Thank you for posting your chart. I believe it gives a good "chart" perspective to anyone invested, or looking to invest in the long-term potential of CTIX.
Also, thanks to TOB for the beautiful short/mid term charts and analysis, as well as the mindful posts regarding trading with emotions, ect.
Glad to be riding this puppy with both of you.
Whatever the motive,
be it good, bad, or completely neutral in nature:
Nice call and impeccable timing. I am going to have to study up on Elliot Wave theory, it sounds interesting.
In my humble opinion, the best way to stay emotionally detached from investing/trading is to have a good plan, and to stick to it. Set limits down on paper and always leave yourself an out.
just a trade from earlier in the day being processed: ignore.
added here.
holding LONG position for clinical study results.
eom
This is a BUY and HOLD.
For me, that is.
As tempting as it is to trade it, especially with such great results in the past, I have decided to take a SEAT and HOLD down my LOT.
Wake me up 2H 2013 Zzzzzzzz :)
nice call on the open..
Kevetrin abstracts~
Kevetrin acting through both major pathways of tumor suppression, Rb-E2F and MDM2-p53, has far reaching consequences. Due to the complexity of proapoptotic and antiapoptotic pathways with multiple players involved and redundant signaling networks, blocking only one antiapoptotic factor may not result in robust antitumor activity. However, Kevetrin acts via multiple targets to produce potent efficacy in various xenograft tumor models. We have also demonstrated that Kevetrin is non-genotoxic. DNA damaging drugs result in rapid phosphorylation of H2A.X at Ser 139 by PI3K-like kinases; however, Kevetrin did not induce phosphorylation of H2A.X. Since Kevetrin was well-tolerated in GLP safety pharmacology and toxicity studies, we have submitted an IND application for a Phase I clinical trial at Dana Farber / Harvard Cancer Center for 2012.

-----------------------------------------------
Cellceutix chief executive Leo Ehrlich issued a statement noting that Merck, Roche and Sanofi are not yet in the clinical trial stage.
“The New York Times may have overlooked Cellceutix and [its drug] Kevetrin, but the organizations that are contacting us to host and sponsor clinical trials certainly have not,” Ehrlich said.
All of the drug companies are working on cancer drugs that would reactivate a protein called p53, sometimes called “the angel of death” because it triggers the destruction of badly damaged cells. Cancer cells disable p53, allowing them to multiply.

I have no idea.
To me, it stands for "this is a LONG term investment, based on the SCIENCE. This is NOT to be TRADED."
I have plenty of other tickers that make for good trades, this little guy is now a HOLD for the LONG term.
I'm comfortable with my average basis and ready to let her chill :)
Long. Locked. Loaded.
Add me to the 51.53 club, my basis is on-lock as a long term investment.
Okay, I set a net in the 1.20s just IN-CASE :)
1.20 SHOULD never happen
yet I've seen it happen SO many times, so....
Justin Bieber never say never, I'd be a buyer.
I have buys spread around 1.40/50s, would love to get in again in that range. We'll see, either way I'm content with my purchases there a couple days ago.
watch for a MM coming in buying big this PM.
Longs: Friendly Reminder
If you hold shares long, be sure to place a ridiculously high sell-order (GTC) just in case your broker is lending them out.
sounds similar to my trades up from $1.35
Believe it or not, I think today's action is overall healthy for the company. It gained so much value so quickly, that investors saw the risk of buying an unknown. These pull-backs bring in new investors/traders to keep the cycle going.
I'm green for the day :)
Think about the impact those 2 Seeking Alpha articles had on the price, along with a little social networking/message board PR. Nothing has changed between the beginning and end of the week, other than the articles being written. Crazy to watch how wild these things can be swung around and played with!
I bought back in in the 1.50s hoping to see a decent bounce of some sort for the day.
Nice post.
I agree with a lot of it. Investing is inherently a "risk" in and of itself. That "risk" level is stratified with every different investment/trade and a person (or computer)'s tolerance to give it a try to make a profit. Young guys tend to take on more risk, risk can provide large profits, every firm loves profits. CITX is a small fish in a big sea, and is currently trading with volume, which with large trades and small moves can produce profitable gains, especially if you had "friends talking." The SEC seems to be overwhelmed and most questions go unanswered.
Fact is, retail is always the last to know. Like they say "trade withe the big guys mentality and hope to be on the right side."
Placing long-term investments based on real valuations is probably the most conservative, but effective approach to consistent gains, as a retail investor, IMO. Access to better information and experience in the market can lead to riskier trades but greater gains.
It's more effective to swing the price up and down, and trade both sides as a MM to return profits. Volatility = good either way.
Example, anyone remember?
