Yep. This has been said for the past 8 years. Hilarious.
Yep that have to get permission from EPGL which won't happen they have told us...
What If a Dispute Arises Over Whether I Can Remove the Legend?
If a dispute arises about whether a restrictive legend can be removed, the SEC will not intervene. Removal of a legend is a matter solely in the discretion of the issuer of the securities. State law, not federal law, covers disputes about the removal of legends. Thus, the SEC will not take action in any decision or dispute about removing a restrictive legend.
They aren't gagged. That isn't their role.

Read how restricted shares are sold and the rules. It would take forever!!!! And wouldn't really affect the price.
The shares are still restricted in how they are sold. It would be impossible to sell that amount of shares in a reasonable time period.
It literally would have no impact.
It wouldn't change the pps at all. The shares they hold can't be sold into the market. Reducing them would do nothing.
That's not a great fix. What you want is a buyout and that is what they are working on. Look things are taking longer than they thought, we thought, etc....just have to wait.
Doubt it. I think EPGL's and Hayes intentions are pure.
Here's the deal. Either they are building the business and trying to get shareholders a buyout or they are bleeding the pps down to allow a lesser buyout which would actually be horrible for shareholders. They have real tech and patents. So I trust they are trying to do right by the shareholders.
It will be to our benefit in the end.
There's a lot more than that. He only gave 1-2 hour notice on the call. Not everyone knew about it.
The pps does matter. The lower it goes the more uncertainty it creates for investors.
We don't know when or if it will take off. I know they are working on things, but other than a couple new patents which are amazing we are at the same place we have been for the last 3-4 years. Talking to big companies who have interest. Must not be as much interest as we all hoped. Truth is truth. I think EPGL will one day be successful, but I don't think that is in the near future. You can hear it in Michael's voice on the conference call. They are progressing but are still years away from a deal and even more years away from the product hitting the market. Theses things take time.
That's what we need to realize it's still 2-5 years away. Thats a realistic time period. Things could happen faster than that for sure, but as things have gone we can assume they will continue at a similar pace so we are still very far from the finish line.
Yep. Exactly. Haha.
The best will be when it goes private! Inwith taking EPGL private will be fun to be a part of.
Absolutely. It's been fun this far to see how far they have come. Even though it has taken longer than they have hoped and we have hoped it is going to be worth it. Go EPGL!
Thanks so much! Interesting.
That's what I have been hanging my hat on is long term success.
If that is what EPGL has become is a vehicle for playing the market and riding the waves of share price that's when I start to lose interest.
I still haven't sold a share since 2009 yet you are saying we should all be selling and then accumulating lower? Then we are destined for the double zero range again.
I have shown in posts that it can take 10 years for companies to exit startup mode and become profitable. So another 5 years is pretty average.
It is to build a company and build groundbreaking tech.
I don't think the patents awarded are blah. I don't think getting their tech back from Coopervision was Blah. They are a startup company developing brand new tech. These things take time.
I think if there was something to update us on he would. Seems like there is nothing new yet. No patent updates, no funding updates, etc. Seems like they are expecting things anytime but they haven't happened yet. That's my take.
Of course they are concerned. Every company is concerned about disruptive technologies. It would be irresponsible to not be concerned.
Pretty sure there is a real lens on their website showing flexible electronics in a lens.
Exactly not to mention having a bulky square shaped foreign object in your eye. Talk about awesome. Haha.
EPGLs name is not Omega. Omega defines a shape. The word has been used since the beginning of time and will until the end. As it should.
Omega describes the shape of the autofocus function.
Also Omega Ophthalmics should be a little concerned that EPGL has a lens that doesn't require surgery to use. May limit their products usefulness.
Haha. This technology has to be embedded into the eye. This is not the same. Too funny.
Maybe but these are pretty specialized and detailed patents.
The problem with that train of thought is the actual patents and technology. Frauds don't last this long nor do they take the time or pay then money to file all the patents. Nor do frauds file patents with Coopervision. The issue is the technology is before it's time and they are trying to develop on their own and raise funding.
Hayes could have ended this long ago by letting EPGL go bankrupt. Dude is trying to build a company not take take advantage of shareholders. Eventually things will come together and work out. That's what all us are waiting for.
And you mentioned there were others that had this offer as well? How many that you know of?
What was the price at when you where offered the shares and how long ago was this?
So they offered him restricted shares as an oversea consultant? Did he pay for the shares or were they given in exchange for something? What price was he offered the shares at?
Did you? Can you sell your shares?
Uh yes they can lose. No one would do that.
20 Million restricted for 1 year.
Because the time is getting closer. EPGL is at a pivotal point where if a few things happen this should fly. We have been waiting for this for years and we are finally at that point where it could happen any day.
Are you talking about Jobs and Wozniak? The founders of apple? Sure sounds like it. Amazing what can happen with just two guys and a vision of the future.
Sounds good. Good luck. Only get a chance on a stock like this once.
It was just at .05 why didn't you sell?
Could be. Seems like things are coming together. Should be pretty fun for the next 8 weeks.
That wasn't exactly what he said. Nice paraphrasing.
