It goes without saying that there is no COMPLETED, READY FOR SALE card. From the reliable PRs it is clearly understood to be in development and the testing process.
Upon its completion it is very likely to be in the market for sale .
I should have been more clear: when The Card is complete and available for sale.
Any comments on shares you own or owned?? You are a shareholder!!
Potts you know I don't agree with that.
I wonder how many shares LNM owns of SMME. or did own at one time.
Wrong about Chaya...
Wrong about me...
Wrong about The Card...
NOT a record to be proud of.
I'll take that bet. :)
Obviously there are believers...you over state your opinion
Some people don't understand the legal consequences of putting out false statements.
DO YOUR OWN DD
Some just don't believe you.
DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE
I can access the weekly talk update. However there was mention of a newsletter. How do I access it?
Was there one last week....I didn't see anything posted on the Cytta website
I did too. He also mentioned keeping the shares within Cytta.
Might be nice to distribute the royalties as cash dividends
Any distribution would probably be based on Cytta shares owned.
I also recall a comment Gary made indicating such an action was not definite but a consideration
I vote for no shareholder distribution of Reticulate Micro shares. I hope they remain within Cytta. Such will add to the value of our Cytta shares.
Your altruism is appreciated by all who care
No doubt more clarity could be given on the issues mentioned in the PR's published over the decades--though it seems some clarity in The Card's development is given in recent PRs.
Every shareholder would like to hear and read more about the progress of The Card--why decisions made are no longer valid; what tests need to be performed on The Card; what issues need to be addressed in the European/South American market to bring The Card to its market that are different from the American market; how many card issuing banks have SMME talked with and what might be their interest in The Card; more information on the marking of the security card............ Maybe some day we will know why so many issues were left in the dark. Currently, I believe there is honesty put forth in the PRs and they show progress is being made in The Card's development, moving toward bringing it to market--though not fast enough for anyone's liking.
I'm not one to be concerned about Chaya's character and behavior, except as it affects the progress of The Card. I recall not too many years ago how a large Wall Street firm was encouraging its clients to buy a particular stock while at the same time they were selling their shares in the company. Perhaps the expectation of a responsible commercial world is unrealistic. It is not too difficult to believe that the fulfillment of one's dream and the hard work put into its realization might influence one's reactions, comments and decisions made regarding its progress. Greed, too, is an influencer, though I don't think it applies to Chaya.
My comments regarding SMME's PRs do little to influence Chaya's release of information. Also, there are certainly enough contrary comments on this board to "balance" any positive comments made by me or other hopeful investors.
All comments expressed here are only opinions. It is unfortunate that some commentators share their opinions with such anger, hatred and vitriol. It is my belief that were more clear, frequent and specific information shared regarding The Card perhaps the comments made here would be less divisive.
One day we will see the truth of SMME more clearly....I'm hoping it is very soon.
I guess you won't be coming to the party....
I and a couple of hundred others have done our DD in this company. It appears, though, that we have concluded differently about investing in SMME. It is true, too, that it is not just individuals who have concluded from their DD that SMME is worthy of investing in. Let's not forget the number of money institutions that have also invested in SMME some time back--organizations who do not throw their money wastefully away. Organizations that do a deep dive (DD) into the company, management and the product, before making their investment and without a doubt have seen more of what is to come than we have been privy to.
Constantly sharing your insight, however, regarding the opinion you have in SMME based on your DD is heard loudly and clearly.
Anything else you want to say about SMME besides it being a scam; that there is no card; and no sales have yet to exist? The readers on this site are aware of the conclusion you have come to having done your DD?
Mate, it is nice to be able to correspond with someone who shares facts and history, rather than someone who angrily spews trash talk without substance.
You and I go back a long way--decades--long before you turned to "the Dark Side". :}
One cannot dispute the written statements you mention. They are there in print for all to see. Our differences lie in the understanding of the situation at the time those statements were made as well as the results or lack of results of what has been stated in the PRs throughout SMME's history.
Having been educated in and had a bit of experience in the business world I am aware that decisions are made and money is committed towards those decisions. There are times, however, when new information comes forth which causes more meetings to take place to reevaluate the decisions made, often times resulting in a change of direction and a new and different decision being made. Such reevaluations are made in all areas of development of a product or event--engineering included. In all cases, but especially in areas of developing something totally new and unknown, education takes place. In the process of developing an unknown product one enters unexplored areas in the product development requiring reevaluation of decisions and direction. One cannot enter an area of new and untouched development with knowledge of all aspects required to succeed in its development.
