Agreed fully on the bugs, they laugh at ozone.
Let's see what the FDA says Thursday.
This is beginning to sound like the "Raft of the Medusa." Any word from the raft captain?
Is Medizone at the CES show in Las Vegas? Not a perfect match but Lots of exposure.
Doubtful $5 million can make up for decades of squander.
With no Christmas wishes from the administration, this is not surprising!
Do any of the directors here have a real science background, meaning beyond High School and college?
Your puzzlement makes sense. Medizone lawyers should explain the issue but they won't. However, the FDA does not like being challenged and has been known to be vindictive.
Two paths diverged in the yellow wood. Medizone took the wrong one first, it should have waited on that one. The right one to have taken first is wound healing, for which it had a patent.
The new administration has ordered the FDA to stop its meandering on medical devices. As a consequence there is little doubt here that January's meeting will be positive for Medizone
Three cents four cents...is this the legacy of twenty years of self-serving ineptitude? Or are we heading for a Medizone resurrection? We are eagerly awaiting our new CEO's Holiday message!
To me, very realistic possibility, and derived from that, excellent idea.
For one , the CDC should have acute awareness for sure
Other venues: foundations such as the Abell Foundation, and others.
Yes, you have a valid point. Agreed, ORs are too chock full of ozone-sensitive materials to be considered. That's why I've suggested marketing AS for patient room treatment because that's where most HAIs occur. And the sensitive electronics there, such as TVs and monitors, can easily be protected or removed during the AS process. Furthermore, the ratio of patient rooms to ORs is probably 100 to 1.
If a new HAI bug mutates, spreads quickly, and creates vast damage, the FDA will have eggs -on-face, because they have been indolent and cavalier about AS. If they don't realize that this is a realistic cataclysm, they well should soon!
To be realistic, Mr Dodd inherited a used car sitting in a parking lot for 20 years that was not running. We think he will get it fit and on the road.
The news release is honest, direct, and hopeful. Its appreciation of challenges is clear, and its evaluation of promises is positive. Thank you Mr. Dodd from our group!
Where is Dr. Shannon in all this? After all, he is the inventor of AS and certainly would like to see it being applied to good use - and why not in Canada, which could then become a world leader in top grade hospital disinfection and infection control.
Investor relations, the best way to get new investors, has been adversarial for the last 20 years.
Both the FDA and NIH are under intense pressure regarding HAIs - and they are both increasingly aware of ozone-based therapies, and of Medizone technology.
To us, the snail FDA process here is simply hurting U.S. business and compromising public health.
Over 10 M and counting
If there is no movement by year's end, no company updates, etc., our group votes to sell the company to the highest bidding. Maybe a special SH meeting?
Predictions the eventual SP would then still be significantly higher than the current SP.
After some recent conversations, a positive vote is directed at Green.
His take on holding and/or buying has some logic and merit on several fronts
If MZEI goes for grabs in a bidding situation, the shareholders would eventually come out ahead, perhaps not beyond their initial investments but certainly way above the current SP. MZEI has patents, a decently working machine, EPA, CE, and pending FDA. Also a unique tech niche for pathogen inactivation in a context of a global invasion of deadly antibiotic-resistant microbes. Doubtful also that Shannon’s pride would let things tank without a fight.
But it also has liabilities including, so far, management, but that can be remedied.
In solid agreement with WIV here. Most good news, however, can be creatively milked, especially today with the explosion of media networks, and often very cheaply. For example, EPA and CE. Could EPA have been widely diffused to the North American media? Sure. Could the CE have been made widely known to the EU? Of course.
Make it all exciting. Don’t sit on your derriere!
There are many possible venues to inform the world of AS, press/news releases, and all levels of science articles. The articles can be popular ones, or they can be scientific, and there are many audiences for all these articles. The press is hungry for all manner of advancements
Sample headlines: “CE approval granted for innovative technology aimed at hospital safety.” Or, “EPA gives green light to new method of hospital infection eradication,” etc.
Make it futuristic, not some oh-hum discovery waiting to be found. Do something, where‘s your EEG?
As for scientific articles, the sky is the limit: The novel potent chemistry of ozone/hydrogen peroxide mixtures. Its biological mechanisms. How such mixtures address the growing threat of new pathogens. How do these strategies compare to other approaches, etc
Also, other patents need to be written to further protect this technology: who is writing the patents, if anyone? Is anybody home?
Fully agree, the whole PR strategy was and is bumbling pittle. There is a world medical press out there eager for hopeful science. Well-written articles and smart press releases could have kept millions interested. Management's approach of passive wait and see, and history of adversity to good investor relations must stop for success to bloom.
Of the several things that could reverse the company's decline would be a medical hemp announcement. Indeed, ozone can have an important place in solving some of the problems it is encountering.
This is due to years (actually two decades) of wheeling-dealing without adding substance to the Company. Details can be available on request.
HOWEVER and fortunately, later in the game a wake up call developed Asepticsure, probably from Dr Shannon. It has great potential but as said before, it needs creativity, willingness to listen to others, good science and marketing backgrounds, and a bit of genius...will it happen?
The present situation has been a LONG time in the making.
To repair it will require creativity and a touch of genius.
At this juncture, it’s looking like the low point in SP, hopefully it won’t dive further. MZEI business strategy needs serious re-thinking and there should be no room for save-the-world mission statements in these dire straits.
The idea floated some time back suddenly looks viable. Who doesn’t want a near-sterilized facility? Why not contact portable toilet companies that combined, involve millions of units. People are grossed out by them. AS can readily do the job like no other method: Johnny-on-the-Spot, Luxury restroom trailers, Callahead, Rent-A-Throne, Royal Flush, Tanks–a-Lot, Drop Zone, Happy Can, ASAP, and dozens more. This could rapidly generate solid profits…no joke! Does the idea fall below management’s sensitivities?
Passion and faith are great as long as they don't get out of bounds, then they blind you to what is logical and rational. Look at Don Quijote.
CPR, requiem, or opportunity for rebirth?
The alarm is ringing harder, time for a wake up.
You look at the bios of the scientists involved in this mission: Shannon, Zoutman, St John, and
one wonders... what's going on?
Shannon is an expert in his ozone field. But ozone basic and industrial science is vast and rapidly moving. New machines and systems are created evermore rapidly, and new markets are emerging. One man cannot do it all.
The Company needs the dedicated contributions of advisors who have expertise in the diverse aspects of the science and the medical and industrial applications of ozone.
Medical grade hemp requires the highest purity, no pesticides of any sort! Look up the list of hemp diseases, impressive. And if fungi, bacteria, viruses or protozoans colonize on the plants, the crop is shot. That's where ozone comes in, because ozone inactivates all without leaving residues. Hopefully Medizone is actively invested in adapting its technology accordingly.
The MZEI Bloopers over the years, aside from comic relief, account for much of the time lost as you allude. Someday we will list them on the Hub.
Meanwhile let's hope we have a good captain with a stable compass
To us, the company needs serious advisors.
Green, there are apples and oranges, hardly anyone will have an AS machine in their living rooms.
The old regime was seriously clueless on the ways of the FDA: You have to get everything in writing!
It just shows how the world's acceptance of ozone technologies is expanding
Global medical ozone market:

They need to issue an emergency reassurance notice.
Any info on how they plan to use AS in cannabis?
All interesting since Canada is poised to be the world export leader in medical hemp products.