I was in AVNR in 2010. The day FDA was set to decide approval or rejection of it's phase 3 drug candidate, an hour before close, the price tanked from $2.50/share to .80/share in seconds taking out ALL the STOPS. After close, news was released of APPROVAL and the price immediately shot to $5.50/share or so after-hours. I held through that, it was nuts, have never seen anything like it, but as we all know, IT HAPPENS.
agree. RSI cooling down, trading back into the bollies. Those "waves" can't last forever, especially during times with no news to report.
Just wanted to say "thank you" for fwding this pick to NRY2 who then put it on my radar. I've done very well here last few weeks. I have a LONG perspective on this ticker, although locking in gains is a must for me along the way. Thanks again.
IC
;) I've done very well here, and all due to a small tip from NRY2 @ 1.25, who put this ticker on my radar. Locked-in gains at or near the tops. I had a feeling the games would kick-in at some point.
Anyone here have extra powder to burn? This may be a good time for us to watch closely and burn through their churn. I have funds available to put to work..
NRY2, just wanted to say thank you, once again, for pointing this one out to me :) One hell of a rally!
in my humble opinion...
your copy/paste of routine disclosures from the company's FINS says a lot about your motive.
these disclosures are in almost every company, even extremely profitable ones. they are necessary to cover the company's a$$ should the business plan encounter unforeseen setbacks.
if you were truly doing your DD, those disclosures would not be your main concern as they come with almost every investment in the capital markets. it "feels" more like a random comment to throw uncertainty into the conversation, not a legitimate concern for review.
imho
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a healthy pull-back mid-day today, with strong accumulation going into the close. It would give the RSI time to cool off and signal that those taking profits have been overtaken by those just entering, and she's ready to continue moving higher. JMHO!
disclosure: holding LONG from purchase at 1.49
$2 official, congrats to everyone involved.
I bought back in @ 1.49 w/ market orders going into the close a few days ago. Very happy with this pick you threw my way. +50% gains since your tip.
I will be accumulating on any weakness from here on out.
Thanks again.
charts don't work here
fundamentals show company is too underwater
history of terrible management decisions for stockholders
lies and misdirection in almost every PR
3 or 4 aliases posting here relentlessly = not a good sign.
Do some DD to see what I'm talking about.
agree..
looking for some 1.30 action around 1-2pm today, maybe even 1.20s.
watching, waiting.
same here... got in at 1.30 with after NRY2 pointed it out, got out next day @ 1.49 for a healthy little gain. Waiting for a 1.30-1.35 re-entry, I'll be watching closely. 0_O
TOB love your explanations of the chart.
Very user-friendly and easy to understand.
My thanks to you!
if that's the case..
than you must have inside information no?
it's almost as if he's trying to FORCE buy-out just so that creditors can collect their debt.
they can't through conversion anymore due to seemingly incompetent business decisions by management.
they can't take control due to future authorization to continuously dilute the common.
are you saying the only option left is to have the company bought and take control of the stock?
problem w/ that is no one in their right mind would buy a company so deep underwater, with no tangible or intangible value or future cash flows. can you offer an example of a company who could profit from owning this?
a run to the exits LOL
they can't convert and dump quick enough here.
BK soon IMO with no bid.
Balance sheet shows~
Total Liabilities = $20,952,418
Most of that is already due but just can't be paid.
So much risk involved here. Do your DD before investing your hard earned $.
From latest S 14A- SEC filing located here:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1408276/000135448812006336/sapx_prer14a.htm
PROPOSAL NO. 1 – TO DESIGNATE 249,000,000 SHARES OF THE COMPANY’S CAPITAL STOCK AS COMMON STOCK
currently- 35,667,839 authorized shares of common stock.
249,000,000 - 35,667,837 = 213,332,163 new shares.
213,332,163 / 35,667,837 = 5.98 = about 600% dilution of current shares.
* in the filing, they tell you they are going to do this: "Any issuance of additional shares of common stock would increase the number of outstanding shares of common stock and the percentage ownership of existing stockholders would be diluted accordingly."
Wash, rinse, repeat....
massive DROP. don't fool people it's bad for the soul... BRO
Oh..by no means am I underestimating CTIX potential value. I just take gains when I feel it's a good idea to do so (@ the 1.50 resistance.) I jumped in shortly after you mentioned it to me and jumped out when I sensed some weakness, no problem with that, easy to get back in now that it's on my radar. I read the filings and did some DD, and I see the potential. Very clean FINS IMO, no abusive tactics whatsoever by mgmt. I will bee watching for another safe entry. The OTC can be volatile so one can't rule out some crazy swings. Thanks again I owe you 1!
Hey NRY2, thanks for the heads up, realized a nice quick gain off CTIX. I will continue to watch closely.
