Why does this trend happen? There will be a small print at the bid, then immediately a larger hit at the ask.
For example,
20k@ 0025 (10:22:06), then a hit for 440k@ 0027 (10:23:22)
10k@ 0025 (10:39:35), then 400k@ 0026 (10:39:47)
I see this happen a lot.
Just saw it again. price was at 26, then got hit for 10k @ 25, then hit the ask for 2.3 mil. All within a minute time span.
Is it my optimism, or is this trading way thinner than it did a month or two ago? Anyone think the company bought back some shares?
MM's appear to be showing actual sizes for a change. Nothing holding it back now.
That's because that is the old number. 90345C207 is the old number. As of the 20th, 871324109 is the active number.
90345C207 US NATURAL GAS CORP COM STK
871324109 SYLIOS CORP COM STK (FL)
Think it might be some confusion because it is classified as a reorganization, not just a simiple name change? idk.

The TA told me yesterday:
"It sounds like you are getting incorrect information from your broker. The corporate action was only for a name change. It is a non-mandatory exchange, meaning the older certificates that have US Natural Gas listed instead of Sylios Corp. are still valid certificates. If your broker submitted shares for transfer, ask them for the tracking number of the package they sent to Olde Monmouth. Your broker can also contact us directly if they have any questions."

I gave this info to Scottrade, but I doubt they called Monmouth. They still believe they have to exchange the old certs for the new ones.
The brokers need to call Olde Monmouth and straighten this out
Think that might be part of the software by Esprida? Shamira Jaffer is affiliated with Esprida, but I'm not sure what her current role is. Depending on the website, I've seen her listed as a founding partner, the V.P., or a board member. It wouldn't surprise me if Esprida was also acquired by Sylios.
I'm not sure how accurate this Zoominfo site is, but it shows Signifi as $10-$25 Million revenue and 50-100 employees.
Esprida is $5-$10 million, with 20-50 employees.

I first contacted Scottrade and was told:
"After reviewing the security UNGS, the stock is having a mandatory name change. We are awaiting for the new shares to be received from the transfer agent before we can credit them into your account. At this time, we have not been informed on when these new shares will be received from the transfer agent."
It's not an energy company. Sylios is a holding company. They buy other companies as subsidiaries. They can be in any type of business. They do have a subsidiary now, the greater cannabis company, that is going to focus on selling medical mj related products. However, it's an unknown at this point. Signifi is the first acquisition, and it's a big one. $5 million revenue is nothing to sneeze at. Any marijuana related acquisitions only increase the market cap for this holding company.
3 mil just absorbed at 26, but bid didn't change... still 8 mil there
With the whole "signifi has control" statement. Sylios is a holding company, meaning it owns Signifi's stock. So how does signifi have control of management? Is signifi management buying out Anderson and taking over UNGS? Leaving Signifi as the subsidiary of parent company Sylios, but with a change in leadership.
Regardless, I think Signifi is only 1 piece of the UNGS puzzle. Why else would Sylios remain a holding company instead of just a name change to signifi? Got to be other pokers in that fire.
saw +10 million on the bid at 22 for a second. People want in, but no one wants to sell (or are not able to)!!
Woo Hoo! back to even! Originally bought at 34, averaged down when I could but didn't have funds when it dropped to 9. 22 is my break even point. It feels good. Feels reeeeal good.

McDonald's in Europe is already using kiosks in more than 800 restaurants. It's not exactly the same type of kiosk that Signifi specializes in, but imo is a good indicator of where the future is headed.
"Woycik predicts that nearly every fast-food restaurant in the country will deploy kiosks as soon as McDonald's launches them in the U.S"
I think the whole Redbox craze is dying down now that there are so many ways to get downloads. Signifi is smart to focus on the retail side instead of these cheap, low end units that are not useful for anything other than DVD's.

Why would the company sell shares, when it has announced the intention of a buy back?
And it's not just spreading lies for the purpose of selling shares. The PR has been confirmed by Signifi, which is a legit business that would have no reason to lie on UNGS behalf.
There is no dilution, imo.
"The Company intends to use the proceeds from the sale of these assets to complete its recently announced acquisition, further expand the operations of its newly formed subsidiary, The Greater Cannabis Company, LLC, and to repurchase shares of its common stock under the Company's Share Repurchase Plan."

