Always appreciate your input arstegall!
junkhustler, thanks for the PM. I'm a freebie so no PM's here.
here's the investopedia definition:
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/f/formt.asp#axzz26T6eW3RE
Definition of 'Form T'
A form that FINRA requires brokers to use for reporting equity trades executed outside of normal market hours. Form T trades occur during extended hours - before the market opens and after it closes. The objective of the Form T reports is to maintain market transparency and integrity.
Investopedia explains 'Form T'
Trading in extended hours enables investors to react quickly to events that typically occur outside regular market hours, such as earnings reports. However, liquidity may be constrained during such Form T trading, resulting in wide bid-ask spreads. Form T trading is especially suited for overseas investors, since they may conduct the bulk of their U.S. trading when their markets are open but U.S. markets are closed.
The growing popularity of electronic communication networks means that Form T trading is bound to continue increasing.
If those form t's are buys I'd love to get in on that, but once again why would someone sell large lots below the bid.
Cheers to you!
T-trades are not after hour trades, they are trades that are only balanced at the end of the day.
check out investopedia.com and look up T-trades.
cheers.
Two months, can't wait! How bout you?
Junkhustler, why are there so many form T sales below the bid almost every day? Just curious, cause if one wants to sell, why wait till after the market closes, and then why would someone sell lower than the bid?
Don't make no sense does it.
Say what????

Hunker down, keep some powder dry, keep some beer cold, and plan your party, either stateside or in Belize.
Who is going to blink first...
geopressure, I'm pretty sure you're trying to bait people with your posts about phantom shares, but for whatever reason I'll bite. Look up NSS (Naked Short Selling) and / or FTD (Failure to Deliver). Do some reading and then check back. There are a couple of stickies here about them, one of them is a post by yours truly.
Yes I've heard from IR that there are about 80 Million phantom shares out there. I don't know if that number is accurate or not, but there are plenty of examples of bizzarre trades that go through here all of the time. There were several large trades today that went off below the bid. If you are selling 250,000 shares, why would you take .04 instead of .043 which was the bid at that time????
To all of you in the path of this storm, stay safe. Doesn't look as bad as some in the past, but as you likely already know, hurricanes of any kind are nothing to take lightly.
arstegall,
I owe you a Community Coffee or six if I ever get the chance to meet ya. Wealth of info there, and everyone here appreciates your posts.
Harold33272, nice to hear the term "Margin of Safety" mentioned here. Thanks for you assesment. I have my doubts whether Benjamin Graham would have invested in Treaty, but it is good to know that at the worst, TECO is worth somewhere near the current pps. I'm hoping you post a bit more often.
Maybe he gave us a clue...

Re: powerbattles post# 40596
It's time to start buying....
BULL
That's the answer I'm looking for. Thanks!
Agreed across the board with you stifler.
Just one question for the board today.
Is anyone here willing to sell your shares for .045??
I sure as hill won't part with mine for .045.
Just wanted whoever might be interested in buying them from me to know that you'll have to do a lot better than .045.
stifler,
I've been following this pretty religiously. Coolnapz has this nailed! I'm hoping they don't get their wish, but if they do and we sink, I'm ready willing and able to buy more.
500 sold @ .045, laughable!
Cool, thanks for the PM. Can't PM ya back, on a freebie here. Predictable behavior on bears part. You are right on the money with the .045 number. When will they succumb??? I can't wait for the day.
We need some buyers. 400K just showed up on the bid @ .048.
I hear ya, this is likely my last penny stock. The one previously I didn't leave myself any wiggle room, barely got out with a small profit, because I backed myself into a corner. Won't happen here. I think these guys (TECO) are heading in the right direction, but this doesn't help build confidence. If they have something waiting in the wings, now would be a good time to let it loose.
At least people aren't dumping in droves. There is a lot of faith in this. Obviously I'd like to hear some news about what was put out July 31st about the W. Texas leases, the payment on the Shelby lease with the August 15th deadline. Nobody is bailing at this point. We do need some buyers at these levels, otherwise the inevitable decline will start, and the shorts will get their wish. I'm not hoping for that, but I'm ready if it happens.
Couldn't stand seeing it at .0459. Bought a few @ .048
I'm assuming that a lot of the regulars can't connect to IHub, maybe that's why we're having so few posts here today. We're kind of mirroring the amount of trading activity at this point.
BaderBob,
I'm with ya. I'm ready if it dips much more.
akphidelt,
Marked your post for future reference. When 300bpd does happen why don't you give the 10 grand to a charity. That might improve your mood.
Just in case you're wondering I'm not going to bet. I've already placed my bets on TECO.
Yep, dloggold, business as usual in pennyland. I'm betting its the same MM that does it. Anybody track who is making those after hours trades??? Just curious, of course by default I would guess VNDM but just a WAG.
BTW I just noticed your handle is a palindrome.
610K form T trades yesterday. Someone on IHub posted this on Form T trades sometime ago, thought some of yous might be interested.

