Baltia has only issued 2 press releases this year……
1. “Baltia Air Lines Currently Selecting Cabin Crew Members” (1/31/14)
2. “Baltia Air Lines Announces Launch of New Website” (2/6/14)
NOT A CNN REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The article is an ireport, which is akin to you posting a review on amazon.com...anybody can do it. And who was the mysterious author of this enlightening report? TheBrainiac - now there’s a source we can all believe in...probably the same individual who spawned the fairy tale of the whale who came to save Baltia...a disgruntled investor who is trying desperately to inflate the stock price so he can unload his garbage.
So what did the FAA have to say?
I'm just trying to keep you from making a terrible mistake like so many others have.
Obviously, you have been misinformed.
Baltia has been promising really big news for over 20 years now - don't hang waiting for this one.
Can't wait to read your post tomorrow with the definitive answer...or will it be Top Secret like every other answer not given on this board?
What did Barry tell you about the Heavy C-Check, or D-Check, or sequence of mini C-Checks (or whatever Baltia is calling it to be cute) scheduled for the end of May? I bet he didn't say ANYTHING about that, did he?
Do you really think the FAA will give you or anyone else information regarding Baltia approval status over the phone - or in any other way, shape, or form?
Oh, go ahead - have at it...
So then, you agree that the new Baltia web site is nothing more than a fantasy? Their depiction of their management team is false? There are a bunch of unnamed individuals behind the scenes running the company? The 4 guys pictured on the web site aren't real? Then again, it doesn't really matter who runs this company - it is doomed to failure.
Makes you wonder if anything about Baltia is true or real, doesn't it?
You keep saying there are more - if that is true, why aren't they named on the web site? Baltia management team is comprised of 4 individuals, according to the Baltia web site.
Did you bother going to the link I posted for the Baltia web site? Here it is...Post #21074.
Go there and see Baltia's management team. That is Baltia's web site - they had the option of putting anything they wanted on it. They chose to list 4 people, calling it their management team. Are you saying Baltia would lie about such things? Are you saying they don't know who is on their management team? Are you saying Baltia doesn't know what they're doing...hmmm...now there's a thought...
I know what is required by the DOT - I also know what Batia put on their web site - and that is the only thing that matters. If it's not put in writing, it can't be true (even if it is, I don't believe it).
What does the Baltia web site say? Here's a link - do some DD and learn...
http://www.baltia.com/corporate.html
Baltia management team - 4 people. If there were more, I'm sure they would list them so as not to hurt anyone's feelings, wouldn't you think?
I just checked the newly completed website, and guess what? The Baltia management team is comprised of only 4 guys - and 3 of them are VP's!!!
Is that legal?
If this whale has so much money that he can fund Baltia’s operations (a questionable investment at best), why doesn’t he just start up his own airline? By the way...was that big-time investor who gave you this great information the same one who used to make predictions here based on voodoo and the stars? The same one who predicted we’d all be rich by the end of the week (almost 3 years ago)? The same one who predicted we’d have approval by tomorrow (almost 2 years ago)? The same guy who continuously made predictions that have yet to come true? Did he meet the this whale in jail by any chance?
Here's the press release:
Baltia's Initial Cadre Of Pilots Begin Training
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=60023586
Now that the pylons are back on 706...
...theoretically, they could rent engines and fly the plane to Malaysia to be cut up into beer cans like 705...
Maybe they intend to lease a plane for their inaugural flight. Would that mean they would have to re-write the manuals and start training all over again? Maybe fly in 2017?
Just out of curiosity...
...why is the latest PR posted 3 times in the Recent BLTA news section? I didn't find it exciting enough to be posted once...but that's just my opinion...
I did find it interesting that what started as the training of the initial cadre of pilots has become training of the initial crew of pilots. I don't believe cadre and crew are the same thing - carefully worded statements or screw up?
BLTA goes Sub-Penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...just want to prepare all you investors for the inevitable. If not today...soon, IMHO (LOL).
On the contrary - I believe what Baltia posted on their website is complete. Why wouldn't it be? It's their website...it's their company. Don't they know their own management team? Maybe that's all they have - maybe they fired everyone else. Wouldn't really surprise me...they haven't been doing a very good job of managing an airline. Wouldn't be they first time they failed to comply with government requirements (LOL).
By the way - how is the training coming along? How is the C-Check...or is it the Heavy C-Check...or is it the D-Check coming along?
For those on this board who have yet to visit the updated Baltia web site, I hereby post the bio's for the Baltia Management Team:

If this is misinformation, please blame Baltia, not me.
Actually, a company can have more than one VP. I'm sure Baltia will add some more as time goes on.
By the way, I noticed you signed your post BLTA - is there some significance to that? Whoops...
