A while back someone asked what Applied Digital was. I answered back that it was symbol DIGA, a company with similar interests. Somebody brought it up as in we had an interest in them. In my Zeal to answer quickly I was probably wrong.
DIGA is applied Digital Solutions and is in a merger with Digital Angel. They got a contract with a foreign air force for Personal Locator Beacons. This misguided my judgement as it being the one. Close, but not exactly up our alley.
Sorry for the mis-lead. I think the question was about a company with Applied Digital ... in the name but is still a private company. Sorry I started looking down the wrong path and reported the mis-information. Just trying to be helpful too quickly. Accuracy would have been better.

We do appreciate your efforts and posts Hardtail. Sounds like everybody is doing their best. When SouthernGal posts info about RFID, that is general info in nature, she doesn't claim it belongs to SmartWear. Just general related info.
When you posted the patent #'s and said they belong to SmartWear she looked them up and said it is RFID but doesn't link to SmartWear or Reed in the patent. She was correct in saying she would delete them as fact but would restore them if you/we/anybody proves otherwise. That is just being a good moderator.
Now, it is easier to see where you are coming from. You might have access to know they 'NOW' belong to SmartWear and you claimed they were SmartWear's. But, the patent link doesn't say SmartWear. I believe you are honest with your claim but you did not know the ones listed did not originate as SmartWear/Reed.
I know there are more because I had a knowledgeable guy pull some up for me a while back. Now, I am trying to get him to find them again.
Everybody keep up the good work..and lets get some upward stock movement.. this waiting it out is tiresome.
GLTA
those patent #'s from Hardtail are probably previous to SmartWear and have been since acquired by SmartWear. Hardtail was pretty adamant that they belonged to SmartWear now. So that may be true now but it doesn't look like they were on the orininal patent even as an assignee. I didn't look up 100% of them, but some of them are older and were probably acquired more recently.
It appears SW is active in getting more patents &/or overseas and Canada.
I hope they are builing up for something big.
Some patents are purchased or acquired by people or business years later. This may have been the case for one or more if you looked them up. You would not see that the patent was to Reed, (SmartWear). But they may reportedly be ours now.
They all could very well be ours now, even if our name wasn't attached to the patent.
I will post my e-mail in the "private post" for you. I would be happy to look them up and see if I can put a name on them.
I know my CPA said it was even easier to find it in the Europe listings and it was Reed/Jordan/Reed.
Thank you Hardtail for the info. GLTA
I can't imagine why someone would have posted unrelated #'s.
I did not have the time to reference them last night, but can look them up today if there is a way to access those #'s again.
I will try again today as time permits. GLTA
Thanks
I think patents are usually assigned in a persons name. I will have him look it up and give me the links, it was Reed/Jordan/Reed if I remember correctly. One as recent as this year in Europe, must be getting ready to go global.
They can also be looked up by the law firm, but their law firm has over 1000 listed so it would take awhile to look through them.
I did not have much time to look back into it. I will try to get it done.
GLTA
I understand most of your points even if I don't agree with all of them. I read the 230 million as well but they are not yet trading, it might be the plan but it hasn't yet happened that way. Their shares have not yet joined GLGT, they can't be the ones selling at .08, as far as I read it is still 100 million of GLGT. They must be having delays.
SW put out that release (on May 28 I believe) to say the deal was done, (paperwork for them I'm sure), and would shortly have the paperwork done to return to the OTC. Even if they did get the paperwork done and filed the SEC always reserves (my understanding) 30 days to respond. It is likely we will wait till June 28 or later, early July, to hear from SW. I imagine they gotta wait to hear as well.
If you take the 230 mil shares added as gospel then why can't you accept the $2 mil 2007 rev and $10 2008 projected rev a little more seriously as well. I hope they are trying to be truthful, I don't want to be a sucker.
I bought in because I believe something big is going to happen and I want to be on the ground floor. I understand your not putting much weight in it till after it happens but I don't want to wait till after the fact to invest at a higher price. (maybe it is more of a gamble then, i am ok with that, - it is my investment play $ - I don't intend to lose it).
I don't want just hard facts on this board. that would be nothing but data. I like peoples perceptions and hopeful insights, even if misguided. I do understand you want the facts, 'nothing but the facts'.
keep writing, we will keep reading.
GLTA
Sorry, the last symbol was not a y
www.uspto.gov/patft no y on the end.
I did not hurry with a patent link since you said it was worthless.
here is the patent office. www.uspto.gov/patfty
let me know if you need more, I will call and get it.
I gotta go now, got a patient waiting in the chair.
p.s. I don't know how SW insiders/investors can make a profit at anyprice. There was a price paid up-front for their shares as well. You can bet it was more than 3 cents. We haven't seen yet, for sure, what a SW share is worth. I don't see that they have been added yet to the total, unless that is the total value of all SW shares, the 230 million you mention. (I guess that is what you have been saying that the SW company and all its shareholders have been valued at under $6 million base on todays closing of 2 1/5 cents.
I gotta think SW puts a higher value than 6 million on itself. There would not be very many people getting rich off 6 million if thats what you think their plan is. stock price will matter. you gotta think they have a legitimate growth plan.
now I really gotta get to somewhere else. GLTA
Yes, I had my accountant do it for me. I wasn't doing it for any legal reason. Just wanted to check them out. No lawyer needed to find them. My accountant/CPA is ex-IRS and seems to know where to dig to find what he needs. I asked him to look it up for me. No big deal. I didn't try to make a big deal of it. I just said I had him look it up and there are several there. You are right, many patents go nowhere.

