I agree that the prices we are able to buy at now will amaze people in a few short months. Those of us that have put the time and research (and a bit of patience) into ITRO will be rewarded nicely. As the dates for approval get nearer, the masses will jump on and pay whatever it takes to get a piece of something special!!!
Nice solid close on a Friday afternoon. We were green and I for one will take that!!!
I think everyone is just waiting for stability with CYDF. It does appear that we have hit the bottom, but some take a while to be convinced.
I have attached a great article that came out today on Itronics:

AXcess News: Green, or Alternative, Fertilizer Demand Grows on Inflation, Pollution Concern and Shortages
Thursday December 13, 4:01 pm ET
HOUSTON, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 13, 2007 -- Itronics, Inc. (OTC BB:ITRO.OB - News) -- An agricultural crisis is brewing in the United States which is pulling farmers from several directions. Crop shortfalls are pushing grain prices to record levels while fertilizer costs, already at record levels, are forecast to rise even further when the 2008 planting season begins.
The 2007 planting season saw the price of fuel and fertilizer soar and while this year's grain crops prove to be a windfall when weighing farm income, the cost to produce those crops is jeopardizing those farmers' very survival, critics argue.
Environmental concerns are adding to farmers' woes as groundwater pollution levels rose from nitrate runoff due to more land being put into corn production last spring, fueled by exuberance towards ethanol as an alternative fuel. But the new buzz isn't alternative fuel, but alternative, or green, fertilizer and few manufacturers are prepared to fill it. Enter, Itronics, Inc. (OTC BB:ITRO.OB - News), a Reno, Nevada-based maker of green fertilizer made entirely from recycled photochemicals.
While you might smirk in thinking that a tiny maker of green fertilizers in Reno could ever hope to meet farmers' demands for an alternative fertilizer by recycling photochemicals, Itronics' founder Dr. John Whitney says the company is only using about 0.25% of the nation's photochemical waste and that thanks to two new processes recently announced, Itronics can manufacture its line of GOLD'n GRO liquid fertilizers using non-photographic source materials. Whitney also said the company has taken production capacity up 250% in preparation for the 2008 planting season.
Itronics operates the only plant in the United States approved by the EPA to recycle photochemicals and said in a press release earlier this week that two processes to recover metals and sulfur through a leach process were underway that could both supply the company with non-photochemical resources for manufacturing its line of green fertilizers while also providing a way for the mining industry to reduce hazardous waste.
Phosphate costs are rising and just yesterday nitrogen costs went up. Both phosphates and nitrates are largely used in bulk fertilizer manufacturing. During the 2007 planting season farmers saw fertilizer prices climb dramatically and looking forward into the 2008 growing season, prices could double over 2006 rates.
Dr. Whitney says that as the cost of traditional fertilizer rises, Itronics' GOLD'n GRO line of alternative liquid fertilizers are "becoming more economical to use." The company has been doing all it can in anticipation of meeting a growing demand. Weighing demand against skyrocketing costs of food production, Itronics' timing may be ideal.
It's possible that demand in 2008 could outstrip Itronics' ability to fill orders, though Whitney said in a telephone interview Thursday that the company's development of its non-photochemical leach process could more than satisfy Itronics' future needs. But he also said, "The second half of 2008 will be an interesting period for Itronics."
Let's just all be patient and keep supporting a great company. Then we can all talk about our rewards!
I believe the penny days come before EPA approval. Then after the approval, the sky is the limit! IMHO.
When you find a great product, one should support it. Then one will get their fair due when the time is right. That is why I will continue to buy at whatever price. I have bought this stock at all levels. I know the support will pay off in more ways than one.
The more stability it shows, the more investors it will get. The more investors it gets, the more money for the company. The more money for the company, the more great products they produce. The more great products they produce..., well you all get the picture!
Here's hoping for a great new year!!!
That is why I quit checking the forum on Yahoo finance. I got so sick and tired of hearing the "get rich quick or die" folks making up accusations to down this company. I put more money into this stock every pay day because I believe in its future. Oh yeah, it beats the heck out of a savings account as well!
Well I believe us smart ones are seeing the vision 20/20!!!
Agreed!
That is what I really like about this company. We are invested in a company that will make the environment better and us money! This is like having our cake and eating it too!
Most of the time when dates are out a bit like this one (3+ months), they are estimating long rather than short. That works opposite when dates are given within 30-60 days as they are aiming at the short term investor. These folks have little patience and jump ship when dates are too far out. I believe this is what we saw early yesterday when the sell off occurred. When a date exceeds 60 days, they are talking to the longs in a stock or as I like to call us, the true investors.
According to the below press release from yesterday, the EPA approval is expected in May or June of 2008 after which sales can proceed!!! The main thing to remember is that this is closing in on a done deal. The factual information is in the hands of the EPA and all we do is wait a little while for the approval!!!

