Could be right?
'Baxalta' may not be quite out of the picture just yet?
And for the 'miracle' of 'breathing' as we travel thru the 'miracle' that occurs approximately every twenty four hours, that is beyond the comprehension of human consciousness.
'Life is Good'
In Thanks
Don't be 'sneakin' any 'peaks' now whilst da turkey is cookin..
I am more than convinced there is something 'cooking' in 'Cambridge' also.
May it come out 'welldone' and quite pleasant to the palate...
'Family & Health', nourishment to the 'Soul'. And what it is really all about, according to 'galt'. even 'he' less than a 'grain of sand'.
take care
'Skal'
you are here yet, thanks. perhaps the '81'% of the other 'suspicion' also is in the 'midst'!!! we shall see
i think it has always been '15' rounds..maybe a 'knockout', we can hope.
the age is catching up, but 'Ariadne', 'ageless', in her beauty.
Thanks for being here with 'Ariad' as the final chapter/'s play out.
Maybe 'Big Al' is still a little 'woozy' from the nasty right uppercut delivered some days ago from 'AEGR'. I would assume that one had a bit of pain behind it. Wonder what the entry point was on that venture?
'VVUS' has been more of a 'chronic pain' i would assume. They are awaiting some 'big news' on that side of the island.
From this perspective, 'Al' and company could use an 'upper' at some point to help relieve the pain? The 'portfolio' has been banged around for a time now.
May we hope 'Ariad' could be that 'upper' for all involved.
As we enter 'Round 14'-------- ding, ding, ding, ding,
Suspicions about 81% confirmed.
On the 'good/bad' meter, that is very///very good.
'Bleak'--Bad
'Good'--Great
'Very Good'--Homerun
'hi ho silver' as Dr Berger fondly and with care, unleashes the 'crop' into the sunset. the final chapter is written.
if it can come to reality, i shall share a very 'valued' photo of 'Ariadne' from the long ago library of 'friar24walk' whom began the journey so many years ago. Died of 'cancer' to young with 'hope' that early 'Ariad' drug could maybe help him.
I enjoyed the perspective of your 'missive'.
thanks
galtjohn
You remind me a 'good deal' of someone in the past that had a fair amount of understanding of the 'bio' field.
Nice to see ya??
galt
'Hotrodder1'
'our day will come'
appears you have also been here for a bit of the 'journey', as we continue the quest.
Mr Denner has most certainly taken his share of the 'beating' in these past couple of years with his 'fund'. New found freedom and a 'longing' to pursue one's dreams always presents a challenge.
I oh so hope, he is correct on this target of 'Ariadne', as so many others would agree. At least the 'ones' that count.....lol
the music always, anyway according to 'galt' lol
hang in there
'I know I've been an unwanted poster here as I have questioned the sustainable of Ariad on many fronts'.
so very true
sad, the last post was deleted
to my fellow 'veterans', i love you and thank you for the 'sacrifice' on this honored 'Veterans Day'.
'Rite'
It is and always was how one perceives it.
'Ariadne' as we continue.
peace
galt
whatada ya think 'Mr Br'?
'I know I've been an unwanted poster here as I have questioned the sustainable of Ariad on many fronts'.
whatever, i always enjoy the give and take of how 'we' perceive our endeavors as we all make our way to the destination.
I would be delighted with a 'BO' in the 'fourteen' range, give or take. and so much better, sooner than later.
back to 'mutual respect', as we continue to pursue
galt
I think maybe we have some very good 'focus' here.
'ilpapa', no 'advice', but always hope..you have been around a bit also.
and thank you
always 'Ariadne', now in the closing 'scenes'
peace
galt
Enjoyed the well put together 'thought process' as we travel on this journey thru 'cyberspace' toward common goals concerning the beloved 'Ariadne'....
"The Ariad Disease", never quite thought of it in that perspective.
Thanks
galt
PS-at least 'common goals' for most...........lol
Quite 'frankly' i thought 'Ariad' traded well today.
On any given day, it means less than 'nothing'.
The 'potential' is far beyond this comprehension.
Goodness, there is reason for this 'soliloquy'.
in mutual disrespect
Realizing that is another opinion from a well respected individual, that would truly be something if it could somehow become a reality in 'pharmacology'.