http://www.insideview.com/directory/esprida-corp
Esprida has $11 million a year revenue. 31 employees. Most current info I saw had Signifi at 33 employees.
I tried to post the whole article, but it's formatted very badly.
When the Toronto luxury menswear shop Quattro Clothiers wanted to
expand its reach and increase its exposure, it didn’t embark on a costly
marketing campaign or build expensive new brick-and-mortar locations.
Instead, it did so via “The Quattro Shirt Lab,” an automated retail kiosk solution
developed by Canadian-based Signifi Solutions. Signifi’skiosks, called
SpotShops, use a tray system to carefully handle the shirts, which carry
price tags ranging from $225 to $395. Quattro is placing the units within a
three-to-four-mile radius of its brick-and-mortar store as a way to increase
its footprint and drive traffic back to the physical store.
“The Shirt Lab will attract new customers and turn heads when people see
high-end shirts being sold out of a machine,” said Paul Devellis, partner at
Quattro Clothiers.
With Signifi’s attention to design, the SpotShops definitely attract attention,
the benefits of an automated retail solution extend far beyond flash.
Moving past vending
There’s no doubt that retail is changing, and it’s a rare business that operates
in a single channel. Today, most retailers conduct business online as
well as through physical locations.
According to InternetRetailer.com, online sales for U.S. retailers are projected
to grow from $258.9 billion in 2013 to $434.2 billion in 2017. By then,
10 percent of all retail transactions are expected to take place online versus
about 6 percent today.
And a June 2013 study by research firm Cisco indicated that 3 in 5 consumers
around the world would be interested in shopping at a fully automated
self-service store with machines that dispense products and kiosks offering
virtual customer service.
“Customers are much more savvy today and know what products they
want,” said Shamira Jaffer, CEO of Signifi Solutions. “Long gone are the
Automated retail kiosks can expand your presence beyond
online and brick-and-mortar retailing while offering a host
of branding opportunities.

Automated Retail Kiosks

days where people had to touch and feel and talk with a salesperson to buy
a product. People are buying sight unseen on-line everyday. Automated
retail provides brands an intuitive and highly engaging solution that goes far
beyond vending. Moreover, retailers can integrate this in their omni-channel
strategy.” Additionally, people are curious to try this hip new interactive way
of purchasing.
Although the idea of buying a product from a machine has been around
for generations, automated retailing bears little resemblance to buying a
product such as a candy bar from a vending machine. Some of the items
already being sold via automated retailing include apparel, sunglasses,
watches, video games, perfumes, makeup and electronics.
Automated retail kiosks area natural marriage of online and physical retailing,
creating an additional sales channel by offering the convenience of
buying on-the-go while offering the instant gratification of buying from a
physical store.
San Francisco-based ZoomSystems, another provider of automated retail
solutions, is teaming with beauty company Benefit Cosmetics to place
“Glam Up & Away!” interactive, branded, retail kiosks in major airports.
Benefit Cosmetics will offer 30 of its best-selling products in each kiosk.
The company already has installed the machines in major airports, including
New York (JFK), Houston (IAH) and Las Vegas (LAS), with additional
deployments scheduled.
And Corona, Calif.-based AVT Inc. has teamed with Los Angeles-based
juice bar Kreation Juice to develop 24-hour automated juice machines outside
its Beverly Hills location. The Kreation Juice machines are just blocks
away from a “Cupcake ATM,” an automated retail device that sells Sprinkles
Cupcakes. Sprinkles also operates Cupcake ATMs in Chicago and Dallas.
Creating a branding opportunity
Still, for retailers to incorporate automated retailing into their business models
it has to offer benefits that ultimately will increase sales and add to the
bottom line. Probably the most obvious benefit of automated retailing is the
reduction in overhead through lower operating costs, a reduction in shrinkage
and increased sales per square foot.
“We could open up at least four Shirt Labs for the price of opening a traditional
store, save on the costs of leasehold improvements and reduce
management time and effort,” Devellis said.
“Automated retail

engaging solution that
goes far beyond vending.”