This line caught my eye.
"MMs are prohibited from habitual "Off Market” transactions:
A pattern or practice of late reporting without exceptional circumstances may be considered conduct inconsistent with high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade, in violation of Rule 2110.
Trading today and yesterday a bit different than the past few weeks. Something brewing?
Slightly different trading today. Good to see some buying, even in dribs and drabs.
go4pm,
In many cases what is posted here is quoted directly from IR, but this being an internet message board, you need to understand that if anyone is counting on this as their primary source of information, that is a BIG mistake. There are people on this board who don't have your best interest, or that of TECO in mind when they post. I have called IR, and any time I feel the need to get info on a specific topic I will call and have the opportunity to get the answer directly from the horse's mouth, and not rely solely on this or any other message board on the web for my research.
The RRC reports will be out for the month of July very soon and that should give you and everyone else here a reason to exhale. With each passing month I expect the numbers to get better and better as more wells come on line. As I've said before, the big deal for me is the third quarter 10Q, which should legitimize everything that TECO has been claiming. It is my opinion that there are many investors that are waiting to see that document before plunking down their money. That to me is the first big milestone, and it is only a couple months away!
GO TECO!!!
HAHA!!
Careful BaderBob, you might get an unexpected call from Agent Richard Johnson from the IRS, regarding your employment during the 1970's. BTW he prefers the short version of his first name.
Hope you're right escogf! Would be a nice change of pace. Doldrums getting old.
Sounds to me like the GOB should be rooting for Treaty.
http://in.reuters.com/article/2012/08/09/belize-bond-idINL2E8J9IIY20120809
MEXICO CITY, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Investors in Belize's
so-called superbonds will be asked to write off up to 45 percent
of their investment under restructuring options put forward by
the country's government this week.
Prime Minister Dean Barrow has said the small Central
American country cannot afford to service the $550 million
dollar bond, which started with a coupon payment
of 4.25 percent but steps up this year to 8.5 percent.
Restructuring options include cutting the principal to be
repaid by 45 percent and extending the maturity date to 2042
from the current 2029, according to a document on the Belize
central bank's website, dated Aug. 8.
The interest rate on the bond, which accounts for about half
Belize's government debt, would be cut to either a flat 3.5
percent throughout the term of the loan or step up from 1
percent in 2019 to 4 percent by 2042.
A third option would involve extending the term to 2062, no
discount on the principal, a 15-year grace period on principal
payments and a flat interest rate of 2 percent.
Exotix economist Stuart Culverhouse said the proposal was
even more negative for bondholders than expected.
"We retain our 'Sell' recommendation on Belize's super
bond," he said in a research note.
The yield on the bond jumped 3.5 percentage points after the
announcement to 23.4 percent, according to Reuters pricing.
Investors are due to receive their next interest payment on
the bond on Aug. 20 and Belize has said it has budgeted to make
it.
That was discussed here a while ago. You've been away for a while. Last post shows early July, right before the most recent run-up.
Thanks klipnocky!
I prefer the under promise over deliver approach 100%. So far so good with TECO. I got time and plenty of dry powder if the patients lose patience.
GO TECO!!!!
At the very least I would think there would be some sort of PR regarding the 15th of this month. Hopefully something between now and then. But... if nothing else the release of sales data gets closer with each passing day. The day that becomes public knowledge things will get a lot more interesting here to say the least.
Perfect, if you don't mind I'll add some Jameson to my coffee.
arstegall,
I owe you a drink or six of your choice, if we should ever meet. Great to have your input on TECO, and drilling operations as a whole. What'll you have???
Thanks!
JunkHustler,
What's your call??
Any buys I put in always take 5-10 minutes at a minimum. Time is slipping away. They have their chance to cover now at a small loss. There is some going on in my opinion. Those larger lots below the bid certainly appear to be a bit suspect. Heh currently the price is actually above the ask.
BaderBob, When the time comes, part of my retirement plan is to buy a property with a small lake / pond on it. Then we could reinstitute the lake parties of years ago. The only problem would be the party would have to start about four hours sooner, so that Cal Bob could get to bed on time!