One of the most 'frightening' diseases in mankind. Have witnessed the horrible toll of that disease.
And 'no treatment'.
galt
Interesting question.
The resident 'flipper' here could be abit more entertaining if 'he and sons' would share what they had for 'breakfast' on some days of the week.
Just 'food' for thought, pardon the 'pun'..lol
Back to 'Aria', kind of a tough slog here. Hopefully, no news, is 'good news'. I think we are heading for 'ground zero' and keeping the fingers crossed.
galt
Thank you 'Mr br'
I think you are on the money in that observation.
In mutual respect
galt
I wonder what 'Mr Williams', 'A Fool since 2010' would quantify as a 'modest upside' target price. I would assume perhaps '9--11$' range would be his target. But he did not put the numbers out.
His counterintuitive observation i guess keeps the 'scale' balanced.
Not sure who he is referring to as 'ultra-optimists'. He may be a regular follower here on the 'Ihub'. lol
Well, we shall see in due time i hope?
"The big question on everyone's minds now, following Ariad's whopper of a correction in September, is whether or not the stock has a shot of flying higher over the long-term. To that end, I do believe there could be some modest upside, but I don't share the same vision as ultra-optimists of Ariad seeing the $20 level again as it did in 2013".
kind of enjoyed the 'crummy' synopsis!! lol
another interesting analysis in regard to 'short interest'
the 'IBB' is becoming much more in focus, we shall see..
'Ariad'---always so intriguing. I think maybe the final chapters of the story have begun.
from 'mitosis' many years ago, this tune. played it here before on several occasions. always a favorite
in mutual respect
galt
Oh, the down days. The frustration
'Ariadne', always been so tough thru these years. What a venture. Not a lot unlike life itself.
'Mr BR', still in mutual respect.
Looking ahead with 'no inclination' to look back.
We are in tiny with a core position.
We fear everything, especially the 2's,,4's,,6's?
'No body caught this, not even 2damoon, but it is extremely important to understand this. Don S. posted very important information a few days ago on Twitter'
Really
There is 'NOTHING' in cyberspace of 'importance' let alone 'very important'..The reality of same is always 'subjective', to say the very least. On more than an occasion perhaps one should keep the 'tweeter' in the pants pocket for some unfound useful purpose.
The 'Ariadne' is quite much more than stupidity, which i shall regale myself to another 'subjective' view.
And may we move on
'seamus needs a new pair of shoes', he must of got em. lol-- good for him, heck of a nice fellow. had a flair for 'insight' into the 'bio-tech' arena.
Those were some very good days on the 'yahoo thread' in sharing thoughts about a younger 'Ariad' some years ago now.
This has been quite a ride with 'Ariad'.
'How could any investor ever forget about Ariad'? Kind of says it all. I would hope it would have some closure in the not to distant future. Never thought i would see 'H Berger' relinquish the 'throne' he built.
I find myself older (not wiser) i have come to believe and also retired. lol
Again, a pleasure to see you here. Thanks for the update on 'seamus'.
peace, galt
ps--if this 'Ariadne' should strike one more time, i shall share a favorite pic from the 'friar24walk' library of the 'Ariadne' from so many years ago. It created a 'buzz' then and am sure it would now..lol
To another good old 'longtimer' around the 'Ariadne'. Good to see you to.
Haven't run into 'seamus' anywhere lately, now have ya? would be good to hear his 'take' on the current situation with 'Aria'!! lol
galt
Do not agree or a mutual counterpoint for 'Mr BR'...
"Rum, I have been stuck in this thing for more years than I care to admit, and it appears that I'm the only one that looks at this company with a critical eye. Everyone else assures us that all is well, that $10 is the new floor, and the buyout price will be above $20. I'm not that smart and have no idea what my exit price will be, or if there will be a buyout. All I know is we have aways to go because at a $1.5 billion market cap, it's not touchable in its current state. I fully expect more value will be created with the passage of time, but, I've had enough. Denner is not working this like I thought, and I for one don't know how much control he has with the terrible legacy bod that Harvey created.
The markets are at the most risk that I have seen in along time, especially currencies.."
