Re: $6.6 Billion contract is not for real!
Sure it is IMHO, why do you think there are so many longs continuing to hold shares in this Company.
The infrastructure required is staggering! Actually the whole project is pretty staggering and that's why we're excited about the potential here. Really it's kind of like a kids 4 piece puzzle, only each piece can be complicated and in some instances almost overwhelming.
#1 Adaquate financing.
#2 Natural resources.
#3 Equipment & Logistics.
#4 Capable management.
It really comes down to bringing together the right people at the right time. People who can put the puzzle together because they know how to do it; Remember no matter how complicated it appears it is still only a 4 piece puzzle. The old Phoenix wouldn't have had the necessary people resources to pull it off so they morfed into the new Phoenix; bringing deep pockets to the table as well as other people resources with the kind of conections you need to acquire the natural resources and secure the equipment required to mine and transport those natural resources. I can't see anyone trying to put together this kind of deal in a offhanded manner. Not logical! To pr something like this and not deliver = suicide!
I have no problem with the feasibility of the Komex deal; if it doesn't happen you'll likely find us in Pinkie Hill beside Billy and other banditos. I do continue to have bigger concerns with share structure issues which could impact us through the duration of this 5 year deal and beyond. Let us hope that the common shareholders will get their fair portion and the Company won't be GREEDY!
As I have stated before, once the new partners have their shares and the Komex deal is verified by some independent parties, I think we'll see the kind of growth we have been waiting for. There are obvious risks here, as they say "it is a Pinkie" however many here believe the risk is worth the potential reward {simple as that} IMHO.

Caycehopeful, If the Komex deal was not pr'd
when it was then I would think that we would have seen the share price continue its slide; especially once the TA was ungagged and the new OS figures were revealed.
Now if the share price plummeted it would present a great opportunity for the new partners to fulfill their obligation, perhaps at a sub penny prices, however that kind of buying would have been a dead giveaway to our trusty sleuths that something untoward was going on.
No! I think this has gone down exactly as PBLS wanted. They let us know about the potential that a blockbuster Komex deal could be consumated. This served to lock in our faithful longs again, successfully freezing the pps; on the other hand new investors were not willing to bite on the potential new deal because of the lack of essential supportive information; in particular a pr from Komex that verifies the information released by PBLS. This lack of information from a Company noted for being weak in this area, served to keep the pps static; something which keeps the new partners happy, allowing them to get all their shares likely below .02.
Personally, I think the Komex deal is real. If it is not then PBLS for all intensive purposes will be finished. However that said I also believe that the situation will continue to be manipulated in a fashion that will allow the new partners to fulfill their share purchase obligation at low prices. Once that has been accomplished I think we'll be getting a lot of new exciting information and the pps will finally see some long awaited and significant appreciation. IMHO Good fortune to the longs! Getting late have to run.

Cutting: What movie are we going to see?
Bob check out Boomtown if you can get your hands on it. Great 1940 flick with Tracy, Gable and Colbert. It's about these two wildcaters who bought dirt cheap shares in this Company named PBLS and boy did they end up hitting it big!
Well maybe that's a bit of a stretch but it does portray what can happen financially speaking when you manage to tap into a big gravel strike. Notwithstanding, I bet this is your kind of film.
Oh well! Sure is quiet on the board this weekend.

The Beatles & More!
Eddy really helped the so called British invasion back in the early 60's by regularly featuring groups such as: The Beatles, The Dave Clark Five, Gerry & The Pace Makers, Hermins Hermits and of course The Rolling Stones to name just a few.
Even earlier in the 50's Eddy featured other home grown greats and helped them get started as well: Elvis & Roy Orbison come to mind. Then in the early 60's Diana Ross and The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, The Beach Boys, The Moma's and The Popa's and many, many more. Eddy also featured a lot of comedy acts that were actually funny like Jackie Vernon, something that is rare these days.
Eddy's really big shew was a favorite every Sunday evening at our home at least once we got our first television up and running.

