Gcanderheggen, I don’t have that much invested in the POS company. At my age I have no business investing in any of these .ob or .pk crap companies.
I now have 6 shares times $290.2233 (my break even amount) equals $1,741.37 (amount I have invested).
There was far too much pumping on this board by one or two individuals that I became suspicious early in the year and made my last purchase was Feb 08 at .02.
I am not going to average down…that's for sure.
Should have added for me to break even we will have to hit a PPS of $290+.
Now trading at .39 a share.
I use Quicken and Scottrade. Now according to Quicken I now have 6 shares of DirectView. We opened at $1 and are now trading at .39....not good!!
We will have some stiff competition.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=video+conferencing&aq=1&oq=VIDEO+CONFER
Better than flipping a stock that will not go up... short the hell out of it. You know that is what DirectView will be doing.
“DirectView Technology Group is poised for growth with a product line that includes superior videoconferencing technology solutions and services and state of the art vehicle and asset recovery and tracking devices and services. A sampling of DirectView's customers include the Trump Organization, Burger King, Coca-Cola, BellSouth, AT&T, Travelocity.com, Del Monte, The Central Intelligence Agency and the New York City Police Department.”
Didn’t the other pr state “DirectView's customers include both past and present the Trump….etc.???
Past and present were removed from this pr.
What a poc this company has turned out to be. I thought it was a pretty good company reading the testimonials by some on the board touting the product, future contracts and the growing business. I now believe that some on this board were “used” by hisu to draw in naive investors. We were all fooled.
After the 1/10,000 I will have 6.2589 shares of the new poc company. Gee... I wonder if I should sell.
Happy Thanksgiving all.
This from one turkey to a rafter of many turkeys.
How about both...
Dead Cat Bounce….
Anyone here think that there is a good chance of a “dead cat bounce” with our HISS?
Answer…Possibly after the r/s for a short time then back down to the pits again we fall.
zero volume right now.
Maybe this new guy will bring with him a new way in the fine art of “scalping” shareholders.
"On numerous occasions he represented the Potawatomi Indian Tribe, defending their rights to fish in the Great Lakes and initiating their rights to legally operate casinos."
Could the Company be doing a share buyback?
:-*
We frown on this, makes us feel out of the loop.
Thank God!
Wayne, how can you flip a stock like HISU that has been sitting on .0001 for months upon months? Some can't sell the stock at .0001 and if it should spike to .0002 (fat chance) the company will just dump more shares on the market canceling out those that wanted to sell their stock.
You talked about flipping before, but on this stock I just don't get it.
WHO IS BUYING WHO?
I thought we were being bought out...but now we get this.
"BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct 30, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (OTCPK: HISU) is pleased to announce that the Company has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire 100 percent of the assets of DirectView Video Technologies, Inc. Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. will disclose further details of the agreement upon completion of a 45-day due diligence period. The Company is seeking to bolster its product portfolio through the acquisition of DirectView assets in order to increase revenue, reach multiple vertical markets and improve shareholder value."
I guess this is what we can expect when our compnay is run by the three stooges.
Then there is Grantham age 70 who has a totaly different perspective.
“Grantham believes it is likely the market will break its recent lows as the world is faced with "a meat grinder of global earnings disappointments" in 2009. His projections are downright scary: He says there's a 70% chance the S&P will sink to 800, and a 30% chance it will touch 600.”

It's getting ugly out there.
Almost 14M shares traded right now; don’t you wonder who is buying? I know one (mike) that is unable to sell their shares, has been trying to sell his shares for weeks. It looks like HISU is just keeps pumping out more shares to the ill informed. This is a good time for you to buy more shares clare, I think that we have hit bottom.
Based on their previous PR about the conversion, Brian must have had a change of heart. He probably thought that he was tired of looking out for the shareholders. I guess that he is now saying ‘screw the shareholders, we’ll just issue more PR’s and draw in more suckers.’ We need money for our grandiose lifestyle.
From previous PR:
"The Board's opinion is that our current share price is not representative of the true value of the Company. This exchange is being pursued to help reduce our float and is the first step in restructuring the Company's common shares. We feel that this exchange is in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders," stated Brian Riley, Chairman of Board of Homeland Integrated Security Systems.
