I received a PM stating if I'm disgusted with this company I should sell. I'm not disgusted with the company. Made up my mind years ago I'll either make a few dollars or lose my investment. What disgusts me is reading pumps that the Forbes piece was extremely positive on USGL. It was no such thing. Somewhat negative, really. I've learned to read well. Like I've said before - give significant success, not significant plans.
Oh, as an over 10 year investor (bought in at $0.10 and averaged down well, how many times in those 240 months have I heard on this board "now is the time to buy"? The time to buy is when there is significant happenings, not significant plans. Jeezz.
Hey dog. Why are you banging on me. I'm just speaking to the Forbes message. All the points I made where in the Forbes thing. Why do I have to have been there since 1959? Has nothing to do with what was stated by Forbes. I'm really worried about some here that can't seem to read well, but maybe ill focused by there pumpability.
I already replied to the yahoo of the Forbes coverage. Great to be noticed by the mainstream media. 1. Few if any airline startups make it. 2. Stewart is so far off the path and hard to get to. 3. Three major airlines are already servicing USGLs planned destinations. One out of philly dropped out of the mix due to losing money. ALL IN THE FORBES PIECE. Where is the positive in this piece? Oh, I'm sorry, must not be negative on this board. Ten year plus investor here. Give me something other than pump,
You got it. Positive pumps but nothing else. Article in Forbes is great to get us noticed mainstream, but where was that great news? Starts of by stating new airlines almost Never are successful. Getting to Stewart is very difficult to get to and then talks about three Major Airlines servicing Paris and Tel Aviv from JFK and Newark. And don't forget Philly dropped Tel Aviv for losing money. What am I missing? I'm sure I'll be told all those things from the pumpers, can't wait. But it's good to get noticed in Forbes.
it closed at .0081. what did you miss?
Guess we missed $0.01 today. Why?
"Yeah, I called them so there!" Who, when, what said?
To refute something means to delineate the reasons. To just brush aside the subject as "it doesn't makes sense" is nothing I learned in the many logic courses I have suffered through. But as I said the pumpers will attack anything negative. I am Pro Baltia/USGL or whatever. I am probably one of maybe 5% of the members here who bought in way back at $0.10. Any of you remember? Sold at $0.07 took that loss for taxes. Bought with that money in my ROTH IRA. And now I'm less that 0.018. At 77 years old I have my retirement very nicely thank you. If I get the big $ in this it is for my 9 grandkids. So for those of you who think I'm a potted plant, sorry.
Do you have any evidence that they did? Didn't think so.
Thanks. That's what I missed. And Robo was right. Today is Apr 27th.
Have I missed it or is the ASM still scheduled for 'on or about' 11 may? Noticed some have made reservations for trip, lodging, etc.
Excellent find, loverboy. Couple weeks ago I posted some same objections to Baltia going to Stewart. Who will fly from Dayton, OH to JFK, gets bags and shuttle out to Stewart to get non-stop to eastern Europe? That's hardly any different than a plane change in Western Europe to get to Eastern Europe. I'm a long time investor, not a pumper nor basher.
I like many others on this site hits the wrong key.
Finally something solid about the new airline. Maybe some pax but mostly cargo out of Seward. Competition DLA, UPS, FedEx. Sure they'll blow them all away, unless they have non-stop cities in Eastern Europe. Guess I thought we were a Major Airlines. DUH.
I guess many have missed my point about Seward. Don't care how long the runway is. I am or anyone believe that ALL U.S. airlines now with a few if any pax wanting to go to Eastern Europe with US Global will now vector into Seward? Getting from those other Major airports will make travel more difficult. Gather bags, get shuttle, or cabs, etc. to get to Seward. what are you or I missing?
So you believe that All/Most US airlines will start supporting flights from around the US to Seward? How big is the airport? Like JFK? don't think so. So what does the rest of America do to get a Flight to Seward? None of it makes sense to me. JFK was the Hub I was counting on.
