being built for the arabs, it is being made today
and more plants in the expansion also today.
It is DME is already here.
I meant Carbon Free Green auto power,
natural gas vehicles and
oil from bio sources is still pollutes the air.
As far as I have seen, electric and DME fit this
and are ready to use now. (as long as the ele is from
a clean renewable source, like hydro, solar or wind.
And as long as the carbon is removed and kept out of the air,
when the DME is being made.
I am not sure if hydrogen powered vehicles are green or practical
or even close to being ready yet.
post #6000 AFTC MADE IN THE U.S.A.
Go AFTC! and all other real startup companies,
in honor of all the pinks investors/survivors.
DME already has fueling stations in Sweden
and they have been running truck fleets the last two years.
That is not ten years off. And Ford has been testing AFTC's
complete fuel system for more than 2 1/2 years, since they bought the first test unit in Aug of 2009, (plus, Ford did their own dme research for years before that.)
It seems they could have a small hybrid ele/dme green car
designed for the European market already?
They are all racing to be first with the best green technology,
or why else would all the projects be confidential. DME has been used for years and is practical.
I don't see the big oil companies working with hydrogen fuels or such, I may be wrong, please inform me of any large green projects by the oil companies that are based on green auto technology, besides DME fuel cars.
And I do agree, the JP-8 fuel systems for the Army give AFTC diversity
and a customer who wants to save on replacement costs now.
GLTA
A lot of countries are actively working to get away
from dependence on oil, and yes, higher oil prices
will help AFTC and other alternative fuel/energy sources.
DME is a well know item, as it has been
made and used around the world for aerosol use.
There are already plants making DME for this use.
The newer technology has been developed to make it
less expensive to make from several green renewable sources.
I believe china currently has the most DME plants in the world,
(as they use it for fuel to replace LP gas in cooking, ect.)
and Sweden has the first DME auto/truck fuel filling stations.
Mr McC has stated that the AFTC fuel systems are ready
and can be made to retrofit many diesel engines.
It seems that the only thing holding up the use of dme fuel
is the big oil companies,
and auto companies don't want to give up gasoline. Sort of a monopoly, except electric cars are starting to get a chance. To prove this,
one of the biggest researchers of DME is Total Oil Company of France,
seems they want to be in at the start of DME fuel use.
(on a side note, in the late 1970's someone in the usa made a 48" full size electric riding lawn mowers that worked great, <my neighbor had one> but that green tech was stopped too.)
IMHO and GLTA
oil and gas prices rising will only help AFTC
and green transport,
and what, besides electric cars, is ready to go, but DME?
Are there any other technologies ready to mass produce and run in
vehicles (besides AFTC's DME fuel systems,)
(and Volvo's DME truck systems... thanks to aft helping them for 10 years)
I have heard of hydrogen and such, but are they ready to build and go, now?
AFTC is still way ahead of a lot of green car technology.
Maybe this last oil spike will free up some funding for new contracts for DME cars.
GLTA
since the 2 mill sell at .0006 is gone,
why is a MM covering the next real sale price
with a token 5k ?
Is is really .0007 or .0008?
...bad data, they even lie at L2 data
by not showing all their orders,
must be news sooner or later.
GLTA
I was not supporting any politics,
I don't care who wins, it seems the people still loose.
and I was only stating that it affects a lot of businesses,
and the election will have a big impact on the country.
I did not take sides and only stated what happened in the past,
and IF it would happen again. And since some people here cannot
be objective I will limit my posts to new info only.
GLTA
most of us invest on D+D and current information,
and Jim had to be very careful in what he says,
with all the legal limits he is under.
AFTC is one of the world leaders in this technology,
with several r+d customers in diverse fields.
(DME and JP-8 jet fuel)
What more do you want, except patience?
That is what it is called investing for,
if everyone could see the results now,
we would never have the chance to be in
this company at the ground floor,
or to own so many shares, so easily.
I am happy to hold, plenty in my tax free IRA.
oil prices and DC politics also affect the share value,
the big picture is just as important as the day to day events,
and if the ar-b tensions keep going up, there is a possibility
that oil could spike this Spring. Then, the presidential election year,
and the chance (?) that the pres will be reelected and get back control of the house, if that happens he will keep pushing green technology and job $ here at home. All the us- green companies will benefit. Solar, wind and new clean fuels like DME.
And even with the military budget cuts, the newly designed AFTC jp-8 jet fuel injection pumps and system is durable enough for the army to save money by buying the new technology that will have a longer service life. So, a big cost savings will always be part of the spending.
and as for the comment on the timing of my email yesterday,
it had nothing to do with the market.
To ass-u-me is not a good thing.
GLTA
email reply from CEO Mr McCandless this morning
I emailed Jim this am and got a quick reply. He is not sure if the majority of shareholders want a press release along with a website update or just a website update. I would like a press release because it reaches all the investment community. And because, the 'green' investors never hear of AFTC's progress, because most of the projects are confidential.
And since there was no shareholder meeting, and he is still head of shareholder relations, let him know how you feel through emails.
<I skipped all my bla bla bla...he is head of shareholder relations and can and does still answer emails... my questions were about... what is going on in regards to the shareholders and AFTC >
I understand some shareholders have different opinions, but we all have a right to express our own. Thanks for everyone's input.
