Settling debt proves profitable for CoreStream:
I assume IR was referring to the shares previously issued to settle the outstanding legacy debt, as mentioned in the February 21st PR. I don't know that additional shares were paid out since then. Seeing as how some of the former creditors are now financiers in CoreStream's new ventures, I would assume that payment of the remaining former debt was worked into the finacing deal (i.e. a percentage of profits, etc.). The second sentence in the quote below is why they did not use money from the financial backers to pay down the remaining debt.
Oop's that was actually a picture of my little girl's "junior" sluice box.

Nice move up today .019x.0198.
Looking good guys
Admittedly, I never thought I'd say that .019s are "looking good," but hey, it's better than going in the other direction.
God bless,

Last time we hit .001/.0011 on 3/9/11...shortly thereafter BOOM to .0027!

I'd like to see that again ;)
I have another buy order in for more to add to my core position.
Either way she goes, good luck to us all.

Nice pictures of gold and black sand dagg.
Per the Dec 7, 2010 PR (http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Sunergy-Large-Scale-Rare-Earth-Element-REEs-Concentrates-Valued-Over-3897-Ton-After-1364857.htm), it was estimated that some of the "big dollar" parameters expected per ton of black sand are: Gold ($573/ton), Cerium ($397/ton), and Hafnium (Hf) with a whopping $994/ton of black sand extracted. Oh, and don't forget about the Titanium (Ti) estimated to fetch $637/ton. The expected value from Hafnium and Titanium alone makes the gold recovery expected look like pocket change (although it is not)! So, I hope folks aren't discounting the "black sand" over the shiney gold. Gold is nice, but there's so much more here.
Of course, all these numbers were before more expansive testing was performed, and the as the last PR indicated, the values expected for each ton of black sand increased from $3395 to $8421/ton.

On a lighter note, here's some videos of our company's equipment (remember we acquired 100% Allied Mining & Supply)

Looking fantastic so far! Nice, slow and steady action is what I like to see.
KATX is moving nicely today.
I do realize this is little consolation for many here holding at a much higher pps, but nonetheless, I'm still happy to see the pps making it's way back up...slow and steady.
Good luck all,

REASON FOR THE FORWARD SPLIT (Effective Oct 18, 2010):
Yes, this was so they could acquire 100% Allied Mining & Supply, LLC and it's assets (mining equipment, property(ies), licenses, etc., while staying debt free.

Would love to see SNEY on Simply Pennies: Walk Around the Penny again...as a big fat green 'thumbs up.'
Whether your stock is a winner or loser, gotta love seeing the GAW-juss ladies hosting SP.
(yes, GAW-juss = georgeous)
The intro music is nice too..."it's got a good beat and you can dance to it." LOL
Here's the last mention of SNEY just last week (at 3:40):

Another thing you gotta love is how this morning barchart listed SNEY's 1st and 2nd resistence points as .0102 and .0104, respectivley...Looks like we've blown past both of those...with eeeeease.
Current 1st and 2nd resistance is .0114 and .0118, respectively.