OEMs and product designers new opportunities for competitive advantage through increased efficiency,
accuracy and product differentiation.
What you'll learn:
Differences between RFID and existing bar-code and contact technologies
How embedded RFID expands beyond early Wal-Mart and Department of Defense
supply chain implementations for new applications in:
Medical disposable authentication
Smart shelves and smart cabinets
Secure contactless payments
Asset tracking
Inventory restocking and controls
User-specific machine configuration
Unique technical and business considerations for embedded RFID
Various ways in which real-world companies are presently using RFID in their products
to drive revenue and differentiation

Thanks for the info, it is interesting, but it doesn't look like it affects SmartWear, even through the backdoor, (at least I pray not).
As far as your patent question. I had my CPA look up SmartWear through the U.S. Patents office a while back and he found 7 patents and 7 pending or applied for, (if I remember correctly). It was substantial and it does lend credence to somebody's past post about patent infringment revenue as a possibility for SW. I can have him look them up again and pass on the 'links or sites' if you wish.

As a serious question, I gotta ask, how much weight do you even give a chart on a PINK penny stock ??? This trades $3000 to $1000 a day most of the time. I have bought that much in a single day on occasion. Sounds like some know their chart work but how much can it really apply here??? Pleas respond with why it applies, if it does. (Low volume, obscure stock, still pink sheet as of today).
I don't think many are watching the chart on this one. I don't think many are watching GLGT at all.
I think it is all about SmartWear and what they bring to the table. Once they have applied their stocks (shares) to GLGT and start making public their intentions and progress... then I think this will fly. I believe big in the RFID/GPS story and I think SmartWear is poised to be a player.
I have banked on it.

I never met or even spoke to Former CEO Gary S.
However, 'slimmy crook' might be a little strong for a guy who was hired to do a job, and he did it. It is my understanding they hired an 'excutive type', they don't come cheap, for this merger deal. He took what they paid him, (I'm sure the amount was agreed to when they brought him in).
I don't like being diluted either.
Spell it out for us if you know something we haven't read here. The reason I say this is because I have about $200k in this deal and if "crook' is really part of the deal then I gotta be worried. I am still positive on the merger unless something illegal is going on. (which is what 'crook' implies). Let me know if there is more to know. I would rather hear the worst and be prepared for it. Otherwise, GET ER DONE, Let's start making deals.

They are stock symbol DIGA, they also had a recent merger and have their hand in RFID technologies.
They is alot moving and shaking. There is a good online newsmag RFID news, you can subscribe for free. Lots of e-mail articles about the industry.
Had a family member pick up a small pile of shares today. I can't imagine it being this cheap very much longer. The industry is exploding and we need to come out of our caccoon soon.