According to market analytics firm Asymco, average annual sales per
square foot for regional malls in the United States is $341, while the average
annual sales per square foot for the top 20 retailers is $787. Some
SpotShops, on the other hand, average more than $4,000 in annual sales
per square foot.
While opening a brick-and-mortar location can be a lengthy and expensive
process of leasing, zoning and construction, not to mention hiring and training
staff, a retail SpotShop can be placed wherever the brand’s prime customers
may be, extending that brand’s reach at a significantly lower cost.
“If you’re selling women’s cosmetics, for example, you could locate a
SpotShop in a grocery chain to reach a different demographic,” Jaffer said.
“Or you could locate at an airport to reach travelers if you’re selling those
last-minute products they might need.”
In addition to allowing physical retailers to extend their reach at a much
lower cost than building additional stores, automated retail allows online
merchants to establish a physical presence without the hassle of building
and staffing a physical store. Customers can purchase a product via an
online merchant’s website, then visit that merchant’s automated retail location
for immediate pickup. That scenario offers the immediate gratification
many shoppers seek while allowing both merchant and customer to save
on shipping costs.
Probably one of the most critical benefits of an automated retail solution is
the machine’s capability as an advertising and branding tool. The kiosks
themselves can be custom-designed to showcase a particular brand. Products
can be displayed in the kiosk window or via the machine’s LCD screen
while digital signage above the window and on each side can display
marketing campaigns that can be changed on the fly to appeal to a variety
of demographics.
“So as a company you can actually use that as a way to really control your
brand,” Jaffer said. “ The reach of one of our units in heavy traffic areas,
like an airport, can be as high as 1,000,000 passerby’s a day. The cost of
out-of-home advertising would be staggering to reach these numbers daily.
The advertising cost advantage alone makes this a sound business case,
not to mention the incremental revenue from one of our kiosks.”
In addition, the digital signage and LCD screen can be integrated with social
media to display customer reviews, connect to a company’s Facebook
page or provide information from a company’s blog.
“The SpotShop from Signifi provides a great marketing opportunity — huge
billboards on three sides and a glass display to showcase our products,”
Devellis said. “Moreover, the tie-in with Facebook is brilliant. Essentially,
we will have our own ever-changing, living, breathing advertising machine.”

I never even considered the advertising potential. It's like putting up billboards, in addition to selling merchandise!

Does this "MeNetwork mobile wallet" create a loophole around the issue of using major credit cards to purchase medicinal marijuana? I know part of the issue with the MJ business is the lack of banking, but maybe this solves that issue.
Spindle, Inc. Signs an Agreement with Signifi
Jan 14 14
Spindle, Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement with Signifi. Through this new relationship, Spindle's MeNetwork mobile wallet payment solution will be incorporated into Signifi's intelligent 'SpotShops' vending machines. According to Spindle, the integration of the MeNetwork mobile wallet functionality will enhance payment options for consumers, and enable them to pay for purchases at the 'SpotShops' vending kiosks using their smartphones. Customers can rent or purchase DVDs, video games, Apple-licensed products, upscale clothing, accessories and other items through these kiosks that are situated in well-trafficked areas such as airports and shopping plazas. The automated kiosks accept transactions via Visa, MasterCard and American Express, all of which can be conducted through the wallet.
Thanks. I'm holding both but can't decide which to add. I really feel good about UNGS but it would be nice to average down. But, the 0004 share price at HRDN is so tempting. Maybe I will just split it and try to add at each

Am I reading that right? He owns 40% of the common stock?

Comparing to the closest competition, these prices are outrageous.

How is UNGS not at least in the pennies right now?
Was just checking to see if Signifi would give up any info on this deal. They didn't. But I did find out that there is an investment banker from Source Capital Group working on this Signifi/UNGS deal. Encouraging that there is someone actively working on it. Only thing he could say was that Signifi will control the combined management of both companies, which was kind of said in the PR already.
Seems legit to me.
The transaction was completed on the 30th. Does this give any clues about the crazy volume spikes on the bid this past week?
Flex, I hit the goal on a different moneymail play before QLTS. I'll stick with the nation. I've seen too many of your plays succeed to give up after one loss. I just have to work on my timing. If I can just hit on one or two more, I'll be able to play more than one or two tickers at a time. I only play with what I can afford to lose, and right now my fun money is limited.
Let's hope UNGS makes me forget all about QLTS.
So pissed about QLTS. Held it for over a month. After watching it go down every day, then no volume... I sold. Now it's up 70% and running hard. Raaaaaaahhggg. So angry!!!
What does the pr imply by "signifi will have majority control"?
Of the 2,000,000 A/S, signify will own more than 1,000,000?
Medbox seems to be what is currently used in Colorado. It is currently at almost $300 million market cap with a similar product. So why are we not moving up? Guess I'll have to wait.... and do more DD. There is a lot of progress being made in this industry in a very short amount of time.
I'll admit, I had no idea what Zazzz was, so I'm glad I looked it up.
http://time.com/#62027/marijuana-vending-machine-unveiled-in-colorado/
The marijuana dispensing business almost seems like the only way to go. Medicinal MJ is legal in 21 states. Imagine how many of these kiosks can be installed. And I'm sure that number will grow over the next couple of years.
“There’s no room for theft by patients, employees … there’s no way to lose track of the inventory.”
“uses the same technology that checks age/ID fraud under the Control Meth Act. Your identity is confirmed against active biometrics.” Users with a medical marijuana card will swipe their driver’s licenses to identify themselves
I thought it was far fetched to sell MJ from a vending machine, but it is already happening!
I looked at the cached info from a "signify" google search. This is the info that used to be there, before the site went down.