STAY ON TOPIC...
IF PART OF YOUR POST IS OFF TOPIC, IT'S DELETABLE..
IF YOU'RE POSTING ABOUT DELETIONS, IT'S DELETABLE..
IF YOU'RE POSTING ABOUT OTHER STOCKS, IT'S DELETABLE..
IF YOUR POSTING ABOUT ANOTHER PERSON AS A PERSON, AND NOT ABOUT THEIR POSTED STATEMENTS...IT'S DELETABLE...
IF YOU'RE POSTING ABOUT SOMETHING THAT'S NOT MATERIAL TO EMLL, IT'S PRODUCTS, PEOPLE IN SOME SIGNIFICANT/MATERIAL WAY..IT'S DELETABLE..
AND IF YOU'RE ABOUT TO WRITE THAT ANY PARTICULAR "SIDE" IS FAVORED...SAVE IT...READ THE ENTIRE DAY'S POSTS...AND SEE WHAT REMAINS ON THE BOARD...EVEN THE MOST OFFENSIVE, IF NOT AGAINST RULES, THEN IT STAYS...SO SAVE TALK ABOUT FAVORITISM.
THANKS,
--------------------------
[please read and understand] HOW NOT TO HAVE YOUR MESSAGE DELETED 101
1. If 90% of your message is about the company, but 10% is about the poster, it will be deleted. So, as soon as you write, "You post lies or you post false information...," or "You have a negative agenda and only post opinions, I have facts," the message is gone. Just post the opinions or facts about the company without engaging the other person. You simply don't need to include the extraneous flames on the other person.
2. Don't accuse a poster or a group of posters of having motives or are trying to manipulate the stock. If they post something you don't agree with, simply write what your thoughts are or what facts you have. As stated, if the post questions the previous poster, it's zapped. Simple. So don't say, "You're bashing this stock...," or "You have a personal problem with the company," or "You are a liar", or "Which market maker are you working for," because your message will be deleted. Just state what the information you have is without regard to the other person.
3. Don't include comments like, "This will probably be deleted," or "my messages were deleted," or "why aren't the basher's posts deleted", because if you do, they are required to be deleted. The proper way to appeal deletions of your posts, is to click TOOLS then MY REMOVED POSTS. You can appeal unless Administration deleted it.
4. Don't attack or question the mods because you had a post deleted. Understand that if you want to discuss something with a mod, send a PM. If you can't send PM's because you have a free membership, then buy a membership.
5. Don't send messages that should be private through the public board. Don't say, "contact me on Yahoo," or "I need to talk to you in private here's my email." If you can't send a private message because you're free, pay for a membership. Or, sneak it in on a non-stock board. Don't clutter the board with invites to share info privately.
6. Don't repeat the same thing over and over. Don't post about other stocks. If you repeat the same thing, or post about other stocks, it's considered SPAM. I'm all for dialogue and debate, but posting duplicate messages just to annoy each other or intimidate, will be deleted as duplicates.

Yo cheepo, just in time. The perfect storm we've been waiting patiently for these last several months...
Filings should start rolling in this week and next to bring us current, then eligible to go back to the OTCBB May 1st. Gold production is imminent, and oh yeah, did you check out the last PR regarding the estimated value of our concentrates...more than doubled. BAM!
Looking good guys.

Mikey, they've already pulled samples to see what sort of recovery they can expect. Read some of the reports on SNEY's website, including the technical reports for the properties, and the Executive Brifing. They explain how their coming up with their predictions.
http://www.sunergygold.com/projects/index.php
Also, they've summarized these reports in one of the last PRs.
Note: now replace $3,897/ton with $8,421/ton
http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/Sunergy-Update-3-Dredges-Equipment-Have-Arrived-In-Sierra-Leone-January-2011-Test-Results-1413082.htm
Sierra Leone has two different time periods listed. May to December is listed further down. Not sure why the discrepancy.
We're bringing boats for the rainy season!
Just kidding. But in all seriousness you can view the rain/climate data for Ghana here:
http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/geography/climate.php
nice table as you scroll down
I do believe that is why we're using these particular boat-mounted dredges...makes sense to me. In fact, that's probably the reason for the particular timing the company has chosen.
Sierra Gold spoke of this very issue in one of their PRs:
That's fantastic seeing SNEY in "Dredging Today."
http://www.dredgingtoday.com/2011/03/17/sierra-leone-three-dredgers-and-operating-equipment-arrives-in-freetown/
Dagg, I do believe we're about to see the perfect storm.
We've all been waiting and watching for the last several months, just waiting for the pieces to start falling together.
I do believe we'll see the the2009 10K and 2010 10Q's posted this next week, and most likely the 2010 10K by the following week at the latest. In general, the market tends to respond very nicely when a company suddenly files a year's worth of filings to get current. It shows the company means business, and if history is any indication how the market will respond, we should be in for a nice surprise..
In addition, SNEY is about to commence actual production...not exploration, not assaying, but actual production. The most recent round of analyses have more than doubled the estimated value of our concentrates.
What more can we ask for?
I'd encourage everyone here to do a little reading through Sunergy's website. Read the Executive Briefing, and various technical documents on the properties to see what we can expect...very very impressive. This is precisely why I didn't mind loading up on shares when the price dropped all the way down from 0.016 to 0.006.
We have a nice board here, with good folks...many of whom we've come to know and respect of the last couple years.
I'd like to encourage everyone first to go to Sunergy's homepage and view the video describing how our custom-built dredges will operate, separating gold, diamonds, and black sands with REE.
http://www.sunergygold.com/
Check out the Executive Brief to get an idea of their overall goals, specific objectives, and timelines. This brief is not too long, and will answer many of the basic questions that new investors and potential investors have.