It has been a month since the last post.
Anybody know anything at all ?????
I'd be happy to hear from someone with any information.
GL
I sincerely hope that is not how things take place.
You do sound like you have it pegged for one way the senario couild be playing out. I do hope you have it wrong.
I will wait it out to see how it plays out.
GL to al
I have been exited about the prospecs of this combined company and I would hate to change attitude now. However, I am not excited about the dramatic increase in Global shares, (even withouit SW added to it).
There has been a lot of good information set out here. A $ grand a day for 30 days would financially punish Global. However, if management said a few days and it took 30 days...there is a possible good reason. Even once management thought it was good and filed it to be done ... I believe it is standard for the SEC to have 30 days to respond.
I doubt our guys were in a delay tactic, I hope they were just waiting for the news of acceptance like us.
I have given the benifit to them at every turn. NOW IT IS TIME TO GET ER DONE !!!
GL to all
Correction on a previous post where someone said 330 million shares at .12 would be $400 million... it would actually be $40 million which is probably very sane for SmartWear. IMO
At $1.20 a share it will be about $400 million, (with 330 OS) and I hope to see it get there.
GL to all
Glad to have you thinking nice thoughts, (I assume it was good times)
And as you would say, .... everything I said was true.
It may not apply here, but it was all true to comments made earlier on this board.
GL to all
If Patents are an issue ... It wouldn't be that a Pink Sheet couldn't legally enforce it ... it is probably most Pink Sheets are not financially in the position to go after anyone.
Somebody was correct in saying that if this was an issue, (I'm not saying it is), then you wouldn't want to shut the offender down, you would want to collect a royalty or licence agreement.
(There was a small company that almost shut down Blackberry a few years ago and received 600 million for the patented technology Blackberry used).
GL to all
On what news or fact do you base this information?
I hear what you are saying and I also wish there had been less shares added to the OS.
Some felt GLGT had value, even with no sales and no prospects of any, (without more $ for R&D and a sales force).
If I had spent time and $ building the structure for a growing tech business, getting patents in this expanding tech business and developing business relationships in this business, then I would say it had value before I ever sold one item. Building the business, even to be in business, has some value the day you are ready to open the door.
SmartWear is just opening its door for business. IMO it is worth a lot more than its sales record. It has added value just getting ready for business. If it has the patents, potential sales and license agreements that have been suggested than it is worth a whole lot more than the stock price suggests today, (even 330 mil @ 0.04). (I'd say we are buying future earnings, but obviously we expect a lot, and fast).
I bought shares in advance of sales because I am betting it will take off running.
The 'old' Global CEO is gone. Gary Shroud was a fairly recent CEO and no doubt part of the SmartWear team since he just took over months ago.
100 mil global and 230 mil SmartWear for a total of 330 sounds logical. You know SmartWear will have a bigger % then Global. 1/3 vs 2/3 or 30% vs 70% or anywhere in that neighborhood is inevitalble. We (as Global) can't absorb a company doing business and not add a significant # of shares. There is no surprise here.
The question will be, 'how much value does SmartWear add for taking over and becoming the dominant shareholder'?
IMO
GL to all
Luv, write them so we can read them. Always interested in what you have to say, even if I don't always agree.
I think the CEO of Global was a recent placement. If he was installed so recently he was probably put there by SmartWear as part of the team. That is why he was given a salary plus shares to help in the SmartWear merger. The SmartWear CEO is now the overall CEO and the recently past CEO of Global is now the overall President.
If Global is 100 million shares and you soon expect approx 300 million shares then I would assume the other 200 are awarded to the SmartWear crowd, (company). It is the major player of the two companies. It only makes sense it will be the majority of shares. These two companies can't merge and not have SmartWear be the dominant # of shares. (to the victor go the spoils).
Global is 100 million shares by itself, SmartWear is worth as much or more, (expect dilution of shares but higher overall company value).
IMO GL to all
Any purchase at these prices are a buy. Not many shares available down here. I am happy to wait it out a while and reap some reward. I have to think some people have capitulated and sold out at the bottom. The deal is done without anymore news and no price hike. Some give up. (Or it is the new shares just getting their $ out).
Everything takes time.
GL to all.
It doesn't appear to me that it is anyone with a large position selling in quantity.
Yesterday I was filled with 80k and 50k at 0.035 and the rest went unfilled at 3 1/2 cents. Today the other 145k were filled at 3 1/2 but in several small blocks. 25k, 10k, 50k,50k, 10k.
It took seven fills to get 275k shares at 0.035