"Ain't no cure for The Summer Time Blues"
Just been trying to catch up on some of the many posts I missed over ther past two weeks. Todays messages have a destinctly forlorn tone. It kills me to see someone like Pnew who was kind of down at the beginning of the Summer; then after the Komex pr it was like seeing Rocky Balboa ready to get primed for another big fight; I loved that Pnew moment. Now we're back to "I've got better things to do with my life." {loose quote}
Many on this board communicate outside of this forum, some have even developed friendships to be sure. Can anyone verify that justalittle is the real deal through personal contact outside of this forum? I'm really not paranoid but as others have thought, I too find it somewhat incredulous that someone holding 20+ M shares for a year or more just happens to grace us with his presence at this particular time. It is strange that the obvious weight of his posts {due in part to his hefty position} did not cause a bit of a mini run.
About "The Summer Time Blues" I believe the cure is Fall; this Fall in particular. Summer is notorious for being a bad time to get anything accomplished; holidays and things like that. The folks at PBLS appear to have until this Fall to get organized and hopefully provide some meaningful details on their ambitious agenda. If they do not come through, they may witness an Mass Exodus of many faithful longs who just can't take "The Fog" anymore. Hopefully it won't come to this; if anyone deserves to win here it is the longs who have shown such fortitude thus far.
In the meantime, hopefully our friend Pnew and others who are becomming increasingly pessimistic about PBLS will hang on and watch things unfold over the nest six months. Most of us think or have thought that there is something special here. Early retirement, financial security; even multi millionaire status if you're into that {it's that little voice in your head}; personally I'll settle for the early retirement.
Good to be back from vacation; well kind of I guess. Hey MRDALE, seen any good flicks lately? Watched "Knights of the Round Table" the other evening {the Robert Taylor version} color, wide screen pretty darn good actually.
Good to be back, goodnight everybody and do hang on!

Balancr .... Massive is the operative word.
I lived fairly close to such a port; built specifically to feed Japans appetite for coal. The coal comes from mining operations located many hundreds of miles from the port.
The conveyor belt analogy is good because that's what it seems like. Boxcar after boxcar in strings a mile or more long.
Logistically speaking, massive is the operative word but it can be done and has been done in other places. It also appears that we are bringing in people with the connections and expertise to put it all together.
I believe this presents an extremely exciting prospect for confirmed PBLS longs. In the end our patience will either make us appear as fools or geniuses; my gut says the latter. IMHO.

DU YU MEEN YUR SPELING IS ATROCSIOS?
Just kidding!
Logistics of fulfilling the Komex contract.
Just looking into some of the potential ways to get Murphy's aggregate from Louisiana to Komex in Poland and just what would be involved in that process.
Madisonville is on the Gulf Coast, so the distance from pit to port is minimal. At the other end Komex is in Kracow, southern Poland; which could easily be accessed by rail from the northern Port of Gdansk, Poland.
The way I envision the process would be as follows:
Special containers are loaded on site at the pit.
These containers are then transorted to the port and off loaded. {first handling}
The same containers are then loaded onto the good ship Lolipop. {2nd handling}
The Good ship Lolipop sails for the Port of Gdansk.
At Gdansk the containers are offloaded. {3rd handling}
The containers are then loaded onto rail cars. {4th handling}
The rail cars are then hauled to Kracow and offloaded there. {5th handling}
The containers are then loaded back onto trucks and finally delivered to Komex. {6 & maybe 7th handling}
The important thing here is that the raw materials could move from pit to plant without being physically handled over and over again. Only the containers are processed and this is done surprisingly quickly. This is not an impossible task, in fact materials are processed thousands of times every minute, all over the world.
In my opinion this is all quite plausable. Really only need to find out what kind of special container would be used, the weight capacity per container and we would know how many containers would have to be loaded to fulfill the contract; we could break it down all the way to how many per day.
Any ways that's the sort of stuff and older teck or a roach could discover in no time. Well I'm out of time for this evening. Just a little something to think on while we wait for things to solidify and I'm sure they will in due time.

Don't get me wrong I think what we're seeing now is great and I'm particularily happy for the faithful longs who didn't loose heart and pack it it a few weeks back when things looked rather bleak.
It was also impressive how you and several others managed to stay positive and deliver relevant information to keep the rest of us distracted until the veil was lifted.

WHIRLIGIG .... CEMEX OR KOMEX?
I read somewhere last week that PBLS's new partner was Cemex who has the Rinker connection, that would be huge but I'm not sure whether or not it was just someones best guess or not?
In Fridays pr they are talking about Komex as the Company that is contracting for the 30M tons of agregate. There is a Komex on the web located in Poland and they do have an agregate/cement division.
So perhaps Cemex is indeed the new partner and Komex is a very large customer! Has anyone checked into this further?
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

ANY IDEAS ON WHAT WE'RE WORTH NOW!
In light of Fridays great news and then being able to find out where we're at with the share structure on Monday; I imagine we'll be getting some interesting ideas on our current worth. We may be more diluted than we would have liked but then again if our real value has risen more than enough to offset this dilution then it's not such a bad scenario. In fact it may prove to be one of the smartest moves this Company has ever made!
Well next week should be one of the most eventful weeks we've ever seen in PBLS. It is nice to see everyone so happy and stoked. Go PBLS, >>>>>>>>>> gooooooh!