I landed at Seward AFB in 1959 taking hops from California on my re-assignment to France. A LI RR to Grand Central Station and a bus to home for leave in Scranton, PA. Can't wait to see US Global's destinations from Seward. Global indicates international. Eastern Europe non-stop was my hook to Baltia. No more need to fly from anywhere in US to major hubs, fly to London, Paris, Frankfort and others before getting to Eastern Europe cities. So if Europe is still in play for US Global will fly from all over the Country to LaGuardia, JFK, Newark and then get your bags and get to Seward International Airport. That'll be fun, unless all pax's are from Manhattan or Long Island.
my take again on the 'on or about' date. If on the 18th of April they still don't know the date, place, room and time of the ASM it make real investors shaking their heads and wallets.
I have some 40 plus entity holding. I get annual info on stockholder meeting. Get some months ahead of the scheduled date, place, time and hour. No legalized 'on or about'.
Seems to me we are talking about a stockholders meeting, not a tort or suit. Geeze
Back to "on or about, May 11th". They can't plan a specific date four weeks away? Just asking.
I have been in this longer than most of the bloggers here. Heard all the pluses and minus from the pumpers and the dumpers. WTF. No one knows what's happening. If you tried to convince us you are in the know, then tells HOW. It will or will not happen but tell us WHY you know so? so tired of all the 'i'm in the know' not you.
why can]t we just sit back and wait and see. no let just put are no sense inputs. it will or it will not. go to bed.
Gosh, we don't even have funding nor an A/C and already we are into the eastern European cities. Wow, this new management team is terrific. Call me when we hear of funding, then again after we get an A/C.
I'm not part of this in-crowd. I originally bought into baltia at $0.10. Not sure how many of you knew them at that pps. Wish I didn't, but I averaged down and my last buy was the Friday before the 8th mini-evac scheduled for the following Tuesday evening. I doubled my position based on the post from the august whale who's position was around three-quarters of a Billions shares, who was emphatic that the test was a 100%er.
Well we all know where that went. I have stayed my position. Could have averaged down considerably more. But I have stayed 'PATIENT'.
There is only one thing anyone knows who posts here is that they don't know anything. Hype, Hope, Love, and Oh Gosh is not DD. One can not do DD when there is no info to do DD from. "I know someone, who knows someone, who collects garbage at the office shredder" is not DD.
Baltia will announce something that they can legally do so. An announcement that "we are working hard to get funding and leasing an aircraft" is meaningless and in my opinion is illegal hyping of the PPS. Comments?
It's disingenuous to suggest others to buy to increase PPS when one is not able/willing to purchase him/herself.
Just what is the "look" that you see?
When will the SEC de-certify this company? Tired of investors spending $20 to keep a volume going. Let's move on.
Why do we need the Company to give us info. We have Spec and Monroe to keep us updated on the viability of Baltia.
If the SEC pulled the plug on Blta would they publish that? 20K shares at the opening bell, then nothing rest of the day. Seems strange or maybe not.
Looks like trading has been stopped after the opening. 20K shares traded. RIP
how many shares does he own 9/19/16?
Just wonder how many of the nearly 1B shares the major "whale" unloaded since July 2015? Don't see much insider selling being listed. Can anyone find out?
I'd like to know what anyone on this board could do to help this company other than pump it on what?
Just look at the volume. The whales are unloading and the minnows are biting. gotta love em.
They won't BK until the whales unloading will not find any more buyers. Still can't understand the buyers. Do they think they know something or just can't pass up amassing large amounts of shares for pennies?
But who's buying?
I just wish the end would come soon so I can put this episode behind me. Only pinkie I have in my portfolio and will take my $11K loss as a lesson. Would also be nice to take this site off my 'favorites' list. At some point all life support tubes should be pulled. Cheers.
With all the info on this failing company who are those buying over 4 million shares from those selling over 4 million shares. Better yet Why? Because they are cheap? No plane, no money, no phones, no office, no route, no FAA support. Don't know, don't get it.