Good luck all,

Thank you for the clarification popunjay.
My thoughts on this week's events.
It's been a rough week for sure. I have been absolutely swamped with work, and as such have posted very little here or elsewhere. My apologies. Here are a couple points regarding various topics of discussion this week:
1. The share price has obviously taken a big hit this week, and so naturally many shareholders are upset. I'd just like to add that I don't blame anyone for being upset. I don't know anyone that is pleased to lose money. That's just reality.
2. In addition, many are frustrated with the lack of information/communication from the company. I will agree to this point. There are several updates that are due, and the silence is clearly taking it's toll on the pps. Although, admittedly there is very little a CEO can do to control the day-to-day pps. However, much uncertainty could be removed by the answering of several recurring questions.
3. I cannot confirm whether or not dilution is taking place. No one can, and as such I won't speculate either way (respectfully). I do NOT believe the float posted on Yahoo is correct, and I would NOT say that the recent decline in pps and volume is necessarily "proof" of dilution. This is speculation only (by some). Of course, this also could be confirmed either way with a corporate update. I will say that I suspect that much of the volume is due to many long KATX shareholders selling their position now that we've been informed the distribution is now in the hands of the TA and should be forthcoming. But again, I cannot confirm that. I also suspect that much of the selling is from current shareholders who are just protecting their investment capital, for fear of further loss in the face of a declining pps. I personally cannot fault anyone for trying to limit their losses, nor can I fault anyone for wanting to buy more "cheap" shares. That is a personal decision, and should be respected by all. In the end (for better or worse) the decision to invest in ANY stock is that of the individual investor.
4. I've heard mention on the board of financing. Again, I cannot confirm this, as I know as much as you guys do. If Ken is working on financing, some might ask, "does that mean the other financiers are gone?" I personally do not know for a matter of fact the status of our relationship with the financiers. The last time I spoke with Jack Zwicker about providing and update, he just said the relationship was on-going. Granted, that was several months ago, and Jack is no longer doing IR. IF Ken is working on some financing, some might speculate that the original financiers are gone, but that may not necessrily be the case either...as some companies do receive mulitple streams of financing (i.e. various JVs on various properties, various grants, loans, etc.). If further financing is being worked on, I would assume that some amount of shares would be involved. I do not know how many? Yes, that would dilute the stock, unless Ken decided to retire some other shares (maybe some of the shares Ken and Tim issued themselves last year). However, I will note that last Spring, the O/S and float increased from November 2009, AND they issued 50 million to the financiers in exchange for some amount of money (we do not know for a fact how much of the $5 million we actually received), the market STILL responded positively.
For example, here was the O/S and float in 2009 (although there are two different numbers for Nov 2009, see May 31, 2010 filing and the most recent filing)
The Quarterly Report for the period ending May 31, 2010 lists the following numbers for Nov 2009:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=33437
Nov 2009
O/S 275.7 million
Float 68.9 million
The Quarterly Report for the Period ending Nov 30, 2010 lists the following numbers for Nov 2009 (different than previously reported for Nov 2009)
http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=45746
O/S 339.7 million
Float 168.9 million
Regardless of which share structure reported for Nov 2009 is correct, even if we take the higher number of shares as of Nov 2009, we see that the following shares structure was filed for the period ending May 31 2010
O/S 641.6 million
Float 332.4 million
http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=33437
But my main point is, that even with the increase in the O/S and float, the news of financing last Spring resulted in a nice increase in the pps, followed by the announcement of a drilling program (Handcamp), and a nice increase in the pps. Could it happen again? Sure. Will it? I cannot say for certain. This is why some call investing "legalized gambling." Any time you start up a business, buy a franchise, or buy stock, you're gambling that the business will succeed. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.
This is all I have to add right now, and again, my apologies for the limited posting as of late.
Sincerely,
Bio

