Glad to know you're okay. Could have been a lot worse.
I hate hurricanes. We had 8 strike in different parts of Florida 2004-2005. We're finally getting roofs replaced after Wilma-end of October 05. Had a few scares in '06. This year so far it's been quiet. shhhh. Let's keep it that way.
OT - Mr. Dulittle2 - you need to lighten up. Lowman wasn't pointing any fingers - just mentioning that we're very used to this at end of day or after hours.

MANY THANKS. I will check the link and the board.
Carole
Thanks for the information. I have some reading up to do.

OK, thank you. Charts are confusing to me as it is without adding in 200 ma kind of stuff. I would like to learn to read them a little.

Could you please tell me what is the significance of the "200"?
Thank you.

Thank you.

Amen to that.
Six years ago our country was attacked, and much death and destruction was created in these terrorists attacks. I belive the US is stronger and more united now than before "9/11". My thoughts and prayers go to everyone who was touched by this event.

So that's what "Black Gold" looks like. WOW. I thought that was a fairy tale. I am impressed.
Nest Egg
I agree totally. If you have nothing good to say, just shut up and put up, or get the hell out of dodge (or HEMI as this case may be).

Next paycheck, I'll deposit my $50 w/Scottrade and get my cert for 12,450 shares.

Could someone please explain to me:
Other than what I've ready on the HEMI I-Hub Board, I know little about oil and gas discoveries and the processes that a company goes through from choosing the land, to drilling the well, pumping the materials and then trucking it or piping it to refineries to be finally made into consumable products. I also know very little about the stock market in general, so sometimes my questions may seem very elementary to those who've been in either the oil business or the stock market.
My question is as follows: There is a big difference in the probable and the proven reserves. Just how do probable reserves become proven? Does the government do this or some sort of certified geologist? How long does the process take and what is involved? How much does it cost to have the "analysis" for lack of a better word done?
I would appreciate any/all responses and thanks in advance.

Got 350 at .226 today. Not much, but they add up.

OT - Yes, it's that as well. There is a lot of fraudulent activity in South Florida, Boca being one of the utmost.
OT - care to elaborate regarding "Boca Raton", please?
Are they as obnoxious and stuck up as the people you're referring to? I worked in "Boca" for 15 years - if you don't live there too, you're considered "NOTHING"!
I'm ready - whose got the email address?
Carole
Dear Xtrapink,
I cannot find enough words to thank you for posting your survelliance. It just makes everything seem more real and I almost feel like I'm up there flying with you. I agree with you and mm2 that these workers are exceptional, dilignet, and brave - to be working in this extremely hot weather - I personnally cannot take that kind of heat for more than a few minutes at a time and I live in the Fort Lauderdale area, where its very hot most of the year.
Your posts are special to me and I look forward to reading each and every one of them. Again, thank you for your wonderful work in making the working team of Hemi so real.
Carole
Gentlemen, Suffice it to say, its a sh*tload of land :)
I'm elated. Now we need to get the true market value which I believe Keith, et al are in the process of doing.
This is just WONDERFUL news.