I believe this is the case in the history of SMME. I believe the statements you present were truthful at the time they were made. With new information presented to the developers of The Card a new and different direction in its development was required.
There are others who tend to see a purposeful misrepresentation in those past public statements. I totally disagree. Change in direction is life in the world of business--especially in developing a new product.
It must also be said that The Card spoken of back then is a far cry from what is being described today. I recall how a cardholder back then would need a charger in their home to be able to recharge The Card for use. Not so today. Progress has been made in the development of The Card--all of which has been stated along the way. Many new elements have been added to The Card of today vs the card back then, all which reasonably take money and time to accomplish.
I am also aware that apart from the statements made regarding the development of The Card, there were statements made about the marketing and distribution of The Card. That such was imminent. It is not for us to know why such statements were made. We'll have to wait for the book to come out to know.
There is a false belief that "truth" must be stated in governmental statements, but lies or purposeful misrepresentation of a product's progress may be stated in public release statements. Legally, whether in public statements or government required forms "truth" must be told. If there is misrepresentation of the company's progress in either kind of statements it is considered fraud and punishable as a crime.
We long timers, a long with Chaya, know a frustration in our SMME investment I've not experienced in my 50 plus years of investing. Decades ago I had hoped and truly believed that my SMME investment would reward me to the extent I would live a long, comfortable and enjoyable life. Being in my 70s now I am still hopeful that I will experience such a life--though apparently it will not last as long as I had earlier thought.
What we believe is based on our perception of the "facts". How one perceives the SMME PR statements of the past determines how we perceive the current SMME PR statements. I will still hold on to the hope of a better life because of my SMME investment, I also hope I'm not running out of time to enjoy it. :)
Just reread the 10/16 PR . What is nearly ready to ship if not the card.
Has the future arrived?
Believing there is no card now does not mean there won't be a card later.
Investing in a development company is an investment in the future.
When there is a card do you really believe the PPS will remain where it is
Mate the development of the elements of the card described in the PRs and 10-k are real and true. Were they not the SEC would shut SMME down and prosecute Chaya for fraud
The hope of believing investors is that sometime those elements will be combined in a useable credit/debit card and begin a marketing campaign for its sale.
The belief of some of those who scream There is No Card seems to be a misrepresentation on Chaya's part of the Card's progress.
We can agree that no significant number of finalized cards have been manufactured. Changes and improvements seem to be constant.
However the statements regarding its development must also be accepted as true giving hope of possible investment returns.
The PPS has nothing to do regarding the existence of the card. It is a reflection of the marketing and sales of the card.
There can be a card, but without sales the PPS will remain as is.
Legally that is not true.
No listed company on any public exchange in America is allowed to misrepresent itself whether in a PR or SEC document.
To believe that misrepresenting the company or its products publicly without legal consequences undermines the whole investment community.
Note too that the same document that states there is no card also includes progress statements regarding the card.
You cannot accept one statement from the 10-k and discount other statements in the same report.
That is why some still have hope that despite the timeline of bringing the card to market it is probable.
Note question mark at end of sentence
No accusation here...it's a question
Some clarity please...are you saying Chaya stated in the 10-K (a government form as well as a public publication ) that there is no card to avoid criminal charges?
Understanding the meaning of a word and applying it to a particular issue or situation are totally different
Inhale Deep breaths through your nose..
Exhale through your mouth...relax.
Sleep well my altruistic friend
Anger screams from your comments...name calling, constant criticism, lack of civility, repetition of comments...all because there are those who don't believe what you think.
You may have a personality complex...narcissism. (Now that's a big word)
If you consider four (4) letter words big words my heart aches for you.
Don't see you using any big words...
I think some. anger management sessions are in your future.
Do you sleep well at night?
All communications classes will teach: when your opponent calls you names they know they are losing the argument. Name calling is a form of anger and frustration.
Are you capable of sharing your thoughts and opinions without calling others names?
The statement you reference is as of the date of the annual report--June, 2023--not the date of the reports release.
Reading further we are told of The Card's progress in its final development--moviing it toward bringing it to market--as well as the other parties involved in making it happen.
To read the statement you reference as being current with the date of the release of the report is to take it out of context.
It would also be criminal to say what is said in the report. Such false statements of fact would have the SEC all over Chaya. What good would all those "millions " people claim she made do her then?
Thanks for the information. I've been unable to connect with the weekly newsletter report via the Cytta website. Any summary of them will be appreciated.
Thanks...will the newsletter be posted on the website or sent to my email?
