CHILL MY FELLOW BOARD MEMBERS We are all in this together.
To your point SALVE...did you say Postal got $500,000 or even $50,000 ?
No you said $5,000.
In my opinion, I don't agree with your point that the company did all this scheming, plotting, sneaky stuff and government fiings (which cost money to draw up the paperwork and file).
They did all this so Postal could get $5,000 ? Give me a break. I am not buying it.
I believe share holders sold stock because they needed the money, wanted to diversify a little, got frustrated and tired of waiting or were hoping for more outstanding news from the conference call.
This is what drove down the price downward.
The company leadership has brought this ship about. They have turned massive losses to many consecutive quarters of record breaking profits.
We would have had another $500,000 profit last quarter, but the company
now has to pay taxes on the money it makes. This is due to the past losses the company wrote off on the company's tax returns.
This is a positive thing because it shows any future investors that the company is making money and not losing money.
The Postal situation we have been talking about, I believe it is a positive move.
It shows the company has gotten off its books about $250,000 in debt.
It also shows an insider has belief in the company going forward by accepting shares from the company in exchange.
Postal is in this to make money just like the rest of us, so he increased his share holdings.
Mental Note for the Company- The companies past CEO Howard Ullman knew how to put out Headlines to promote our stock, especially when big storms where going to hit the country.
I know the current CEO doesn't want to put out fluff headlines but
their should be a fair balance from not putting out headlines to overstating headlines.
By the way was there a big headline when Capstone decided to retire the stock buyback of 1.66 Million shares ? If their wasn't there should have been.
All the possible headlines and promotions all add up by pushing the stock price upwards each time. These are missed opportunities. WHY ?
A follow up to my last post,
We know Stewart has hinted at...
1. Broadening the company's products and sales channels, even to international markets.
2. Leasing/ Licensing out its patented technology.
3. Teaming up with another company.
4. Acquisitions
5. Smart home/house technology
HMMM...CURIOUS
The conference call was short no questions answered at this time.
Usually this happens with a company for 2 reasons.
1. Was the quarter horrible and the company didn't want to face the music? ... NO that is not it. The reporting 2nd quarter was great with another record 2nd quarter in earnings.
2. Most likely "things are in the works" and Stewart and company
don't want to be pressed to tip its hat on what Capstone is
doing before the company is ready to announce it.
These are my thoughts with over 20 years experience in stocks.
TO CAPSTONE- SURPRISE US ....Announce in the morning...
?? MONDAY AFTER CLOSE ???
Why has capstone been announcing earnings after the close of the day, as they have done in the past?
ANNOUNCE in the morning before or right after the opening bell.
The stock price can have a big jump during that day,
When they announce after the stock market closes then by the time the next day's morning comes, with the opening of the stock market, the "BIG NEWS"
and excitement has tapered off by then.
My opinion is they should announce in the morning from now on.
EXACTLY ,
???? The thinking man(person) would say why would someone sell in a fundamentally sound, upward shooting company?
Why would some stock holders sell when the company is going on record profitable quarters to come this year and next year as well?
To me its ... because they needed the money... for other personal reasons.
These sellers will slowly dissipate leaving buyers at todays prices setting a new cost basis from which they will look to make a huge profit.
My opinion....
Proof is in the pudding...Words can indeed be cheap rvd. You sre right about that, I have heard plenty in my life.
We will see what happens to Capstone. So far Wallach has come through in building the company. There have been bumps in the road
but Wallach's overall trajectory has been upwards!
International sales seems like that's in an upward trajectory as well.
Like I said I like my holdings in my tax free Roth IRA with this stock.
I was just looking at the volume chart.
Did someone or some company just buy almost 80,000 shares....
"GIANT" Remember when Stuart our CEO, said he wanted to make Capstone a "giant" in the sharply growing LED lighting Industry?
Seems like Capstone is on its International sales push to make Capstone a "giant"
Maybe people shouldn't have sold their stock. I sure didn't.
CREE a large LED company is at $25.93
I am in this for the log haul. I even have a large holding of CAPC stock in my tax free Roth IRA.
Capstone is probably looking to acquire some company that produces
products where Capstone can use its manufacturing abilities in China
along with its retail store connections.
Mike...You are too funny...lol
Running Bull, That sounds good to me !
A big part of the answer to the question why isn't the stock a lot higher right now....In my opinion is... a big part of it is the sellers.
The sellers keep the price down, for now anyways.
Like I said before a lot of stock was purchased for the equivalent of about .15 (.01 price pre reverse split )
These sellers are selling to make a profit with the stock now in the .44 to .50 range.
The buyers buying at .45 to .50 are now looking to make a big profit
from how great the company is performing now.
In my opinion the current sellers who bought at .15 and are now selling are dwindling with all the new buyers and higher volume.
This bodes well for higher stock prices to come, IMO
Don't forget when the company needs quick cash in the form of a loan
to quickly maneuver business wise, iT is great to have people inside the company willing and able to loan big money.
It benefits both ways as well. The company and the personal loan at a good percentage return for the person lending.
WHAT are people talking about? Generators and roofing tiles?
Are you kidding me ??
That was over a decade ago when the company had a different name and a different person running the company.
Stewart has shown to be a wise and savvy businessman even before he ran Capstone.
Profit of 2.8 million in 2016 and even higher in 2017.
No one can argue Stewart hasn't done a super job with this company.
Salve- hmmm I am trying to figure you out. At times you say positive things then at times you come out with the hate, even when it seems unjustified in the totality of the companies conference call.
