Welcome back!! You were missed.
Well, it’s probably a fair assumption that the subs are doing great. My last conversation with Michael was more about companies in general than in FNDM. One of the things I asked him was what options a company has when its subs are doing great and yet the parent company needs more money to run on. He said that when that is the case the parent company becomes attractive to other companies for a merger, or they do a private placement. I don't think any of us see a private placement in a crystal ball.
NYPD, if you've been shorting this stock I can understand the reasons for the tone of your posts - but not if you are long. The delays and silence, to me, are more than off-set by the poitives. We don't know for a fact that there will be more delays any more than we know definitively that this week will be the ONE... but it may.
What needs to happen
will happen when the time is right. We can gain insight looking back, or a sore neck - it all depends on how its done (are you listening Blue?:) Looking forward to the days ahead, or weeks or months if that is what needs to be. Hope you all had a safe and happy Holiday season.
"Hear, hear!" Cheers!!
Happy New Year, everyone!
The Merriest of Christmases to you, Mr. Millions, and to you Inopsy and PM071 and all longs! Thank you for bringing fndm to us. Its been a lot of fun. We have an incredibly lot to look forward to and be grateful for in the New Year!! All the Best to everyone!!!!
and a good night to you too! :)
Yes we are all beyond ready to get this thing in gear, but Ondariis, I hope no one new comes on this board wondering if they should buy while you are posting your frustrations!!!:) If they are not familiar with the stock you could frighten them away before they do their own research!! That research would bring them on board as an investor, just as it brought you and the rest of us on board. And it would keep them here, just as it has kept us here.
I am convinced and comfortable that our patience will be more than rewarded. I do not think that FNDM CFO Michael Hlavsa has lied to me or anyone else when he has repeatedly said that he cannot divulge any information at this time due to SEC rules. He did say that Weston and Advisor Shares are doing great, but could not comment at this time on any of these exciting theories making their way around the blogs as to the parent comany, fund.com. I know its hard not to vent, though...
All the best,
Ana
Odnariis, I hope this finalizes before you leave for your vacation. The celebrations just wouldn't be the same without you here!!
got to leave the computer. Be interesting to see what transpired when I get home later today.
Any shorts out there?
...shorts should start to get a bit worried ;)
HI Molybucks!!!!!
Look at that bid and ask!
I feel it too. There is a new day beginning...
Its not just in the charts
I can feel it in the air
Hi Chris, just a thought here. In the past a company could issue one grand news release and the stock price would continue to rise on it for months. As you know, that is not the case now! Investors have been burned and are cautious and have very short attention spans now. I've noticed more and more that companies pace their announcements so as to keep a steady stream of attractive information and positive news before the investor. I am just speculating, but I would imagine that this might possibly be the case here. The company most likely wants to keep a news feed flowing so as to keep interest at a peak level during this formative time. Just a thought, though, don't really know...
I am so glad! :)
I did not say that I did not ask him about fund's reverse split or anything else. Remember, he is under sec rules and cannot diverge any information while anything is going on that sec mandates that he cannot speak of. We cannot and should not expect to be told anything right now.
Ondariis, you have endeared yourself to a lot of us. Please don't do something at the 11th hour that you will regret.
Ummm...let me think...
Yes I agree. What an interesting company. I wonder what else they are about to acquire?? I spoke to the Gerova CFO, Michael Hlavsa, a few days ago about Gerova's reverse split. He said it was done to position the company's stock price at a level which would be attractive to institutional buyers who often do not look at stocks whose prices are in the single digits (Gerova had been at 6.00 prior to the reverse split).
By the way, the fund.com website has a new (to me) pop-up questionnaire that invites one to participate in a survey exploring the type of content one would be interested in seeing on the website in the future. I participated this evening and am wondering if any of you have too. It had been awhile since I was last at the website, so the questionnaire was new to me.
Inopsy, I too join pm071 in thanking you for your informative posts! It is important to continue to look at facts which can be drawn from that which is public information and I thank you and others, including this board’s moderator, for keeping those facts before us. They are strong. There is a lot of speculation as to what is going on and yet it is good, for a moment, to put conjecture aside and consider the company on its own known merits. So thank you to all of you who have taken the time to post.
Sending all the best to all of you! I do think it will be a good Christmas!!!
...remember the darkest hour preceeds the dawn. Just a hunch, but hopefully these next few weeks will prove happy ones for us all.
Hi Ondaris, there are lots of us left. We just don't post often!
Hello everybody. Great to see this board, Mr. Millions! I agree that this could be something big. Not just Ortsbo, which could be huge, in Europe and Asia as well as here – but also Itibiti and possibly most of all – Ad Taffy. These are unique products, nobody else is offering them, and they are being rolled out to a market which has not yet been cornered.
I was able to speak with the CEO twice a week or so ago, and was very impressed with him. The main thing I brought away from the conversations was the conviction that management has a very well thought out and detailed game plan for each sub that includes specific steps and important alliances - and that they have been carrying out this game plan with astonishing success. i was very excited to learn that to market these new products, they will be working with the PR firms that promoted skype and Groupon, which is, as you probably all know, the fastest growing internet company in the US.
You added that many?! Strong nerves you have there, friend!!:) I had 51,000 shares before lightening up a few weeks ago, but I bought in at 1.00 - 1.12 so felt it prudent to trim back. Content to hold the balance, though, and will pick up more if it goes lower and we get good guidance from the company.
Hi JB, just venting. I was aware of the PP but not through the company. I had, I thought, signed up for the information packet and emails, but never received them. I should have followed up. Glad to know that they did send the PP alert to investors who had signed up. Thanks for posting that. I lightened up on my shares awhile back but still have a strong position.
It was not very gentlemanly of Chuck Provini or professional of the company to tell one investor of the private placement and not all via a press release. Not all investors know of, or follow, this board.
Mr. Millions - I've been going onto your http://thetradersdigestblogspot.com/ site, but it just occurred to me that I haven't been signing in to the Google account I set up the first time when I hit the site's "follow" button. Wonder how many of us are forgetting to sign in. Your advertisers probably don't see any but the signed-in hits, is that right? We want to keep your advertizers happy! :)
Well I've been long on this for longer than I can remember. I got in between .08 and .12 pre reverse split. We don't know that there will or will not be a merger, but the dots, when connected, certainly look like there could be one in the works. Still nothing official to base that conjecture on, however.
The finalization of the Vensure deacquisition is huge, as that it wss such a cash drain. I can only imagin what a headache it was to represent the deacquisition on the books. Maybe now we will hear something in regard to news from this company. Maybe they will even answer their phone calls. Or not.
13 days after the law goes into full effect, but I'm not certain when that was/is.
Well, either way, with these new shorting laws the price should go up once shorts have to cover.
I too had a sell order at a high price ($120)- just got home and see that mine, too, has been cancelled, but only with my online brokeridge account with T.D. Ameritrade. The high sell I have with Wells Fargo (same price)still shows as open.
A few of you have mentioned that any company on one of the larger boards would never go this long without giving a press release re a merger et al. However, the reason for this is the fact that the larger boards have specific rules mandating press releases. Would be nice if fndm management had better manners, but still, I'm not at the panic button. This is an excercise in patience, though.
Ya'll quit fussin'... :)
Chewbaka - just scrolled down to cartoon - LOLOL.
Missed it first time. Now that is funny. FUNDM management needs to see this! LOL
...also jubulent, ecstatic, soon to be running through the streets shouting WAHOOO...
Yes, Cheers, my friend!
Also, Michael's name is not spelled "Lamsa" - it is "Hlavsa", and he is CFO of both Fund.com and Gerova.
