I think JnJ paid for it.
For those that say Zaring left Medtronic for a money grab, I have one question. What money grab? The Titan naysayers say Titan is a dog and won’t succeed so if Zaring got a bunch of shares and options, according to the naysayers those shares/options are worthless anyway. So is the money grab in salary- hardly doubt that the salary and bonuses from Titan would even come close to what he was making at Medtronic I have a hard time believing the Titan naysayers have the slightest clue of why Zaring took the job. According to them he is walking into a complete disaster that will make him almost no money then just a salary that is well below market value based on his position at Medtronic So why would Zaring take a job at a company that the Titan naysayers say will never come to market, the stock will be worthless and they will never get regulatory approval. I guess he is just taking it for sheats and giggles, even though he is entering the prime of his career. Yea, no need to stay at a multi billion dollar company that is starting up their surgical robotic division that will be the future and you currently hold a top leadership position to jump into a non-starter start up company where u will make no money and piss away the prime years of ones career. Weak argument and makes no sense but hey, if this is their opinion, well each one of us can decide how informed people are based on their opinions.

all longs care about end effector supplier, they also care about the software supplier, the also care about who is making the scope - those who don't give a sheat are idiots
Absolutely right- best place to start is Who is the WW SUPPLIER of END EFFECTORS that signed on w Titan over 3 years ago - that is the partner.
The only company that hired a bunch of engineers to make end effectors for a novel robotic surgery platform at that time was JNJ.
All depends on submittal date
That’s another thing - Titan has all they need to get CE mark right now. Based of McNally’s PR, they have proven safety and efficacy oF SPORT.
I provided a link for everyone to review regarding IDE but it was deleted. Maybe moderator could repost, it goes into more detail on IDE that would help investors who want to understand the IDE process.
Awe heck, I’ll just share it now, per fda guidelines:
An investigation may begin 30 days after FDA receives the IDE application for the investigation of a device if IRB approval has been obtained unless FDA notifies the sponsor that the investigation may not begin.
If anyone says it’s not an automatic 30 day approval if FDA doesn’t respond is absolutely dead wrong and I can 100% prove that.
Anyone who truly wants this to succeed, study up on IDE. I’ve been researching a ton on it and it is fascinating.
Some facts to chew on:
1. In order for a foreign company to submit and receive approval they must have a US sponsor company
2. Once a company submits for IDE approval, the FDA has 30 days to respond - if they don’t the IDE request is approved and granted.
- What this means that once Titan submits their IDE application, the 30 day clock starts. If they submit it tomorrow, it will be approved by August 18.
3. Once approved, they can begin human clinical trials at approved sites.
4. Companies receiving IDE approval and having successful clinical trials, it will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the regulatory approval process.
Also from what I’ve uncovered is that the end effectors supplier and the software supplier will need to be present for this clinical trials.
JNJ/Titan/Verb/Auris
Yea it do.
Is that what your boy Randall said that Zaring hire was a big nothing burger. Sounds pretty reliable, I mean u two have a proven history of laying out and following thru on factual info.
Chad Zaring scenario - only two:
1. Either Medtronic told him that they want him to take the Titan job and get it to commercialization
or
2. He left medtronic to go work for Titan b/c they are a better oppty then Medtronic's robotic division
JnJ/Titan/Verb/Auris
Regulatory approval- probably CE mark which will come before fda
He also said that they were going to have their robot in 2018 as well but hey who’s keeping track.
No, I would say that Titan and Verb and Auris using the same patent firm, knobbe martens completes the circle more than Zaring being hired. I’m pretty sure you don’t even know about the knobbe martens connection.
Medtronic only has a commercially available spine robot- they have no commercially available abdominal surgical robot.
If a company tried to hold anyone to a non compete based off potential future product would lose 100% of the time. Zaring working at Titan does not compete with a non commercialized potential abdominal surgical robot from Medtronic bc there is nothing to compete against that is commercially available from Medtronic
Maybe Zaring knows that Hugo will never make it to market or at the very least is still several, several years away.
I meant spine, not ortho - still no conflict w Titan.
Zaring was ortho - Titan is abdominal. No conflict
I don’t, I still believe it will be jnj/Titan/Verb/Auris. But I’m not going to be some asslcown that wouldn’t take medtronics deal north of $7B out of pride (like some on this board). For all I care, if Medtronic, ISRG, jnj, Stryker, olympus, etc want to bid on single port next generation surgical robotic system and drive it north of $10 BILLION - let’s go.
Most on this board now believe there is a partner involved and just a tiny portion that still believe that Titan will go it alone.
McNally was directed to keep it quiet and do the bare minimum to promote it. If he wasn’t given that direction then he would be out there promoting Titan to the world. Just like all the other surgical robotic CEO’s.
They either paid big money to a high end search firm to recruit frederico and Zaring- they didnt even post his job on the website OR they were told to bring these 2 in the mix.
If Medtronic is now jumping into the mix, that will help drive up the final acquisition price. If Medtronic wants a piece of this - could easily see them jump in w $6.75 - $7.5 Billion offer.
Agree
Wrong
To clarify, u think robotic surgery is a joke
Bottom line, In tribute to WSOP, Titan has the nuts
One thing is for sure, the boards consensus is that their is a BIGGUN behind the scenes pulling the strings.
Randall (aka "the rock") also said all Warrants will be in the money so anything he says means the opposite is true. Looks like he confirmed the JnJ Partnership - smoking gun provided by posilock
I can say for certainty that JNJ is the WW Global supplier of end effectors for Titan
JnJ/Titan/Verb/Auris
You mean that lie, how is that a lie, you certainly don't know if that is not true....oh if you do, then please do tell us who the WW GLobal Supplier of End Effectors is? Oh, do tell us who the Software provide is....
You must a be a broker, after all according to you they are all knowing.
just called a broker and asked them about surgical robotics and they told me that TRXC is a winner and a strong buy.
so you mean reputable brokers and investment firms like Lehman Bros and Bear Stearns type of brokers - if you thought good ole Marty Bernholtz was a crook, well these "brokers" aren't that much different
is that what your boy Randall told you
JNJ/Titan/Verb/Auris
Looks like a Fred moll hire
Yes, I would agree that since you are an investor, that calling yourself stupid is pretty accurate. You should be proud of yourself for honest self ass..essment
Complete success.
