i'm sure your brain has more going on then that.. don't be so hard on yourself.
well more good input from you. let's see here. TAG hasn't hit new lows so is not spiraling down and mes hasn't drop below yesterday's low so neither it spiraling down.
meanwhile i hear great things are happening with axis - MASSIVE!
are you able to produce any other themes or is this all you can do?
whiskey time first thing in the morning eh? rock on but maybe you need to get some help for that addiction.
btw i drink Gin... the whiskey you drink i put in coffee, if at all.
the price certainly tells some of the story but again your not getting the complete picture. these comments you make are throw away.
how does mes compare to other explorers of its type? you don't follow the market so i'll tell you.
they are all down.
D for effort this time.
not necessarily and in fact more often then not it means a bottom as occured.
however in this case MPartners did internal trade of 260k... so today's action was 180k so no real biggie.
C for effort.
i am beginning to like having an ankle biter chase me around different boards on different stocks try his wee best to bring them all down.
it makes me feel special. though it would be better if he had breasts.
ho hum.
infinitely at your best when you've been drinking, without doubt. so clever.
with regard to what is happening in the markets... do try to get the facts right. TAG did hit their targets but the market assumed something bigger (bad marketing on their part). their flow targets were in the WEST coast and had nothing to do with MES which is on the EAST coast(doh). different geology. trust you got that now.
TAG are "very excited" about their EAST coast drill hole so we can assume all the signals are good.
no need listen to voice in the bottle telling you those silly rumours , it/they knows nothing.
PS please do look after the thread whilst i'm away. cheers
hi Red,
I noted that also, though nothing really new there just reconfirming what has already been said.
let's see if june has the news about the jv.

buy into East Coast NZ.
hi Scyther.
50 mill JV buy in is the hot rumour - we might see something in the next month. my guess its a big customer and we might see some after glow from them.
TAG I'm told will produce some results from their E Coast drill in the next month also.
fingers crossed.

Hi Red,

Bob Moriarty: talking about TAG and MES on Green Energy....

In addition, TAG's East Coast Basin play has particular features that provide encouragement in regard to prospectivity of this unconventional exploration play, including:
The source rocks are up to 600 meters thick in some areas;
The source rocks are naturally fractured;
The oil confirmed as coming from the source rocks, is 50 degree API;
The East Coast Basin is over-pressured at depth, confirming a competent seal situated above the source rocks.

These parameters were also considered in an independent report that estimated potential undiscovered oil initially-in-place amounting to 14 billion barrels, calculated on just 20% of TAG's East Coast Basin acreage that is believed to be prospective for unconventional discovery.
"Abdullahi Haider, a senior adviser to Somalia’s Ministry of Energy"
he is an advisor and not the government... its already been discounted.

Hi Red,
its been a while since I dropped by here.
Regarding Marauder, I'm hearing all kinds of shenanigans have been going on with mes financers trying to get the knick the blocks for themselves, holding the financing so mes will fail. That explains the 3 to 1 issue.
Range has been pushing to get into the block as well.
All rumours of course but does explain it somewhat.
From what I hear now the sky’s are clearing, mes has things back under control.
The few weeks should be interesting indeed.

Rush: The Dynamics Of Kenya’s Oil Strike
interesting blog post similar to posts made already but thought i would add anyway.
http://www.financialtaskforce.org/2012/04/05/rush-the-dynamics-of-kenyas-oil-strike/
Thanks Red.
so the depth of the find is significant and 20meters is?
1. good?
2. very good?
3. exceptional?
"20 metres of net oil pay"
can someone tell me (non-patch) what the significance is of this?
why was TLW able to get this news out so fast when HRN have "oil shows" and not able to provide the same details.
great day for AOI holders!
Hi TAMTAM,
In antwoord op u privébericht, droevig, maar kan enkel in publiek antwoorden.

Hey Red,
indeed its better then nothing and it means puntland is now on the map with the majors.
my guess the pieces left behind will be hoovered up by the big boys.
government was't happy with AOI as they have taken years to mobilise. that is why mes was brought in to have some competition.
hey red,
i'm feeling a little jaded given the market response to the news. i believe due to mes reducing their position to just the one concession - i assume the PR is isn't completely clear. hot money out.
not sure of the sea depth.. will let you know when i know.
shields knows keith hill and aoi. aoi apparently not really liked in puntland,? heard puntland governement no happy with aio's delivery, just repeating what i heard.
i have a feeling i know where the money will come from, via people involved with marauder in the past.
Mes off shore news late last night
http://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item.aspx?bid=Z-C%3aMES-1936047&symbol=MES®ion=C
number 4 confirmed late yesterday. !!!
until the deal is final no such details can be published so i doubt he will do anything.
the deal is held on the financing when that is complete all such detail will be PR'd.
meanwhile 1,2 & 4 now repeat, 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4 1,2 & 4
i'm a 1,2 and 4 man meself.
Hi Taff,
there's a time limit on mes getting the financing done - so shouldn't have to wait too long now.
no smoke without fire....
sniff sniff do i smell smoke
Hi Red,
for some reason I didn't see this post.
1. void the agreeements: I don't believe they can given that they exited without maintianing activity for 20 years. most concessions are given to company with the proviso that they undertake activities before a certain period. my guess they had to do something before 20 years was up.
2. I wasn't aware of this deal that rrl has made. i don't really understand the question. is it the same as above but from Puntlands prespective to TSG? please rephrase.
3. i had an interesting email from bob that gave some insight into how these types of deals operate. the main thrust of the argument is who has control of a certain area and in this case its the presidents clan. they are the bigest clan. they own by virtue of their power base the on shore concessions. try to take them away and there will be war.
4. somewhat but i refer to 3. its about who you want to mess with. my guess there won't be trouble.
Cheers
McB
Hey Red,
AOI PR'd some details which is HRN related last night.
regarding the halt I expect it needs time to get all the players to sign the paterwork.