Itronics Updates Progress on GOLD'n GRO Guardian Deer Repellent Fertilizer and Silver/Gold Recovery Technology Developments
Tuesday December 11, 9:00 am ET
RENO, Nev., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Itronics Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ITRO; Frankfurt and Berlin Stock Exchanges: ITG) today reported significant progress by its subsidiary, Itronics Metallurgical, Inc., on product and process developments that will both improve the Company's bottom line and its reputation for environmental excellence. Other recent highlights include:
-- The GOLD'n GRO Guardian deer repellent fertilizer application has been
received by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and has been
assigned a review classification number that provides for a 180-day
registration review period. This puts the registration on a schedule to
be completed in May-June, 2008, after which sales can proceed.
-- Revisions to the photochemical blending procedures that will increase
throughput capacity for GOLD'n GRO manufacturing by 250 percent have
been successfully implemented.
-- Negotiations are continuing with potential new suppliers of used
photochemicals, with startup on one new contract completed in November,
and another tentatively scheduled to begin in February 2008.
-- Work is continuing on equipment design and specification for the
expansion of the solids handling capacity in the silver refinery. Part
of the equipment has been received and engineering for equipment
installation is now proceeding.
Two new leaching processes that are under development, Itromet FeLix Process and Itromet SuLix Process, were described by Itronics in a news release dated November 6, 2007. Development of operating parameters for the two processes has been completed and bench tests to demonstrate the operating sequence for both processes, on a "start to finish" basis, are now underway. A pilot-scale leach circuit that uses both processes in sequence has been specified and sizing of process equipment and identification of specific items of equipment to develop an installation budget is underway. Layout design and engineering for the pilot-scale operating leach circuit is expected to begin early in the first quarter 2008.
A series of small pilot scale leach tests using the Itromet SuLix Process has been completed with essentially complete sulfur recovery from material containing 84 percent sulfur and 3 percent silver. More than 95 percent of the test lot of material was put into liquid solution leaving the silver in the solid residue for recovery by refining. This series of tests demonstrates that large improvements in silver refining capacity will be achieved once this process is fully operational due to the large bulk reduction of the silver-bearing solids.
The Itromet FeLix and SuLix processes are demonstrating the ability to separate nutrient metals and minerals (iron, zinc, and sulfur) from silver and gold bearing solids. The nutrient metals and minerals are put into liquid solution for use in the GOLD'n GRO liquid fertilizers, and the silver and gold bearing solids are sent to the refinery for recovery of the precious metals from non-nutrient impurities.
The Itromet FeLix and Itromet SuLix technologies improve resource use because nutrient metals that are now being wasted will be recovered for beneficial use once the complete leaching system is operational.
"Itronics' advancement and completion of new GOLD'n GRO products and vertically integrated silver/gold recovery technology is a result of years of research and development that has made the photochemical recycling technology and the GOLD'n GRO brand of environmentally compatible fertilizer a success," said Dr. John Whitney, Itronics President. "The GOLD'n GRO Guardian deer repellent fertilizer is made possible by the nutrient delivery technology embodied in the GOLD'n GRO fertilizers. We are truly excited by the way these developments are progressing and the potential for sales expansion that they represent."
Good news and the stock falls! I too am having a hard time trying to figure this out.
Agreed. The fast risers tend to fall hard.
Today we started to make a bit of a comeback. Low volume, but we seem to be stabilizing back over .01. We have a long way to go to get back to our highs from just a few weeks back, but upward movement is always good!
PRXT,
In answer to your question to me, yes I read it and must have missed the news that is making this thing drop. Please shed some light on this for me as I debate whether to buy more to average down a bit or just wait.
Well, today pretty much sucks!
I agree. I try to buy more up on the dips to have as strong of a base as possible for when the real money comes in.
I know most have seen these PR's, but I wanted to remind everyone why the day to day PPS does not matter until early 2008 when the EPA approves the new products. Farmers want the product yesterday!!!
AXcess News: New Deer Repellent Can't Clear EPA Soon Enough, Farmers Say
Monday November 5, 11:00 am ET
HOUSTON, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 5, 2007 -- Farmers are facing record crop losses to deer whose populations have been on the rise while new hope may come from a small Reno, Nevada-based enviro-ag company which announced last week that it filed with the EPA for a new plant systemic that promises to offer farmers and homeowners some relief. While in Virginia, it can't come soon enough.
The Danville Register Bee reports that a soybean farmer who lives just north of Danville, VA said he lost nearly one-third of his soybean crop -- close to 50 acres out of 150 he planted this year -- to deer damage.
The newspaper reported that the soybean farmer was forced to take drastic measures and shot some 120 deer so far this year.
"With as much crop damage as I've had, we had to do it," the Virginia farmer was quoted as saying. "They cost me at least $25,000 this year."
