KUN thru $1 and into bluesky territory. Let's see where traders take her.
$1 is 52wk high, and after that who knows how high it goes. Exciting.
KUN .95 - very near 52wk high of .96, and seems to want to bust thru.
In from the low .50's here and not intending to sell until the new blue-sky range is established.
WHEN - India algae news
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - 01/06/11) - World Health Energy Holdings, Inc. (Pinksheets:WHEN - News), a public holding company operating in the alternative energy sector, announced today that the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, GNE-India, has signed a letter of intent with David Lobo from Deejay Coconut Farm PVT via a joint venture to build a 250-acre commercial algae farm in Bangalore, India to produce fish feed and Algal Oil.
Some decent volume today too
CGA - here's the post:
http://www.zerohedge.com/article/china-green-agriculture-cga-next-chinese-fraud
EGI potential XING sympathy play with their copper moly interests
http://www.entreegold.com/projects/
LTUSD - what am I missing here? Are they even eligible for an uplist at a share price of ~2.55? Reminds me of CIHD when they did a reverse that put their share price on the precipice of NOT being eligible, and then predictably the share price dropped below the threshold and they never uplisted.
Why only a 1 for 2 on LTUSD?
CHGS - covered -.02; not worth the risk here.
CHGS - shorted a few 4.44. Most Roth upgrades tank, so hoping that a downgrade doesn't cause a pop hehe
OSN - maj, agree that the story looks pretty solid from a steel angle, earnings angle, and peripheral rare earth angle. Expereience tells me that in all "bubbles", even the peripheral angles get serious play.
OSN - they're trying hard to keep her under $5, but if and when the rare earth net gets cast wider and wider, then users of rares like OSN will benefit. It's 5M float will make it a one-of-a-kind play.
Plus, earnings are there; not the cheapest in our space, but ~$7MM for 6 months aint bad
DHRM - seeking alpha article from a few days ago really lit it. Didn't think that was possible
Joe - I covered for .11 because the financing wasn't at a discount. Still, CDII is ever opportunistic in their financings.
CDII PIPE - short it!
CHGS is perceived as sympathy play to SHZ, which is ramping hard today. In turn, SHZ is perceived as a rare earth play, and if you're not following that theme then it's time to broaden the spectacles!
NFEC - i kept waiting for the seller to hit it with a low block, but i never saw it...oh well.
and is often the case, the pump is doing better than the "real" company
It's just a matter of time. One by one the sub-$1 biotechs are getting nice runs. None of those have earnings, many are listing deficient. Technically KUN still is but they at least have an accepted compliance plan from Amex. Regardless, this one is thin, profitable, and I am happy to own it from the low .50's
CVVT - at least it would be believable. Also, presumably at least part of the 600k share jump in short interest in the past month is attributable to Fraser Frost. That thesis for being short is no longer valid.
CVVT large short position >10%. If I were short, I'd be covering now that Frazer/Frost is gone as auditor in favor of Big-4. So far shorts not scared.
CVVT - in large on Big-4 accounting news. Should launch it nicely.
SBAY - sykes is buying, predicting that superman will buy. LOL
Not sure SBAY traders are aware that latest 2011 guidance is well below previous 2011 guidance...down to 3.12 from 3.69
interesting to see mkt maker CSTI bidding all the way up to .0095 today; this is an intriguing development ahead of the 12/31 deadline. I'm hopeful of a cathartic event, but certainly not expecting one. I really don't want to sell any shares <.10, but maybe that's a pipedream
SBAY - i'm out...thx santa. SBAY asking us to drink too much kool-aid this time, although the hiring of Price will make me eager to re-enter at some point. Just need a new kool-aid flavor and i'll be back in hehe.
SBAY - man they know how to spin a PR. First pricewaterhouse hiring, then fuzzy math, then this: On January 15, 2011, Subaye will launch its Groupbuy web portal
THey know how to push the buttons, that's for sure. Now i'm conflicted where to sell.
SBAY - mkt liking the PR; huge guidance and hiring of pricewaterhouse
linus - that's not exactly my understanding of the deal. I believe that Colorep has until 12/31 to decide whether to do the RTO (which means go public via CWBYF). If they don't, then Carthew retains its ownership of Colorep equity while also retaining the shell. I am viewing 12/31 as a win-win situation. It's been a long haul, but i'm actually hoping (and expecting) that Colorep will NOT go public via CWBYF, and that will allow Carthew to seek another merger partner (maybe oil/gas/??) in Canada.
On a side note, some interesting action today at .0092, with CSTI market maker bidding .0092, getting whacked, and then the resulting UBSS offer at .0092 getting taken as well.
abh3vt, hopefully he'd disclose the findings to the company so that they could short their own shares
JADE - Roth $16 target! I think they meant to leave the '1' off of there ;^)
Trying some, but Roth upgrades rarely seem to work.
KUN +19% - wonder what's up; heavy volume and some good blocks. Not seeing any news.
rato, sounds good to me
SBAY - not sure if it's moving due to impending earnings or because groupon stocks are moving and SBAY is a china groupon play. Either way i'm still in the red
SBAY - causing me some pain for sure. There definitely appears to be some bidwhacking on uptics, so i wouldn't be surprised if there are some shorts positioning. I also think that investors simply haven't bought into this company, in terms of what they do and where they're headed. Sure seems like the subscription model is a pretty good one for predictability, but maybe the belief question is more fundamental than the business - maybe the #'s are in question too.
re: BWOW - not sure, but hearing there could be some shorts stuck. This stock reminds me of TXIC TXICW. TXIC languished for a long time as did the warrants, but TXIC eventually ramped hard and took the warrants from sub-.10 to over $6. I don't think the underlying BWOW has a move like that in her, but there certainly are precedents for strong warrant moves (CCME another)
SBAY - too bad not getting found off YOKU. While not a 100% match, the rising tide should float all China video boats.
Subaye's online video advertising network provides production, upload, storage, and publishing onto video sharing websites.
I wonder where SBAY would be trading with that kind of mkt cap...ok, a stretch I know.
BONA weak open - china films
KUN - 8K out on approved listing compliance plan by NYSE/Amex; could move nicely now that this cloud has lifted.
