Since the FED has said it wont raise rates for two years I think the dollar could go to .50 - If they do more easing its definately going to happen!! Silver will spike to those prices we all hear arent attainable.
There is always a loophole :)
Tarnish on old mint sets is somewhat normal but there shouldnt be too much. I would send it back since its been opened too.
I think everyone has dreams of living in tropical location and lounging on the beach but unless you leave the U.S. you will have to have several million just to do it. Anyway, Im white as the day is long so I dont belong on a beach but they are nice to visit.
I daytraded during the tech bubble and made a lot of money but things were much different back then. Today, daytrading is losing game and compounds the taxes owed so much its a waste of time. Back in the tech bubble you didnt have to scalp for teenies as fractional trading spreads where quarters and halves were the norm made for good profits. Today you scalp for a couple pennies - big whoop
I put him on ignore too. Just after he claimed he owned beach front property and sits on the beach daytrading - lol What a putz.
Can you post it here?
Have you seen the movie 'Six Degrees of Separation'??
Nope - its a freakin can of worms.
I can tell you some stories you wouldnt believe
They automatically opened a case for me but today I let them know I got the package and it wasnt as described. They said I would get my money back within 30 days. Hope all goes well for the all of us in regards to this issue
Yup - I got one of those Chinese Dollar coins in the mail today too.
It sounds like you got some nice graded coins!!
DT - did you ever receive a package from the UK?? You know - the fake coins??
I have access to NGCCOIN.COM prices but was too lazy to look it up...Red Book is easy to pick up off the floor
I bought a roll of 67 Kennedys and 19 are all banged up but one was very nice so I took it out and bought a filler. I figured it looked really sharp so I would keep it.
Last night I was throwing a can in the recycling bin and accidentally threw it away. It was the 67 Kennedy I just spoke of. I was just going to forget about it but then I looked up how much Red Book was saying it was worth and then ended up going through a bag of icky wet cans. ick - but it was worth the 7 bucks.
I loaded up w/Franklin mint sets at 25.00 but many were opened envelopes.
Ive got a 1967 MS63 worth 7 bucks. Seems expensive really.
Remember, you dont own it unless you can hold it in your hand. SLV has questionable Silver backing and when the SHTF you might get left with nothing. Make sure at least some, if not most, of your Silver is physical.
At some point of tipping this is going to be a bottom up phenomena. Just as if you were to turn an hourglass.
It looks well sealed in the picture IMO
Knock one back for me..been a while since I had a good stiff drink
If you are shifty you can get the old glue to seperate on the envelopes and get a glimpse inside. I have some that have been opened and are perfectly fine.
Buy some opened ones - they are relatively "cheaper" and you still get good junk for the money
Ive bought a lot of Franklin proof sets and the unopened ones carry a much bigger premium. I wouldnt open them I would hold out.
HL and Orca - get out your guns....shhhh
Obamababble lifts the buck back up over .74
Dollar index down in the 73's now - be nice to see it get whacked real good right now
Nice coin sets HL and the right price too.
Those '65 Canadian Mint Sets you sold at 25.50 spot to me have doubled on ebay
HKMEx continues to outperform

That was my thinking exactly. I can easily afford the payments and now my exposure to physical is larger than ever now. Of course, I have borrowed money from my credit union many times and always paid them back ASAP so they really dont ask me what the loan is for they just know Im good for the money. Anyway, some of you might not get a loan as easily as me because Ive been doing business with the same credit union for over 20 years and my FICO score is through the roof.
I misread your post - no reason to go to a bank for a loan unless you want longer terms on your loan. Mine is for 3 years and I will pay it off this fall if all goes accordingly with the price of Silver.
You might try a bank or credit union for a loan instead of a credit card. I can get a loan for 7.25% - I know because Ive already done it and invested the money in physical.
That would make my portfolio look really good and might tempt me to take some profits.
We're heading into a seasonal period for Silver, as you know. Since we remain pretty much around 39.00 I think we will be moving up steadily very soon.
Get your physical stacked now before prices really move up!!
It's like buying a lottery ticket! weeee WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Its fun gambling on coins isnt it!!!
I use NGC because when I looked into it it seemed a lot harder for a novice, like me, to have a coin graded through PCGS than NGC. Getting coins graded is gambling for me. Ive sent coins in and got a crap grade then I get them home and take them out of the slab. I know I can better promote these coins and get a bigger bang for my buck without grading. There are a lot of people that will bid a coin when its marketed right even if its not graded. I know, I used to be one of them!!
So I dont go to a casino once or twice this year. I have fun trying to score with coins. One thing, I dont bid on non graded coins anymore. I bought a 1883 S Morgan graded AU50 by ICG for 90.00 and if I cross-grade it to NGC its worth 180.00