I haven't read you on the board for a while. I figured when you did re-surface it would be the hate negativity. And just as I thought you did.
I am thinking that you might be trying to drive down price so you can pick up more stock at cheaper price. Can't say for sure though.
You knock the bulbs and its arrival. Stewart said they are on the water being shipped. Stewart has never been one to overhype.
Also where is Lyfelight bulbs being sold? Our bulbs will be in the big box stores. I would think hands down capstone will be selling the most bulbs with all their channels, even international channels.
Then there is all the other great news that came out as well with the conference call. All arrows right now point upwards.
Just playing the devils advocate with Salve thats all.
Yes I believe you are correct Uranium.
There are also people who have been wanting to sell for their
own reasons and were waiting for a bump in price with volume to sell into.
The good news is there are people also buying from the sellers at a new cost basis of .45 to .50 from which they are looking to and will, in my opinion, quadruple their money.
Been there with you since CBQI as well, good luck to us all!
You are correct rvd! I remember that day...
I know the stock price is very frustrating to all stock holders, especially the very long term stock holders.
I look at a couple of things for future higher stock prices.
There was a lot of stock purchased at sub penny to just over 1 penny
(pre reverse split price) before all Capstones success. A lot of the stock purchased then are most likely what is being sold now, making a profit.
All the stock that is being purchased now in the .40 to .48 range is now the new cost basis from where the purchasers of the stock will be looking to make a profit. This points to higher stock prices.
Then there is the constant string of steady good news and profitable quarters that management has put together. This positive direction can also be seen going forward with our Capstone company.
I know it is hard at tomes but KEEP THE FAITH !
LOL
I think I should have made it CBQI, that's how long I have been in the company.
Hopefully 2017 will be our year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL CAPC INVESTORS!!
Your right in hoping Mike, I am right there with you.
Hey..Someone must of heard you about volume. Did you notice the flurry of volume at the end of the day? lol
Yes we do need more volume.
The bulbs and vanity lights are indeed slow to get out.
I am hoping his reworked/redesigned bulb is price competitive like he states and I am still waiting to see what company Stewart partners up with, as he hinted.
In the end results count not talk. Then hopefully we will all be in the promised land.
Meanwhile I am still waiting....
Have a great new year!
I believe Stewarts comments of doubling revenue of $25 Million in 2016 to $50 million in 2017 was in a previous CC possibly Q2 call.
Others as well have commented on the doubling of revenues on this board in the past.
Thanks for the additional info about 2016 Q4 estimates.
Also I am waiting as well for stock price and volume to go up.
Didn't Stewart state he estimated this years total revenue of at least $25 million and expected to at least double revenues in 2017.
Well we went past $25 Million and will end the year about .07 profit per share. If we double in 2017 does that not give us an estimate of .14 per share for 2017?
Yes it would be a good time to but back stock, especially were some investors are selling here at year end to possibly offset some capital gains
If at some point you choose to sell, can the company buy direct from you in a private purchase?
The company has stated they are looking to buy $750,000 in shares.
Just wondering??
No one is looking to censor the board. No one also needs to bash the stock for bashing sake because they are out of the stock.
No bias is needed on this stock either.
The company either performs as Stewart has stated for next year to double revenues or the company doesn't. That simple.
So far we know Stewart to be conservative in his estimates and he has delivered the past estimates on revenue and growth.
Theory. My thinking is that a lot of stock was purchased sub 1 cent to 1 Cent plus. (pre split). Now .15 post split.
The stock is currently priced 3 times above that level now at .45+
There are purchasers of the stock who bought low and are now selling and taking the profit.
There are also sellers who need the money for other reasons who are selling as well.
There are current buyers of the stock who want the stock and are putting in low bids to these past purchasers of 1 cent (.15 post split)who are now sellers at .45 to .50
What is occurring now? A lot of stock being purchased is at the .45 to .50 cents per share level.
.45 to .50 is now becoming the new cost basis of a lot of Capstone stock as opposed to the old .15 ( .01 presplit)
In the end this bows well for a foundation for which the stock will build upward from this new cost basis of .45 to .50
If and When they do partner with a bigger player, the news will come out just out of the blue.
We most likely have all seen stocks just sky rocket in a day/week's time when news breaks.
This is all my opinion.
I hope capstone, if they do partner or license this technology,
will look beyond lighting with this patented technology in their contracted agreements.
I wouldn't want a bigger player expanding the scope of Capstone's patented technology and not having Capstone get their fair share because of some contract loop hole.
I wouldn't want Capstone to miss out because the contract language
wasn't specific enough to encompass all uses of the lighting or expanded scope of its patented technology.
I hope Capstone reads our board.
Yes, Yes and Yes...I am in agreement with you all on Capstone working with bigger players in the lighting industry.
Stewart also brought this up in the last CC 3months ago.
We are talking this technology being used not just in a regular light bulb but also in commercial lighting as well.
I AM SURE THE BRIGHT MINDS THAT BE...can even think of other ways this patented technology can be used beyond lighting alone.
Right on Uranium, My sentiments exactly as I have previously posted.
Charts look super! Thanks for updating them Townie....
This is very true.
Also people who are complaining or impatient or did not want the reverse split have to realize we are up 45% since the reverse split a few months ago.
Uranium I am right with you!! With next years projected revenue
I myself am looking for $4 plus next year minimum.
Any news on the possible licensing of the power failure technology and the smart home technology Capstone is moving forward on. Stewart talked about both at the last conference call.
