Not fluff, but just their current business plan and direction they plan to take the company.
At times it is just difficult to understand their recent business practices and decisions. Hopefully they can keep their original business plan on track.
Picked up a few million to start with @ .0003, likes what I see here. Plus the price was right. Will watch here a bit before I pick up more. GLTA
Hahahahaha....the thought of a plane painted with Calypso Cream painted on the side just popped into my head!! LOL
Really wish the company would do a PR to shareholders, please let us know why you think the fall and winter will be good for Avstar?
We don't need specifics, just what type of things they might be working on, it would go a long way to boost shareholder confidence. Every time we get a email, it seems like a stall. Are they looking at more routes, more planes, maybe rotary service, who knows? That is the problem, we don't know and they aren't giving anything.
For all we know maybe they are opening a Avstar Ice Cream Stand.
If they truly have positive things in the works, let people know.
Hey one of the Mods should remove Peorge's DD site link from the sticky. It's probably not good to have a non-working DD site. If someone decides to take it over it can go back up.
We should also thank Peorge for the work he put into the site for our benefit.
This goes back to the same thing we've all said, if the company was a bit more proactive they could have made a release on the American Aviation issue and the auction issue ahead of problems.
These things should not be left to an after the fact fishing (no pun intended) expedition to find details.
It would also save countless emails..
I agree with you on that, I also on page 6, I saw Pangea Petro, which of course is Avstar's prior name. This must go back a ways. All of these natural resource companies always face litigation. A few years ago a company put up 40 wind turbines near me, they don't bother anyone, but the claims of health hazards and annoying "white noise" are now causing lawsuits by the original anti-wind farm people.
How could they sell planes? They don't own any.
This is getting down where it might make a good few tick flipper!!
Except this is business property and with the number names listed as owners, they likely had to file something. I know here in NY they would in that case.
Except it may have belonged to Gamber from the old twin Air, and no one except the landlord and auction company will make anything.
Well since it was listed as a "Legal Notice" for auction and obviously must have some court (could just be small claims), I'd be pretty confident the property either belongs to Gamber or Twin Air....I can't say Avstar, they are not mentioned, so quite possibly these are items personnally belonging to Gamber from the old Twin Air.
I was almost starting to believe they didn't know anything about the American Aviation, June 2012 filing also, guess I'm going back to believing what I see and not what they say.
FAA Inspected Aircraft parts are old unused? You made contact with Gamber and he said it's not theirs?
They very obviously can't pay their rent to the point the landlord took legal action to seize and sell the property of Twin Air Calypso. I'd say they are no so stable!
So yeah, I really trust what these guys say. Now it's pretty clear why they wanted to be non-reporting.
Just checked, it's listed as a landlords lien and sale.
From the Auctioneers Website:
Thursday, July 19th,
11:00 A.M.
Landlords Lien Sale
F.A.A. Inspected Aircraft Parts For Cargo & Twin Engine Planes
Now that second link about the Public Auction of Twin Air property is very disturbing.
I certainly hope Avstar follows up with DOT and lets them know that they did not approve the filing. If they don't the presence of that document could further delay their commuter status approval. We don't need DOT thinking that American Aviation is involved with Twin Air if they are not.
Aren't they still holding unissued Preferred Shares?
From their DOT Application:
la.-2 Stock Types
Common Stock - 500,000,000 shares authorized, all issued, no conversion rights to another class or series, no Board of Director rights, one vote per share, no right to automatic or minimum dividend, no consequences to failure to pay dividend, last in liquidation preference.
Preferred Stock -100,000,000 shares authorized, none issued,, no conversion rights to another class or series, no Board of Director rights, one vote per share, no right to automatic or minimum dividend, no consequences to failure to pay dividend, first in liquidation preference.
So let me get this right, Avstar is saying that they had NO knowledge that American Aviation (Mr. Brown) was filing legal documents on Twin Air's behalf with US DOT. If that is in fact true it's serious criminal activity by American Aviation CEO and DOT should be notified.
Please provide where this info was accessed. If not it's just another undocumented opinion.
Not me, not without them pulling a rabbit out of their hat. Not even sure I'm keeping the few I have left now.
Even though I own this crap, I normally don't post here. However, your statement is wrong. There is no requirement for Pink Sheets to file quarterly. A Pink Sheet company can get away with issuing periodic PR's. You can earn a "Stop Sign" warning when there has been no information given to shareholders and a Caveot Emptor when it stock is a proven problem.
The problem I see here in my experience (about 16 years of trading), companies can't wait to release good information, or even pending good news. Going silent and becoming inaccessible is not normally a good sign. Thumbing your nose at the SEC, failing to file financials, missing a number of deadlines and failing to keep government agencies updated of status is not actions of a company looking to move forward.
