Really surprises me how wal-mart lied to Joenatural about getting some info for him. I believe the woman he spoke to told him on several occasions that he would be hearing from them and wouldnt ya know it.. A pink sheet scam like wal-mart...... oops. HAHAHA! sorry, they in fact are NOT on the pinksheets. Doesnt really matter though because only joe was told about it. It's not like they PR'd it. THEN we could hold them accountable for it. I lost the ADCS PR where they mentioned a sponsorship by Warner Brothers...Can someone post it for me? Oh thats right......

I think now would be a good time for someone from the company to start some damage control. I'm sure their phones are ringing off the hooks with screaming, cussing investors so maybe they are stepping back and evaluating the situation before they say anything. They better hurry though.

Although I am a little bit uneasy about some of the stuff that has been posted, I am going to remain faithful and hope for the best. The money that I have in this didnt come from the sale of my kidneys or from the equity on my house so I'm gonna let it ride through good or bad.

I thought thirty tigers was only a sponsor of the music festival. Charles Walker is on the Thirty Tigers label and he even mentioned the VStarr festival on a blog on his myspace page. So no, they wouldnt have anything to do with the contest and we havent seen their banners anyways.

I saw the Walmart banners too. As far as I'm concerned the only things that have changed today are the WB banners were taken down and the A/S were increased. I'm faithful at this point. Just riding the wave of doom and gloom.

What do you want me to do? Sit here and cry about it? I'm already down quite a bit and it wouldnt be in my best interest to try and bail at this point and complaining big time about it is only going to give me a headache. Just keeping hope alive.

Yeah! I think there was only 2-3 slots left. Granted some of the stores took up multiple slots but thats still pretty dern good. Heard a rumor that there are talks about expanding already.

I'll tell ya one thing... They got this bugger locked down tighter than a frogs @#$. The event center is blocked off and I'm not on the up and up with all of the SL terms and how they work but when you try to walk to the event center it gives you a message saying "banned parcel"... or something. I aint allowed in! At all! LOL! But I did see 10 people in there on the world map at one point and as I was walking away from their virtual electric fence I saw someone walk in to the forbidden zone without issue.
The Wal-mart stores are screened off..cant go in them. You can SEE them, ya just cant walk in. I am, as of a few hours ago, having no luck getting on the VStarr site again. Which I did clean my puter out again this afternoon so I am assuming that I am correct about the whole "running on cache" theory.

I'm willing to bet a buffalo nickel that we wont hear anything until Monday. They gave themselves the whole week to film the pilot so.......

Plunging CD sales leads music distributor Handleman to leave N. American market


TROY, Mich. (AP) -- Handleman Co. is abandoning its North American music distribution business in a move that will eliminate 260 jobs mainly in Michigan and Indiana.
The Troy-based company said Monday it has agreed to sell its music inventory and other assets related to its Wal-Mart business to Anderson Merchandisers LP of Amarillo, Texas. Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is Handleman's biggest U.S. customer.

President and CEO Albert Koch says CD sales have fallen at double-digit rates for several years, both industrywide and at its customers' stores.

Handleman says most of the 260 jobs to be cut are at company headquarters in Troy and at its distribution facility in Indianapolis.