The Danville, Virginia farmer isn't alone when it comes to extensive crop damage from the four-legged locust, as the deer are coming to be known by. But according to Itronics founder, Dr. John Whitney, help is on the way.
Itronics, Inc. (OTC BB:ITRO.OB - News) filed last week with the EPA for a new systemic deer repellent his company calls GOLD n'GRO Guardian, after its brand of environmentally friendly fertilizers made from recycled photochemicals. The EPA's application process is all that's standing in the way of Itronics being able to sell its deer repellent, yet Itronics assumes that its registration won't become effective until sometime in early 2008 and between now and then, the nation's deer population will cause more than $2 billion in crop damage nationwide.
Soybean farmers are seeing record prices for their crops and with beans up near $10 a bushel, crop losses this year to deer herds are expected to soar. In Michigan alone the state estimates that deer populations could be up as much as 10 percent. On the East Coast, deer populations may be up by as much as 6 percent and losses in that part of the nation are expected to be more than double 2005 figures.

Gotta say that all in all, I was happy with the week. .0029 was a fair finish and a good start point for next week.
It is situations like what they just did to the price that make people less trustworthy of stocks. The stock is selling fine all morning at .0029 with a .0028 bid. No sells come across, the MM's adjust the ask to .0028 and bid to .0025!
I read a PR on Yahoo Finance about PRXT selling their shares of CYDF and that was what has been messing with the price in the last few days. I am not sure if this is true, but I do know that a good company with great products does not drop like a rock without some type of interference. I continue to buy more at these prices as I kept telling myself at .032+ "I sure wish I had bought more when it was under .02." Looks like I have my chance and I am taking advantage. I just hopoe we have found a new low and can start heading north!
Good news that a major city is using drones, just wish they had purchased them from CYDF!!! This is what we need to get a major spike is a company to sign a big contract. One company tends to lead to another and another..... The one thing to remember is that you do not build a huge, expensive facility for a company that does not intend to make profit!!! The day to day PPS is not great, but hold for a while and things should look up.
These are typically ploys by the Market Makers to get people to sell shares. If a person sees the last trade at .0027 down from .0028 or .0029, they may see the stock price getting ready to drop and then sell off a batch at a cheap price for the MM's to buy and then sell higher. Then when enough folks get snookered into this, the MM's take the stock on a little run and sell these shares for a hefty profit.
Believe it or not, these little trades like this that show a price drop work well with non-experienced investors.
This is why it is best to sit back and let what happens happen on a day to day basis.
OK, just bought more at .0135 and that is about as low as I would care for it to go!!!
Yeah, unfortunately it is killing the PPS! However, great things are in the works so I bought more today at .015. This actually brings my average to under.024. I will continue to watch today and may buy more once the price settles in.
I want you to be correct! I was just reading the 20million increase in the financial forms. I am far from a CPA and I will go with your info! I have a lot invested here, so better news is great!

I must admit that I do not like the trend that has been taking place recently, though I will be patient for now. If the OS continues to increase, we will see even more sell offs, and most of these folks are taking losses.
However, that being said, if the OS increase brings the products to increase profits, then all will be fine. As always, time will tell.
.021 sounds much better than the .017!!! Ideally this is the beginning of our upturn.
The way I see this is the same as other good companies with an OS increase investing back in the company. The stock dropped today after the form was released. The next few days will be a bit topsy turvy as some have not seen this and they will dump and then others will see it as an investment and grab more shares.
A week from now, our price will settle in with a new floor be it higher or lower. From there we will rise up slowly because new folks will buy in to a great concept and we will add more shares from time to time.
As the weeks go on, and we get more positive news, the pps will grow. However, I am a fairly large shareholder and I may be biased!
So what do we think this will do to the price of the stock? It appeared to hit hard earlier today, but then a slight uplift. Was it the sale on news early or do we think people will flee?
The problem with any financial releases is that they are always deemed bad at first. What is everyone's take on this one?
True!
We could all throw out guesses, but when dealing with any government organizations, it is up in the air. Once approved though, the .00's should be a thing of the past. It is that belief that keeps me buying more on the dips.
Unfortunately, it appears that our Friday gains are turning into MOndya losses! Let's hope for a rebound. I will buy a bit more to try to help.
The good news is that the bid came up and we held .02. It is not great, but if this is our new low, then it is much higher than our last. Ideally this will set us up for higher highs as well.
If we can get more support days like today, the .003's will be our new lows now with many more highs to come. This is a great stock that does what one is suppose to do. They invest in the company so the company and the shareholders get big returns! Too many people want 1000% returns overnight, but those only come from pump and dump companys and most people lose.
Days like today get others to see the potential in this real cmpany with real products and we get more investors.
Back up to over .003! Upward trend.