ROACH! ...... PER YOUR REQUEST!
I believe what we're looking at is Cemex [symbol CX]
Current s/p = $32
Shares outstanding = 764,728,077
Market cap = 24,195,996,356
Summary:
"Cemex is one of the largest cement Companies in the world, with close to 78 million metric tons of production capacity. Through operating subsiduaries in 4 continents they are engaged in the production, distribution, marketing and sale of cement, redi-mix concrete, agregate and clinker. They are also the worlds leading producer of white cement and the worlds largest trader of cement and clinker."
Do you really think this is the outfit we're hooked up with?
Amazing what a little bit of perceived honesty {loosing the TA} acccompanied by a pretty exciting pr can do to the mind set of so many people isn't it? I think this is the most posts I've seen in one day since I've been reading this board; it is definately the most serendipitous collective state of mind I've seen thus far. Should be a lot of insightful discussion throughout the weekend.
Take care.

SERIES 2 EXTENSION WILL HOLD PPS DOWN?
Continuing with an earlier thought.
This extension may hold more signifigance than many think; providing their purpose is to have as many shares converted as they possibly can, before any big upward move. So the pps stays low for another 3 months allowing the new big partners to fulfill their commitments re: acquiring gazillions of shares and to do so at low, low prices as more longs loose heart and either walk away or take the conversion. Of course if we don't free up the shares required for this commitment they can now simply release more of the shares they likely have in reserve for that purpose into the open market.
Bringing this into perspective is hard but I really like Oldteck's line and his unfailing persistance. "They're going to make me money whether they like it or not!" With what we're seeing on the business front, the pps has to eventually rise. For now we must exercise patience and stand pat. These people aren't our friends and they will take our shares @ .06 in a heartbeat if we waver. Most of us see this as a gamble of sorts tempered with the feeling that there is really something special here. Well I think the special is here and it's only a matter of time until we are rewarded as alluded to by Oldteck; IMHO. So hang in there folks we may be in for another slow three months but maybe then then we'll see our patience rewarded!!
Good morning to all,

MRDALE RE: THE EXTENSION
I posted the following {#44071} to whirlgig just about a month ago.
"Concensus seems to be that we will get some clarification sometime this month? Would make sense; their opportunity to lock in through series 2 conversion @.06 is closing quickly. With series 2 closed there will be one less reason not to encourage a more reasonable sp. Just had a horrible thought!
WHAT IF AS AN ACT OF GENEROSITY THEY DECIDE TO EXTEND THE SERIES 2 OPPORTUNITY? LETS HOPE THEY'RE NOT THAT GENEROUS."
What can I say personally I'm not happy about this because I simply see it as an extended reason for them to suppress the pps for 3 more months. My gut feeling is that the pps is currently on the low side. I also think that they would love to see more people convert their shares to series 2 @ .06 in light of a near and long range business plan which they are privy to and we are not.
Should the pps go to .15 or more within a year they stand to win big with millions locked in @ .06. I will continue to hold my common shares and not convert any to series 2. Good luck to all longs. My opinion only.

OLDTECK! SO WHAT DO YOU READ INTO THIS?
MRDALE YES! BUT THIS PROCESS, ACTUALLY DEVELOPED PRE
second world war in Germany is supposed to have the potential to end our dependence upon mid eastern oil, especially if you factor in our enormous coal reserves still untouched here in North America. I don't know for sure if kerosene will burn in todays autos but whatever they are in the process of developing will!
Rats! I missed again; so how about Ritz; as in "The Three Musqueteers" starring Don Amiche and the Ritz Bros. If you know this one I'll have to put you up there with Robert Osborn @ TCM. If you haven't seen this thirties jem, check it out; you'll laugh till you cry. Really! you will.
Lets not forget that PBLS may get pretty interesting before the end of the week. You know it really is out of our hands at this point. Of equal personal interest though is discovering a great American movie that you have somehow managed to miss; what I've seen thus far shows that you have great taste when it comes to classic film. There was some talk of the lilquifaction of coal to gasoline on this board today. A very promising technology at which Rentech is at the forefront. However; unfortunatley I don't see any connection that ties this to PBLS.
Hope you have a great evening.

JUST A THOUGHT... MAYBE IT'S VULCAN MATERIALS??
VULCAN MATERIALS RECENTLY BOUGHT FRK FOR 4.6 BILLION
IF MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT!
MRDALE RE: SHARE STRUCTURE 2.5 BILLION QUESTIONS!
There is now so much innuendo regarding PBLS's share structure that the the best anyone can do is offer their hypothesis on the issue. The truth is that we don't have enough facts to determine whether the current situation is good or bad.
Apparently the AS has been increased from 1.75 to 2.5 billion shares, a 43% increase. This could justify concerns of how diluted the stock has become. The perceived and actual dilution factors will surely impact the pps in the short term. In the longer term it will take sustained growth and profitability to reverse a downward pps trend.
The one thing that we can hope for here is that we are currently below the true market value. I know some have posted that the pps could really be in the .012 range {that's a scary thought} on the other hand an optomist might believe that it could be closer to .03/.04.
What did PA really mean when he said the stock is currently trading at one quarter of its value? Its value when? Last week! Last Month! What about June 13/07 when it was still .034. The way it reads to me, he means it's worth .039 right now. That would be fine but where does he see it being a year from now? Not long ago some folks were saying on this board that Company officials told them that the stock should go to .20 to 1.00 within a year or two. Is that scenario still remotely accurate or has it been significantly altered by this latest round of dilution?
Well it's too late on a Saturday evening to crack the old brain thinking about PBLS. I will hope for the best while being prepared for the worst. Time to go watch a good old movie. Tonight "The Lady Eve" with Barbara Stanwick. Great comedy.
Good Night!