Gotta get past mid Sept to have a look at the 'Fed'
I think 'Mr Denner' is working this 'very well'. I have 'not' had 'enough' to think differently. I also think '2da' is correct in that we should be in the '8's now and we shall see in the upcoming weeks where we may be headed.
This perspective, i think i will go with for the time being..
I shall respect the opinion for now...
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-07-29/blankfein-sees-strong-u-s-market-jolt-from-fed-rate-increase
we shall see
and from another well respected source that has the 'talent' to perceive and share those perceptions in a credible fashion!
"thanks spin - and to jaybe for posting the report. So the pts that were unresponsive to IMA (n=4) or DAS (n=1), at a median follow up for 22 mo, resulted in 3 pts with MR4.5 and 1 pt with MR4. Even the DAS-resistant pt had a partial cytogenetic response. Equally important, pts quickly had doses reduced to 15 mg/d. This augurs well for the early (3 mo assessment on IMA) switch study. 15-20% of newly diagnosed CP CML pts are considered "poorly responsive" to IMA and would likely benefit from the early switch. Extrapolating from this small study, the vast majority should respond and receive PON for years and at least half should achieve MR4.5, the ultimate target for reducing the leukemic cell mass, associated with long-term non progression.
this report, from the World's leading CML clinical research group, represents an advance in management of CP CML. Good for pts and ARIA"

Just thinkin maybe, nice long weekend.
'Ariadne', now was she the 'Great Goddess of Crete' or merely a 'sacrificial' offering??
When she provided the 'sword and that ball of thread' to help 'Theseus' find his way out, the rest is history. Speculation is always so wonderful in the interpretation, as our beloved 'Ariadne' is also portrayed as an 'adulteress'.
Kind of like the 'thread' here and our perception of one another.
Looking forward to next week and beyond. 'Ariadne' i think probably was a 'Great Goddess'......we shall see
Thanks Barry
Always nice to see and hear from another old 'trusted' name.
Glad your here and as always have enjoyed your 'input' for these many years.
galt
Mr 'BR', somehow this must have slipped past your desk?
I find it down right 'dreadful'. 'fearful' even.
Oh well, gotta take the good with the bad in our humanity.
In mutual respect
galt
Time out--'Mr BR'
I think the scale got a bit to much 'counterbalance' on that one.
Will have to take the scale in for some 'recalibrating.???
Sometimes that happens when ya 'lean' on em to much the wrong way.
In mutual respect
galt
Mr 'BR', there is purpose to all. according to 'galt' which ain't a lot!!
You add 'counterbalance' to the scale in our endeavor with this very interesting pursuit of 'Ariad'. Always such, for so many years, a very intriguing story in the advancement of 'cancer' research.
From so many years gone by, a bit of music reflects.
'Kristofferson' a fellow 'infantry veteran', never got to 'danangville', but did his country well.
The song and history speak well of those years so many 'years' ago. There is no 'fear' really, just maybe we live in the moment.

galt
Not everyone Mr 'BR'
Just the ones that count?
Your at 12 vs the 'line in the sand' at +20....
It is written in 'stone' now..lol
Enjoy the moment, that is about all there ever is.
in mutual respect
galt
Had a sip or 2 of that 'kewl-aid' also along this journey. 'Ariadne' always been tough to handle. Been knowin that for some years now. Still think she will take us to the 'promised' land!!!!!! hopefully, while i am still on this coaster that goes around the sun about every 24 hours. lol
Keep up the good work
Always in appreciation
galt
'laughter' is tonic for the soul, or so i was taught.
It has been a 'fun' afternoon.
thanks
galt
Gawd-
lol, gotta love it
Hey, thanks for helping us out here, 'trader'. This 'Ariadne' is a tough one to figure out as usual.
Heavens, according to one of our regular posters here 'he/she' 'proclaims' that 95% of us do not have a 'clue here'.
We need all the help we can get.
Thanks Again
Goodness, a reunion of days gone past
nice to see you/all again
'Ariadne', so very interesting now,,we shall see
thanks for this one, i always enjoyed it
Well, your no 'youngster' if you remember 'Dragnet'. Was your 'friends' name not 'Joe Friday'?
I think your vacation must have been a success as you appear to be 'recharged'...lol
Nice to see you back
galt