This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will, in the future, likely think before she speaks.
What happens when you predict snow but don't get any?
A true story. Therre was a female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked:
"So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?"
Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too!
While on a flight from New York, the Stewardess was busy passing out peanuts and cokes to everyone. There were about sixteen flights lined up waiting to get clearance to take off.
Then the other Stewardess got a message from the Pilot that the
tower said the wind had changed 180 degrees and they were first in line to take off, and to have everyone buckle up.
Without thinking she just announced "Please buckle up, grab your drinks and hold your nuts, we're taking off!". No one saw her for the rest of the flight to Houston, and all the other Stewardesses were laughing all the way and so were half of the passengers.
*Have you ever asked your child a question too many times? My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on him constantly. One day we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch in between errands. It was very busy, with a full dining room. While enjoying my taco, I smelled something funny, so of course I checked my seven-month-old daughter, and she was clean. Then I realized that Danny had not asked to go potty in a while, so I asked him if he needed to go,and he said, "No."
I kept thinking, "Oh Lord, that child has had an accident, and I don't have any clean clothes with me." Then I said, "Danny, are you SURE you didn't have an accident?" "No," he replied. I just KNEW that he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse.
Soooooo, I asked one more time,
"Danny, did you have an accident?" This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants, bent over and spread his cheeks and yelled. "SEE MOM, IT'S JUST FARTS!!" While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos laughing, he calmly pulled up his pants and sat down.
An old couple made me feel better by thanking me for the best laugh they'd ever had!
Have you ever spoken and wished that you could immediately take the words back or that you could crawl into a hole?
*I was at the golf store comparing different kinds of golf balls. I was unhappy with the women's type I had been using. After browsing for several minutes, I was approached by one of the good- looking gentlemen who works at the store. He asked if he could help me. Without thinking, I looked at him and said, "I think I like playing with men's balls."
*My sister and I were at the mall and passed by a store that sold a variety of candy and nuts. As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind the counter asked if we needed any help. I replied, "No, I'm just looking at your nuts." My sister started to laugh hysterically, the boy grinned, and I turned beet-red and walked away. To this day, my sister has never let me forget.
I like it, Kelseyf.
Keith, as well as the entire management team and workers of HEMI, deserve a good pat on the back. Weaker companies/individuals would have let all these negatives from the past 6-8 months get them down to the point of no return.
Positive reinforcement is important and always needs to be communicated.
Nest Egg
Lowman, I agree. Doesn't anyone understand that projections are usually educated guestimates? Geez, with all of the bad weather for the last 8 months and so forth, you'd think people would be pleased to see that the management didn't sit back and twiddle their thumbs - they were doing thing that management does to make the future of the company better - acquiring A LOT of leases, equipment and so forth.
Don't they realize that this company is not (yet) an IBM, 3M, HP type of company? It's an emerging domestic gas and oil company.
Go Keith & Go Hemi. I'm not selling one of my 10,500 shares - this is just an additional gift - more reasons for people to accumulate more shares, if financially possible.
Carole
Don't envy you. I broke the same foot twice - once in June '06 and again in Jan 07. Take care, please. I know how painful it can be and how frustrating. Time will heal it though and you must be very careful not to walk around shoeless - I'm a diabetic and I know that even non-diabetics must be careful.
Feel well soon.
Carole
Mr. duelittle2,
You could propose your suggestion to Keith to let him mull it over. It would be his decision to see if it's viable, but worth the suggestion, in my opinion.
Carole
Scottrade shows .2925??? Why the difference? I'd much rather see the .32. How can there be different closing amounts? Could someone please explain to this to me?
Thanks in advance.

I just sent you an email, can't PM.
Carole
Correct - and that IS what Keith said on the interview. Not that HEMI owned all 3 billion, but that it was in the area of SE Kansas and that it would take work - a lot of work - to get it out. Keith was stating that there is a lot of domestic oil, but it will take time and effort to get to it.
Nest Egg
YES... Wonderful to see that beautiful green again and double what it was a few days ago.
I thought the program was excellent this morning, although I think the General was a little "stiff". The desk correspondent asked some good questions and Keith just answered away. This was interviewed several months ago - and not released, so remember, we know more about what Keith was actually saying - 11 sq miles ... we know it's much more. Not only that, Keith mentioned about being environmentally friendly and taking ownership by eliminating problems in the past. Since as I said this was interviewed several months agon, there was no mention of Wilshire, no mention of the massive floods, no mention of how HEMI helped with emergencies. Could go on and on. Such a GREAT company, finally getting some recognition.
"Go Hemi"

All of a sudden my 103,500 shares of EQMB is worth $207 rather than the $20. it was yesterday, but my 2000 shares of SOMPF is still only $200?
What's going on?
Carole
THANK you so much for all the reminders that this is such a GREAT opportunity and a professionally run company. All of the excellent fundamentals for a very do-able business plan, all the strategy of Keith A and everyone else at HEMI. Owning and holding (LONG) is a NO-BRAINER. I just wish I had some more loose money to add to my 10,500 shares. I'm not greedy, but this in my opinion is an absolute WINNER. Patience and knowing things always work out in the end is what this company is all about. Ok, and the reserves, and the people, and the equipment and ..... I could go on and on.
I'm Happy I'm A HEMI LONG!
Carole
Thanks Moneymogul2b. I just checked my Scottrade account. No open orders. My account looks fine, but thanks for the headsup.
Carole
Sir,
I really think you should slowly reread that email from Keith again. And then read it again. Then a third time.
I truly believe you are misconstruing/misunderstanding/ misreading what Keith said in the email.
Kelseyf,
That's the way I read it as well - the top guys at Wilshire were very interested and had not heard about it before. Of course Keith had ... he proposed it idea to them.
Sometimes things are misread/misunderstood and then all h*ll breaks loose and we have 45 posts arguing over something that was mis-read!
Nest Egg
Great, simplistic summary - even the least knowledgable in this stock should be able to understand that this is a GREAT company to be in for the long term.
Nest Egg
Eight posts deleted one right after another - What's going on?
Rehashing and rehashing won't make it any different.
Sharing and cooperating and giving different points of view - helping one another - I thought that was what this board was about. It's about HEMI and the investors. Not about fighting over who's right or wrong. This will probably get deleted as well - it's not on target.
I apologize, but posters need some discipline.
Nest Egg
Go up from where? The share price on Sccottrade for EQBM is .0003 as of 12:10 EDT.
Nest Egg
The SEC would probably think we were spammers and get the HEMI stock into trouble.