Everything in good time.
Good luck, I will wait it out a while longer.
Now that you mention it, I do see 96.4 million Shares Out. Thats new. I expect GLGT becomes the minority of shares in the 'New" company structure, but I didn't expect to be diluted even more before they announce the structure of the 'New Combined Company'. I still have big expectations but this does wear on me.
GL to all
With all this effort of getting GLGT current and off the Pink Sheets you've got to expect the plan is to be on another exchange, besides the OTC:BB. (there is significant cost just to proceed this far). Bigger expectations.
I would expect a reverse split at some point to have it above the magic $1, to qualify for another exchange.
I have thought this since the beginning of the proposed merger. I of course want the share price to be high. No idea of when, but I thought that was the plan. Be on NASDAQ or some such thing and attract REAL $, worldwide. GROW GROW GROW
GL to all
I also believe it to be a high flyer. I paid .06 and had several others buy in at .05 to .06 at my 'promotion'.
I of course bought a whole lot more down here at .03 and hope they did as well.
I still believe it will soar when all the facts are out.
Hold on for a few months, let the dust settle. I gotta think it will at least double from your entry point.
Your friend is gonna double your $. Just give it more time.
GL
Where is 'Chicken Little' ?? Some say the sky is falling.
I am buy and hold, so far.
Yes, I have to agree with you. Who sold them to me?????
I sat with a Bid of 3 for the day and picked up all I could. I had to average my price down since I was a buyer at 6 as well.
Still expecting a profit after all is announced and done.
GL to all
I understand your logic on the 'playing both sides' issue. I am sure there are many who feel this stock will be stuck in a trading range, no real reason to move. If I knew I was in one of those I would probably play both sides and just keep making $ as well. (and good job at making $).
I have yet to sell a single share as I believe this is one of the success stories. I would hate to be wrong on this one.
Do keep a core position at all times. If this does make a solid move to the upside you want to be in on it.
G L to all
Only been around for a few months so I suppose I've sounded like a pumper. However, I have not sold a single share.
I am very disappointed in the slow progress of this deal.
But, still excited in the longer term growth of this company, ...... no longer as a penny stock.
Silly to suggest Liberty could be set up by SmartWear. Liberty has been around GLGT long before SmartWear even found GLGT.. just my opinion from the timeline as I read it.
What he says scares me as I do have some serious $ tied up here. I'm still counting on this happening soon. (or my name is $hit, to friends and family).
Good Luck to all (me included)
It appears they are making license agreements, (leasing out the patented technology), and etc. SmartWear was mentioned, with others, on morning shows, (I think I saw it on Good Morning America, about emerging technologies)
It appears things like Ident=a=kid would have a continuous monthly fees and etc. The contracts are just starting, this is a company in its infancy. Perfect time to associate with it and get in on the early explosive growth.
I know I am a little over zealous about this technology and its potential. glad to have found it.
Good Luck
I haven't been around very long but I am surprised how quick some are to bad-mouth SmartWear.
Until the structure of the deal is announced I doubt SmartWear can comment much about Global. Ever since the 'Binding Letter' was announced, people have bashed SmartWear for not doing or saying enough.
I want this to happen quick, (even yesterday), and I want to benefit $'s from the deal. But, I want them to do it right the first time. They are bringing alot to this deal. Identification in clothing is such a small part of 'SmartWear'. (The name doesn't do them justice). The patented technology they own expands to so many areas of commerce, as well as personal and National safety issues. Take the time to go through the entire websit, (even there I'm sure i'm not getting all of whats available).
I am still excited about this.....(not worn down yet)...
Good Luck
I was interested in SmartWear before they hooked up with GLGT.
It was my understanding their plan was to go public with an IPO. I wanted to get in on it as early as possible. I was waiting for the IPO.
Then, the deal came along with GLGT to get symbiotic technology and a shell corp for an inexpensive reverse merger. (inexpensive compared to an IPO).
I bought a bunch of GLGT to be in early and intend to buy more after the merger takes place and we see where the shares stand.
I am not worried about being listed as a Delaware corp or from the corporate friendly Henderson Nevada or San Diego.
I will give mine just a little time......
It was I.
I am new here, what do you guys know. why the low share price? to many shares OS? Going out of business sale??
Loods like a Viable company, doing business.
I see when it had over 800 millios shares outstanding they authourized a 1 for 50 reverse split. Howver I see 3 to 4oo million shares still out now.
did they reissue that many shares or did they not do the full 1 for 50 (and do a 2 for 5).
what is the story here.
i have part of GTAP (sibling company) and decided I would be exposed at both ends.
