Cheerleading vs. Substance. I also have posted twice under the name Truthsearch. I had the opportunity and was ready to attend FIME, but a young lady near and dear to my heart graduated from Marine Corps OCS at Quantico last week. So I spent five days in northern Virginia instead. Had I attended FIME, my head scratching would have become feverish. Imagine being in the home furnishings business. A builder comes to you and asks you to take part in a Parade of Homes show. What a grand opportunity to show your stuff! You have signs advertising your business on all the lawns outside the homes that you are going to furnish. Yet.....when people walk into the homes, they only see bare rooms with easels containing graphics depicting what pieces of furniture are to be used in what areas of the house and how they are to be functional. This scenario, until I can be convinced otherwise, is what occurred at FIME. I ask again: somebody, on this board, please straighten me out.