R/S RATHER NOT GO THERE!
In my limited experience reverse splits are nearly always bad news for the shareholder. Was in a stock that peaked at $4, then started to slide. At .70 they did a reverse split @ 10/1 making the shares worth $7 ea. They even made it to a new exchange where they are now trading for around $4 post r/s which equals .40 pre r/s.
In the scenario above the stock would have to go to $40/share just to get back to where it was a year ago. I don't think so. The bottom line is that if you're not performing in an effective manner which promotes natural growth; implementing something like a reverse split won't cut it; just like releasing vague press releases won't cut it. IMO.

P/R THOUGHTS!
WORKING WITH OR PARTNERING WITH
What does this mean? Obviously PBLS isn't taking over these Companies outright! To make any sort of assessment on this information we need to know what sort of working interests are involved? There is a huge difference between having a 5% interest in another Company vs having say a 40% interest; particularily if the Company should be a big, well established one.
The lack of specifics here allows for no sentiments. This could be great news or it could be the worst of news. It depends upon the cost!
MURPHY SAND & GRAVEL PIT TO PRODUCE VASTLY LARGER NUMBERS
What does this mean? Once again vague to a fault. Some people consider 10% a pretty significant increase while others might expect vastly to mean considerably more say 50 to 100% ++
The lack of specifis here allows for no sentiments. This could be great news or it could be of little consequence to a Company who now has 2.5B authorized shares. It depends upon the cost!
MINING DEALS NOW BEING COMPLETED, 1ST IN A SERIES OF NEW ACQUISITIONS
What does this mean? What kind of deals, where and with whom. Who will have what degrees of interest.
The lack of specifics here allows for no sentiments. Depends on whether we're speaking of Tech Cominco or Twiddle Dee doesn't it? It really depends upon the cost!
SOUTHERN CONCRETE CRUSHING
What does this mean? A point was made of mentioning this particular Company, a Company that our most ardent sleuths have been unable to find any trace of. I know for me several hours of dd = zero.
The lack of specifics here allows for no sentiments. Seeing as no trace could be found it must be a privately held Company run out of the cab of some drivers truck, using but a cell phone for communication. No comment here.
CLOSING ON BULK FUEL FACILITY IN S. MISSISSIPPI
What does this mean? They will be able to supply fuel to their other divisions at reduced costs. I suppose that will be an advantage but I think we could use more detailed information on this as well.
The lack of specifics allows for no sentiments here. Need more info.
ACQUIRING A TRADING PLATFORM
What does this mean? If they have their own trading platform they could really xzxzxzxzxzzxz with their stock.
PHOENIX WILL BE MAKING CHANGES TO ITS SHARE STRUCTURE
What does this mean? I was under the impression that they have been doing that for several years now. Increasing the AS from 1.75 to 2.5 Billion is significant; just how diluted we have become will become apparent later this year I would imagine.
The lack of specifics here still allows for no sentiments.
FORWARD LOOKING STATEMENTS
What does this mean? It means that it could be a lot of unfounded hype or perhaps some or all of it may have substance.
CONCLUSION
This p/r like most of the communication we receive from PBLS will not serve to provide impedus for the pps simply because the information provided was once again too vague. Many of us here could take this last p/r, simply re-write it and inject some relevant facts such as: Company names, their locations, some numbers and percentages and we could probably see the pps take off like a rocket. This is not going to happen because this new p/r will be seen as VAGUE & REALLY FORWARD LOOKING. As well, past issues remain unresolved. The T/A is still gagged, the share structure has not been clarified and now we have more ghost companies to think about.
Of course all of this is merely my opinion and is in no way meant to sway anyone's decisions concerning PBLS. Personally I think this last p/r was rushed in an attempt to slow a falling pps. By rushing it's release they were not in a position to use specific information in some instances because those deals are not finalized. I can understand that.
My position is unchanged. I will hold and accept the risks that are involved here. If you read between the lines of this last p/r we may have reason to be excited in a reserved fashion.
I will give them more time but I sincerely hope that they understand that the primary solution to their pps woes remains unchanged.
Give us facts; give us the truth; we'll know what to do with it.
