Highly respect and love your response and 100% agree with your post.
I am in Banro for more than a year now. My first purchase was for 1000 share at $ 0.78 and it it is in my TFSA (Tax free saving account) and I have been adding to my account from time to time, now holding 49K shares at an average cost of $0.42.

Every win counts, big or small. Win is Win.
Sometime you win by one point and sometime you win by 20 points, still considered a win. Every penny counts and with small drops you can fill a pitcher.

Symbol ANVGQ does not work, tried to place a buy order .10 but got rejected.
What is the symbol for Allied Nevada Gold. I tried ANV, it said an error and I tried ANVGQ and ANVQ none of these works either. Can some one please let me know what the trading symbol is? What a bad luck, holding 35K shares at an average price of $1.45

I am hopeful now that it will go up. I am glad that a I never sold my original purchase of $ 3.44 from last year and in fact, added four times more to my position a month ago at $0.34 to bring my cost down to $0.96 and thinking of doubling my position tomorrow that will bring my cost down to $ 0.60 and hopefully will be able to come out of this with some profit or at least break even. It seems to me that GEVO will be trending upward now.
Good luck to everyone. Go GEVO..........

Good luck to you.

I am in VRNG since Apr 2012 and have an average PPS of $ 4.13 but missed Google pop and unfortunately added more at 5.27 on that day and then VRNG dropped big on ruling in Google case. I held on to my shares and double my position at that time to bring my average down to $ 2.47. Added here and there and now stands at an average of $ 1.75. Hoping my day will come when it pops up in at least $4 range.
Good luck to all. LONG AND STRONG ...VRNG

Would you able to tell me what specific questions should be asked from Naomi? My daughter works at TD Bank, a block away from Banro Corporate Office. I have asked her to call Naomi to set up a meeting with her and find out about financing deal with Gold Corp.

You are 100% right that 2014 was not terrific year for some longs.
I am one of them who is not too happy with BAA share price dipping that low. My first purchase of BAA on January 13, 2014 was at $ 0.71 and I had added some in the middle of the year at .52 and then added some more at .32 and more at .18 and have not added since then. I am looking forward to 2015 and hope and really wish that BAA moves upward starting in the new year.
Happy New Year to all and best of luck to everyone.

Sorry! I mentioned Banro in my post by an error. My average cost for ANV is $ 1.79 because I bought it when it was much higher than it is trading now. I added some at 1.68 and then again at $ 1.18 and now do not have enough powder to add more to bring my share cost down. I hope a buyout or some good news will bring good luck in the new year.
Good luck to you and thanks for the link.

It may be possibly true because Indian buys lots of gold for weddings. It is their tradition to give gold jewelry to their daughters and sons on their weddings and mostly 24K gold.
It is good for BAA because if demand is higher it will eventually drive gold prices higher.
I am long on Banro and my average share cost is still higher than three times of the actual price it is trading at. I hope, New Year will bring some luck to me.
Good Luck to you and everyone else.

First of all, I would like to thank you for your honest posts and I really appreciate your opinion. I was able to buy some ANV though at higher price at 1.65 because I missed the previous entry due to limited funds and especially a big position in BAA.
I would appreciate if you can suggest some tickers for my long term position. I am also in PAL for more than six months now but at an average price of $0.36.
Thanks in advance.

You mentioned on post # 13414 that BAA chart not looking good and it can easily drop down good and in your post# 13415, you claiming that you hold more shares than some of the institutional investors, I am confused, why you still holding a big position if you know it will drop down and fill the gap downward.
I would appreciate if you can explain that.
By the way, I am holding BAA shares for more than a year now and will add more if it drops further and not planning to sell for at least if stock is not above $ 1.50