MONSTER NEWS:
1. As far as I know, most brokers just display the BEST bid/ask price. But if there is a lower ask price on the table, and it matches your bid, it SHOULD get filled (assuming the number of shares are matched okay). The bid may be displayed as .0012 and ask as .0014, BUT say you don't mind offering more than the displayed bid, (i.e. .0013), if there is another sell order in for that amount, it should go through. I realize this is a really really oversimplification of the issue, but I'm trying to get across the jist of it.
2. Various Market Makers (MMs) display the prices, I assume based on the orders that are on the table. Depending on the service you use to view the bid/ask, I believe it usually just displays the BEST bid/ask. The bid may go up if people are willing to offer more, but that doesn't mean the ask will go up accordingly...unless someone then raises their ask price. Again, this is an over-simplification, and just my understanding of how it works.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks,
Bio
Correction: see footnote 5 for "shares outstanding" note
5) Shares outstanding is taken from the most recently filed quarterly or annual report and Market Cap is calculated using shares outstanding
I noticed it...commented on it a couple times

EDIT: My apologies, I thought you were talking about the change in the float in the last filings. I didn't notice the 569 million float listed by Yahoo Finance http://finance.yahoo.com/q/ks?s=KATX.PK
I did note in the footnote for "Shares Oustanding," it says, that data was provided by Compushare (footnote 6). The shares outstanding is still listed as 641.6, though.
I wonder if we'll see a nice little bump in the pps with the filing of the 8-K.
Re: 15c211:
Interesting points from the amended filing today:http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=45746
Wrong dagg. I KNOW the reason for the sell off...
It's because I bought more KATX today. Sorry, I should've warned everyone first. I don't know what I did, but I must've made some of the MMs angry. It's like they just sit and wait for me to buy. LOL
In all seriousness though. I sure hope this was the dip before a run on good news. That's not unheard of either.

I was just being polite ;)

I believe he's saying that one could just as easily speculate the complete opposite of what 74Stingray posted...because at this stage we just don't know. Note his comment, "the fact is, you just don't know."
I think you misunderstood his post. His point was that one could easily speculate either way, because we DON'T know.
Good luck all,
Bio
In this particular case, the change-over affected over a 1,000 companies...none of whom were informed and I venture to say all were current in filings (else they would not have gone to the OTCQB, but rather straight to the third tier of pinks anyways).
When I alerted Ken and Stan to that "failure to comply," they were not aware of it either...as I'm sure the now 1,000+ other companies were also unaware.
EMLL was cited on Around the Penny:

couple things to note:
*ZLUS acquires 18 already producing oil wells
50% working interest in 5 of them; 80-87.5% working interest in the other 13
*ZLUS launches energy trading subsidiary...
The trading unit will add to revenues to CoreStream Energy in the second quarter of 2011, and is expect to grow at a controlled deliberate pace consistent with its growth in capital.
* Q1 filing for 2010 is out...with a profit, even while settling debt.
* the remainder of 2010 [filings] will also have extraordinary gains due to the Company's continued effort to reduce its debt.
* Company intends to be current during 2011
* new engineer/geo
* multi-million dollar funding commitment from hedge fund with an existing relationship.
* additional financing in the works
* Additional funding has also been obtained from another source
* Similar commitments from various other financial sources are in discussion and negotiation.
* soon to be debt free
* no expectation or need for a reverse spit
* over 75% of the legacy debt resolved and itis expected that the vast majority of the debt settlement will be finalized during 2011
* State Lease #2 well is expected to be completed and production begun in the next few weeks.
* CoreStream is part of a partnership which, by drilling State Lease #2 in 2010, has the rights to 1600 acres in this area of proven reserves and success.
* CoreStream will enjoy a minimum 4% working interest in the current well, and has the right of participation in any of the wells in the project area over time. (I realize it's only 4%, but income is income...and we have the 3 multi-well deals in negotiatins now).
One thing is for sure, 'rule'...
If it does take a short dip down tomorrow, I'm buying more (just like I did on the last dip). Sure, there's nothing wrong with locking in a little profit on a run, but I'll be holding a very nice core position for a while on this one. Wishing you, and everyone here, all the best!
Peace,

Way to go Big Owl...Everyone, please read this PR by another company regarding this very issue...
http://www.invobioscience.com/pdf/Letter03012011.pdf
This is precisely what happened to us, and therefore applicable. I asked Ken and Stan to do a similar PR clarifying what happened, just as the CFO of this company (above) did. Man, all the hubub over nothing. LOL
Like I said, if I'm wrong, please correct me. Thanks for the great conversation Big Owl. You rock, buddy.