Go back to post 20930 and follow the chain. You’ll note that in post 20936, I referred to the web site as a complete joke. I never said the site looks awesome. I think the site is...well...a complete joke.
Please refer to the link I have provided (the new and improved Baltia web site):
http://www.baltia.com/corporate.html
Scroll down to where it says 'Management Team'.
Carefully count the the pictures and names of the individuals there.
1 - 2 - 3 - 4.
According to the Baltia web site the management team is comprised of 4 individuals.
This is what I stated in my previous post.
Yes it will (LOL).
According to the new, improved, updated web site (a complete joke)the management team is comprised of 4 people...
Despite all the pumping and painting, this stock will go sub-penny before the end of the month...
The training should have been completed 12/27/13. Today marked the end of the 11th week since training allegedly began, and no word form Baltia. Can't wait to hear the excuses for this one - who do you think they will blame...the FAA? Kalitta? Bush?
I think it was a great question and one that needs to be answered!
Baltia withdrew its application from the New York FSDO on October 15 and filed its application at the East Michigan FSDO on October 17, 2012...that's more than a year ago. Their SOE is a fairy tale - just like all the other promises and predictions they have made. The chances of them completing certification within a few months are slim to none...just my opinion, of course.
It may only be the middle of January, but according to the most recent BLTA news posted here, "The 7 week course which began on November 11th...", training should have been completed December 27, 2013. Maybe I misunderstood...maybe the course is only held one week every month and it will be completed in 7 months.
Who knows? I've given up expecting ANYTHING these people say or predict to be done on time or even close to it.
Went to the website...same bland crap that was there last time I visited. Maybe they plan on updating it soon...just like they keep saying they're going to fly soon. Maybe they're going to go out of business soon...come to think of it, they've never really been in business have they? With the possible exception of monkey business...but that's just my opinion (Ha,ha).
Went to your link - this is what is there:
Manager of Cabin Safety required for a New York based air carrier, Part 121 international airline ut - Jamaica, NY
It doesn't say anything about Baltia...what makes you think it's related?
When did Evergreen perform maintenance work for Baltia?
Not sure what crashing meteors have to do with the price of fuel, but acording to a recent post on this board, "Per the pro-forma, Baltia projects $120M revenue year one, with $18M profits at 64% capacity and fuel charged at $3.50." So, if Baltia was basing all their profit projections on paying $3.50 for fuel, how does a price more than double that impact all their projections? That old 747 sure sucks down a lot of fuel in one trip across the Atlantic.
Maybe the crashing meteor thing had to do with Baltia...
Where can I buy jet fuel for $3.03 a gallon - JFK?
No offense, but just because YOU are telling us something that YOUR FRIEND told you after speaking to an AIRPORT MANAGER at Oscoda - that does little to bolster my confidence in Baltia. Did your friend tell you where 706 is today? Did he tell you that it is in the active maintenance area...actually being worked on? Or did he tell you it’s out in the parking lot, all covered with snow? I never heard of a “heavy” C-Check...one that will take 4 weeks to complete...in addition to the 5 months until May rolls around - 6 months for a 'C'???. Will that be started in the beginning of May, or the end of May? I guess the mini-evacs and proving runs won’t be able to start until sometime in June? After the C-Check is complete?
Again, no offense, but I prefer to get my information from orvie...
and tell your friend he can stop pm-ing me, telling me how wrong I am - if he has anything to say, he can share it with the other members.
I’ll believe orvie and his water cooler talk long before I’ll believe a word from ANY of the management or pumpers from Baltia. At some point, you have to pull your heads out of La-La land and face the facts - the C-Check is NOT progressing nicely...706 is in the parking lot covered with snow - no work is being performed on it. The low temperatures in Oscoda are going to hit single digits next week (with snow) - NOBODY is going to outside working on this plane. 706 is scheduled for a D-Check in May...the C-Check has still not been completed - that will also have to be completed. The plane has to get back inside the hangar to do this work. Who knows when that will be. The pylons are not on the plane...Baltia is buying two pylons from Kalitta - apparently there was a little problem with two pylons (?). Who knows what other “little” problems will be detected during the remaining C and D-checks... 706 is not going to fly during the first quarter of 2014...or the 2nd or 3rd quarter. The cost of fixing up this old buzzard may just be more than it’s worth..it may have to be scrapped - then what, Baltia?
Of course, all of this is just my humble opinion...and thank you orvie, for keeping us up to date with the TRUTH - even if it is water-cooler speak...
I guess you thought you answered my question...??? Your reply is no even remotely related to my post. I never suggested a C-Check could replace a D-Check. I suggested that since 706 was towed into the hanger for the C-Check 5 months ago and still isn't completed, the D-Check could take up to 2 years to complete. I might want to adjust that to 3 years on the D- Check.