Coco...below is intersting from the link you posted. If HISS conversion is somewhat the same how would someone sell the preferred if they wanted too.
"Will the Series B Preferred Stock be transferable or trade on a stock exchange or other public market?
No. The Preferred Stock will not trade on any stock exchange or other public market."
Well it looks like I am one of the fortunate ones; I don’t own a million shares of this Company to convert. My first share purchase was 4/11/06, last purchase was 2/21/08. I am down like everyone else, I am down 99.64%. There came a time when I began to question ALL the bull that was being posted on this board by some and the bull that was being posted by the Company. I believe some were being used/mislead by the Company to pump the stock.
Now what happens if they announce a major contract with NC and your shares are in the conversion state and you can’t get to them? Now wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants?
I know that there is “fat chance” of that happening.
Steady as she goes.
The continued daily downward trend of the market has little to no effect on this little Powerhouse of a Company.
We are flat lined…again. The trend continues.
Interesting...looks like that essay with different versions has been around for quite a while, but it’s still true.
Both you & Snopes are on the ball.
OT---Something to think about.
Jay Leno wrote this; it's the Jay Leno we don't often see.
As most of you know I am not a President Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it seems to hit the mark
'The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, 'What are we so unhappy about?''
A.. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?
B.. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?
C.. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?
D.. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?
E.. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state?
F.. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?
G.. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.
H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.
I.. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.
J.. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames, thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.
K.. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.
L.. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
M.. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?
Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S. , yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it......are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the 'Media' told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day. Make no mistake about it.
The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an 'other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable'' discharge after a few days in the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?
Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by 'justifying' them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!
Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.' 'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms&nb sp;tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'
Jay Leno
Not much interest for HISS Friday with ZERO volume. The company couldn't even dump a share or two on the market, there was no one out there to buy them.
I think that we have all just about given up.
Not sure that article applies to HISU has to be for other companies.
DOW is down $396 pre market dragging the other exchanges down. Does anyone believe that this will have a negative effect on our HISS driving our stock price down even further? Gee…I hope not.
Skier, maybe you should change your broker. Someone is trading according to Scottrade:
Homeland Integrated Security Systems Inc HISU:OTC
Sector: N/A Industry: N/A
0.0001 0.00 0.00% 12,164,999
It's probably the company dumping more shares onto the market.
Who in the heck is buying?????
At least now we know where our money is going when we buy these pink sheet stocks like HISS.
The Boys are making out like champs and we are the chumps.
Does anyone know how many companies are bidding on this contract?
A way to make money on HISU.
I was thinking the way to make money on HISU is by way of an r/s. Lets say we have a 1/1000 r/s and HISU is trading at .10 after the r/s. If I was to short it at .10 and ride it back down to lets say .0002 I could easily make a killing.
But then I did a Google search and found out differently. The pump and dumpers would probably take over the board and kill me financially.
http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/otcpinksheetshortselling.asp
I wonder if Fred and The Boys shorted the stock when it was trading at .04. Just a thought!!!
Hey, someone has to pay their salaries. Thanks to the continued issuing of their pink sheets, management (?) is doing just fine.
Hey Spencer, I think that you and just a few others on this board have a pretty good idea of what is going on with this company, the others here continue to look at this company thru rose colored glasses. The company loves them.
Don't you just wonder who is buying this stock; do they not know the history of this company? Right now the volume is at 266,257,101 shares. I can not imagine who is buying.
If they need go into mass production, does anyone know where the CT's are assembled, in NC or in China?
Am I being optimistic or what?
Flat-lined today… we started at .0001 as our low and ended with .0001 as our high.
Are we dead or what?
I say enough with the PR’s, they only hurt us.
"by the FLIES that gather on this body"
Are you insinuating that we are dead? That comment is not going to go over very well on this board.
We only want to see positive messages on this board to go along with the fluff PR’s, you just don’t get it Dude.
Listen to the Nationwide Teleconference....it's on the web site.
These guys at HISS have to laughing their ars off as they dump more of the company shares on very gullible investors.
My last purchase was on 2-21-08 @ .002, and I thought I was getting a bargain at this price. I probably purchased these shares right after one of their fluff PR’s.