These are the actions of a company which doesn't care any longer. As each day passes, this becomes more apparent. IMO
AAVG has no new information now, they will release news when they have it. Please don't call, they are all too busy to take a phone call. Emails have apparently also been temp. suspended.
The good news is, DOT has not been denied yet! Maybe forgotten, but not denied.
Lets hope your still able to use them in September!
I think people should buy, this should be going to .004 anytime. Don't wait and have to chase, buy now!!! News coming any day now!!! Future is looking pretty bright.
Hahahahaha...roll changing today.
Just a feeling, I keep looking at the fact that there has been no effort to update anything, or file anything on time since December-January. Plenty of time to get things straight. We also have the standard, "have nothing to report now, but should have something soon", which in my mind is a stall and cop-out. Hell, they didn't even tell us that they moved out of their TX Headquarters and changed their address and phone, how can you forget something like that? No website updates as promised many months ago. Can't get an answer whether liabilities are up or down (didn't even ask for a figure). I have other PK which I have no problem getting answers like that (just don't know if they are truthful or not).
Throw all the above out there, coupled with the mystery d/b/a by American Aviation, which in all respects does appear to be a shell company and a reasonable person would conclude that Avstar is not being straight forward with it's shareholders. Remember that Mr. Brown acted as signatory for both Avstar and American Aviation, which the d/b/a could give him the right to do. So, what I see, is a shell company (American Aviation), who's headquarters is a house in a residential neighborhood, which is acting on behalf of a company which we are stockholders. No one else has questions about this?
We need to dig a bit and find a copy of the d/b/a filing or any other agreement documents. I have a friend who runs an private investigation firm, I may ask for a favor and ask him to use one of his public document search services to see what he can find.
This is only my opinion.... Seeing that there has been apparently no effort to bring anything current as to filings with the SEC and no realistic attempts to hire a new auditor, it would appear to me that going back to non-reporting may be intentional. They now have no requirement to provide any information.
Again, this is only my opinion and they may just have been too busy working on the big deals to be released later to keep things updated.
I may have read wrong, I couldn't zoom, so I was trying to read at 50% zoom, it was quite distorted. I have a hard time at 100%!
Thanks, I recall after reading. They have 100,000,000 of preferred stock, but none have been been issued for conversion.
I don't know what anyone else said, my statement was that if Avstar did in fact sell Twin Air and the Maint. Facilities, they would be left with no operating revenue making entities. From that point they would have to enter new ventures or relationships.
It was a very large shareholder let-down to withhold audited filings. It leaves all of us to our opinions, which we base on information we have and how each of us view that particular info.
Each of us can take a particular piece of info and view it differently, this company has been so evasive, it's easy to draw our own conclusions.
Question, of those shares issued to insiders, do you know how many, if any are preferred and convertible? I know that some were issued, but really don't recall if they were to them or others. Poss. preferred were only issued to lenders.
Don't all opinions count?, why would some call certain opinions BS or imply that they are only to deliberately cause fear and intice selling?
Just so I understand, if you don't look at Avstar in a positive manner and post implied opinions of levels that the pps will achieve, then it is BS.
Wrong, please don't bash people because we don't see Avstar as we did 6 months ago, things change and so do opinions.
Really just look at those telling people to sell and get out, it's not the ones posting about the failures of Avstar.
I'll continue to give my opinion, good or bad. Why, because thats what these boards are about, the views of all.
I don't think there should be any confusion about ownership of planes that Twin Air uses, they don't own any planes. Of the 3 planes they were last known to be using, 2 are leased (as part of a 5 year agreement) from Ken Langston and the 3rd was owned by Aztec Air.
I've got shares in a company that twice last week didn't have one bid on the L2. People can't give their shares away, we are all a bunch of bagholders over there.
As for AAVG, I've been saying for months that these guys had everything going for them and blew it. The problems that put them in the position they are in now were cause by no one but them, Gamber especially.
Think about it, what is Avstar? Without Twin Air and the Maint. Facility, Avstar is nothing.
Well then if you think some of us are being less than truthful about events at Avstar and you seem to have some connection with them that they provide you with more info than others, maybe you could contact Gamber and have him address shareholders. It would take probably 30 minutes out of his day (he's certainly not busy taking phone calls). Doesn't seem like too much to ask of him.
When Gamber et al come forward with accurate information, then maybe the doom and gloom will stop, but right now thats where everything points.
But remember, they do have about a 3% interest in some spent oil wells and interest in some hydrofracting sites, oh but wait.... they have started the process to ban hydrofracting there!
There are those free in flight peanuts!!
