Everyone does their own risk analysis.
If you believe the time estimates from posters on this board, commons will get better real fast.
That is old news on Calabria.
Great expectations for Freddie common stock.
Preferred shares are a high risk.
Lawsuits brought by hedge funds and others who own preferred shares.

Warrant are illegal and will not exercised.
This is a Freddie Mac common holders board, any comments related to warrants are off topic. Warrants can be discussed on the Freddie Mac preferred holders board, fmckj
Moelis is not going to happen.
Preferreds cannot be converted to commons.
79.9% of common shares are NOT owned by the treasury.
This is a reference to warrants, which are illegal, and it has been posted that that subject is not a common share subject but a preferred share subject. Please take that conversation to the fnmas ihub board.
Warrants as defined are illegal and won't be exercised.
Watt's term as FHFA director ends January 6, 2019
That is not a topic for common shareholders. At best it belongs on the preferred shareholders board.

Agree. That would be preferred holders.
Commons trade on OTC, those holdings don't have to be reported.
Emails about the illegal NWS are logged too.
News to me that Treasury took the time to comment on common shares.
Yes. Big piece of self serving junk.
I am not doing homework for anyone. Anyone can look up fitch. Treasury or gov't never said commons were worthless.
No dilution on the radar.
Fitch did not say commons are worthless.
But they did say junior preferred shares are worthless junk debt.
Maybe by about March 2019 they get all the items done, build confidence for a few months, then IPO June 2019.
Just why does the gov't have to settle with preferred shareholders out of court?
They won the lawsuits.
Preferred holders may have to wait until 2022 to get redeemed.
Beats getting cancelled.
" liquidation preference $25 per share, redeemable at the issuer's option on 12/31/2012 and every fifth anniversary thereafter at $25"

I thought he meant he was looking for a bottom to buy in before the shorts cover.
Fitch rated junior preferred stocks as junk debt.
Commons are equity.
You have to ask, why would a company bother to carry forward old junk debt when they don't need to?
Watt did not even attend the Moelis presentation at FHFA.
Shows what he thinks of the plan.
There is no other outcome for the preferred shares except to be cancelled.
I did write to senators. Who else did that?
The market is saying that smart buyers are shorting FnF common to buy in lower, scaring retail to sell, while pumping preferred shares to dump real soon.
