Thanks for posting :) Good to see some more forward motion and what looks to be a positive day on the market for us. Will we get to see .04 taken out to upside? :)
I hope the company makes good use off all the $$ I provided them for drilling! Looks like my payment went through for the RO with my broker. I wasn't sure as I made the payment on the day. I also had a little spare to pick up a few extras below the .04
Good luck to all for next week. I had some issues with my broker for the RO with a deposit going MIA but should work out ok to for Monday. I am off to China on Monday for a few months.
Yes you are right. It strengthens our case. Just a matter of completing the job for us. We will have more knocking on the door when the drilling is done.
Looks like a bit more activity happening in Tasmania area.
Oil search targets Tassie

It would be nice if it was one of those oil reserves that was drilled and then would be refilled naturally :D even more than the 3B if that happened! There have been a few studies in recent years about that in some areas. Bonus!

I think there were a few bigger orders starting to come through in that .0345 range where it was being tested.
Hey what happened with the sudden jump in pps?
Thanks Howard, I'll send a note to them and see. I have enough to clear it if I did another transfer.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy your RO allotment in multiple payments? or does it have to go through as a single payment with the broker? Otherwise I will have to wait till I can do another transfer into my account. My RO allotment is not that large compared to my current holding, so buying for me is more of a show of support. People might think I'm crazy, but thats just the kind of guy I am
Time to update the ibox and clean out the dead site links?
Yes I thought that was a bit much, but he will be my favorite Australian if he pulls it off.

Thanks seems to me that this recent new rig decision would contribute towards a greater chance of striking something at the lower depths if more directional pipe is needed to be put in. Improving the odds - that's what I like!
Something suggests to me that the specs on the new "state-of-the-art" rig with drilling technology that wasn't available a few years ago will provide a good future opportunities for further exploration and drilling, hence the significant interest in that option by the company.
"Empire is furthermore in the process of acquiring a state-of-the-art 15,000 foot hydraulic drilling rig straight off the production line. The new rig will finish production and will be ready to ship to Tasmania soon."
Hunt rig #3 - capable of drilling to depths of 2300 metres with 4-1/2” drill pipe but the15k feet on the new rig would be a lot deeper than the Hunt rig #3 ("2300 metres [7546ft] with 4-1/2” drill pipe and 3000 metres [9843ft] with 3-1/2" drill pipe") http://www.huntenergy.com.au/rig3.htm
From EEGC 8-K release in 2007:
http://msnmoney.brand.edgar-online.com/EFX_dll/EDGARpro.dll?FetchFilingHTML1?ID=5607545&SessionID=UU7xW3DEJqaiQu9
"Contractor hereby represents that the equipment specified in Schedule C has sufficient capacity to drill to a minimum depth of 2,300m with 4 1 / 2 ” drillpipe, and to set all strings of casing as specified in Item 6 of Schedule A under normal operating conditions."
The new rig would put a lot more on top of that Hunt #3 rig capability to go further into the lowest zone if required. http://www.empireenergy.com/img/sidebarbellvu1eanticline02.jpg

and maybe even allow for a bit of a hockey stick horizontal play while it is down there? - just like the horizontal drilling on the PPS at the moment.
Headlines in Austrailian newspapers about EEGC/GSLM
These are not related to Australia or EEGC/GSLM- these headlines relate to mining in New Zealand and the NZ green party and not the Australian one.
The news sources - 3 News, TVNZ, ODT, NZPA are all NZ.
NZ is not a part of Australia.
My stars point to August 3rd for coming into good alignment, so I imagine that may well be EEGC connected. That would mean getting through the Rights Offering and EL though and getting a rig back on site.
JMS (Just My Stars).
My postie delivered the Rights Offering today here in Wellington, New Zealand. Post dated 24th Feb.
Yes I still have the stock certificate in my possession. It looks like the full allotment was assigned to the new broker (where most of my trades were after Dec 2008) which is good.
It could be a situation like mine where I have some as physical certificate due to broker transfer and some with the broker I moved to, as I got 2 x notices in the mail. No mail for me yet in NZ.
Just a case of the media grabbing something out of a quote to grab attention. MB just sayin what he'd be forced to do If that was the case. MRT know they will be in a fight if they don't give MB the chance to drill after the financial crisis causing a halt to things.
I wasn't referring to all the lyrics. I'll be composing an EEGC medley as I see fit thank you. I have full confidence in 'Major Tom' coming up with a solution after working the problem.
Good news - looking forward to everything falling into place now.
You should of flipped them at .10 and brought back in off these lows. Am kicking myself for not doing that. Could of doubled my volume. Averaging .04 - so close to greener pastures it's not funny.

There are a number information stakeholders with that domain still listed that need to be changed over if that is the case. A google link back check will show that. A better transition should of been thought about.
If that is the case then why not register for one more year but point the gslm traffic to eegc domain? No charge in forwarding, just the small annual domain register fee. It is loss of important traffic to just drop it.
The domain names are usually looked after by the developer on behalf of the client. Depends who is looking after the registration. There is a period after a domain expires that it can still be reregistered ok. More than likely it has been over looked for payment and someone needs to give the company a reminder.
The more horizontal pps direction we see, the more the pressure will build up for a break out from the trading once some news appears. Some are having fun with flipping shares on a daily basis with a bit of a parse the parcel game going on.
I can also remember saying last year in this post about things taking a while:

Only 200 shares to put it back to .04 - similar to yesterday with a small trade at the end to push it back up. What will the end of the week bring?
Hopefully that's the last edit needed on that document so that it will all fall into place.
I just did a scan through for 2010.
P 3. "The shares will be ready for delivery on or about January , 2010." - seems odd to keep it at this with only a few days left for Jan.
Were you able to pick up anything of substantial change within the update?
Interesting point Howard. It would be good to see 3D seismic data for the area. What happens if the drill bit stops in a place where say one meter to the side of it is the oil?
With a bit of a shake up, bounce back, and some familiar names making some comments about the EL 14/2009 I think you might be right. Time will tell as they say.
EEGC will hold its gains better when the concrete is set (application + successful drill programme). It just doesn't seem to be fast setting concrete that's all.
