Fuel is not the major use of oil. And you still need oil to run alternative fuel cars. I hate being at odds on items with you because you have been a good sorce of info for me on this stock for a long time, but when I see people say things like that about oil I really question there understanding of what oil really means to the modern world.
Here is what I agree with. If we are not going to drill for our own oil in the States, then we are going to have to find a way to stop getting 30% of our oil from the Saudi's...
Also point of fact - we get a majority of our oil from Canada, this is one reason we do not stop buying oil, it would harm a country on our own side of the world.
Oil is not the enemy of alternative fuel. Poor public relations is. Saving the world is a bad market plan for any product (just ask Captin Planet - lame cartoon!
Finding the energy of the future that is cost effective is a better plan if you ask me. Besides, no one is going to win a fight with big oil. It is like trying to tell somone that Gold has no value. Being that alternative fuel is more costly then oil does not help either.
Are you talking about driving past HC or just greeny caps?
I think that we will need oil for alongtime for sure.

Well, I have to say you make 2 good points. I guess if it were me and I really felt the way you do I would not even waste my breath or time. But if you really feel that you are saving people from a bad stock, I can't fault you for that.
I have my issues with this company at times. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Hey Brookside - I am not trying to be an A#$, but here it is. Why do you even stay on the board? Are you still in the stock? I am sure youi don't stay for the conversation. And almost everything that people give you info wise is not enough to make you feel ok about AFTC.
Hey ack0605 - Hope you had a great TG!
Any reason why you do not e-mail him yourself?
Hope you all had a great TG! Looks like we are still waiting word on the CE. I hope we hear somethings soon.
I understand how you feel, I always look for things about a month later then what was told me with this stock.
Do we knoe for sure that AFTC fixed this issue? Does the 30 days start from the point the fix the issue?
Here is the best part!
SPLIT PERSONALITIES
Steve Davies is just one such small investor. A regular user of the boards since he developed a passion for investing in small cap companies after retiring, Davies lives in Cyprus and says he generally enjoys taking part in the daily banter on the boards and learns things on them he wouldn't read elsewhere.
But he also knows a takedown when he sees one, and he watched in horror as the attack on Nighthawk unfolded. "The allegations that were being made by four of five posters or one person with multiple IDs were extremely well written, they drove the price down massively," Davies says. "Whoever was making those postings knew they were complete falsehoods, but they were making very sophisticated, backed up statements.
I think that it is funny because there are hands full of folks that I have seen do this on our blog. They disappear for awhile, then all of a sudden they are back talking the stock up or down. or really drilling for the newest info about PR's, even though if they would take the time to read back a through the posts they could find info on PR's and new news.
Thanks to folks like BT the P and D crowed have had less success as of late.
What date did AFTC go on CE? There is a letter that I am not sure I saw from the attorny on the OTC web page from Oct 25th.
Oct 25, 2010 Attorney Letter with Respect to Current Information
Nice - let me know when the shiver runs up your leg. IE Chris Matthews! :) Then we need to worry.
I figured I would take some crap. :)
Oh well, I am who I am.
I am sitting here at my computer at 11:27 pm looking at the money that I have lost on this stock over the last 2 years. I have very much enjoyed learning from you all regarding AFTC. Sometimes I feel I have very little stock knowledge to offer the group.
So I decided to offer that which I do have. I am a pastor and God led me to this stock. So here it goes. Lord Bless this company!! Give wisdom to Jim and shine on our Country in the area of fuel technology! Amen
Here comes a good week!
Blessings to all on this Thanksgiving week!
I do not trust the Chinese either; however here are a few things that can help AFTC.
1) The US wants to start selling more American made cars overseas. We have to in order to change our economy. The Chinese also want this being that we owe them a lot of money right now. The Chinese were the number one buyer of GM stock this week. IF we are going to sell Cars overseas, we need to make cars that run overseas. IE DME trucks and fuel efficient cars. As we all know Ford Europe, who AFTC has worked with as the goods in this area.
This makes me think more than ever that AFTC has a foot hold in an area that will make all a lot of money.
Jim stated to more then one of us that there are no plans to R/S. Even with the expansion no R/S. He made is sound like they would take a loan out if the had to for the expansion.
I know what you mean :) That is why I don't play the sell it buy it game. I just buy it :)
I am just hoping I can get more shares where we are at now to even out my awful buy in avarage. I am still at .009 for my avarage buy in.
Call anyone tell us if it is sold or bought?
Have you ever known things to be on time in this stock? :)
South Korea met with Obama, not Bush. Bush does not work for big oil anymore. And we get no where in trying to make the government do any of this for us. South Korea does not want to buy cars and beef from the US. Can you blame them? Our cars run on gas, and they are trying to change there need for oil to DME and bio fuels.
AFTC has an opportunity as a private sector company to make cars that run on DME. The private sector still does better at anything they try then the government. IE Fed Ex is better then USPS, my Healthcare insurance is better then Medicare, investing in my own money is better then social security (money I will never see).
If there is anything that would kill DME it is big government getting a hold of it. But they will try I am sure, heck they have been trying to take over Big Oil forever by telling everyone how evil it is.
If we look to the government to make this happen, it will take allot longer.
The view of "Big Oil" is ridicules. If DME went big in the US tomorrow we would still need oil for many years to come. It would just be better for all of us if we stopped taking it from overseas.
FYI - AFTC did much better stock price wise under Bush as did ethanol then it has since 2008.
But I digress :)
The private sector makes and sells cars, well except for GM (Government Motors). AFTC as a company is going to need to show that they have something valuable to the auto companies. There are already DME fuel stations in Europe and Asia. We need to show the world that they want to start filling American made cars with DME, the only way that happens is by making cars that run on DME.
The USA only exports 5% of our goods, that number needs to change or our economy will never recover. Europe wants DME, lets give it to them and not worry about the fact that we like to use gas at this point in the US.
Hey All - I wanted to start a new line of discussion if anyone is interested. What ways can AFTC start making their company even more profitable? Here is an e-mail I sent to Jim. Just thought it would be nice to talk nuts and bolts to pass time until CE clears up.
Hey Jim - I now you are busy and probably tired of hearing from us investors. I was thinking about something in regards to your technology and DME. In the next decade if the United States is serious about getting out of debt the car industry is going to have to appeal to more than just the United States as far as potential buyers.
Seeing Obama strike out this week in Korea was disheartening being that we really need other countries to start importing American made cars. As we both know DME is the fuel of now and the future overseas. Because of this I feel that American Car makers needs to start fitting their vehicles for DME. Knowing that you have always been on top of things in regard to DME I was curious to see if AFTC has pitched to our own auto companies as a way to make our vehicles more marketable overseas. I was also curious about your thoughts on the matter. As always thanks for your time!
Wish I could, still stuck at half a mill.
sounds good to me.
that video was posted 11 months ago.
The video as you can see from below was posted by OTCINVESTORSOURCE
What do we know about OTCinvestorsource? Are we seeing a pump leading up to a PR again? For some reason I am feeling a bit skeptical.
AFTC Alternative Fuel Technologies Inc. Alternative Fuel Technologies, Inc. designs, develops, prototype manufactures and sells eco-friendly fuel systems for the global transportation ...

who threw together the AFTC video?? I am a little sceptical of the video. I thought the Navy project was a no go from Jims own mouth? And everytime I talk to Jim about Ford he has always been very careful to metion that it is Ford UK. This video had both the main Ford logo as well as the Navy seal.
It almost looks like someone threw it together at home and put it on youtube to create a buzz?? Any thoughts AFTC vets?
I agree with you both. We would only hurt things if we keep beating this donkey. I am excited to see where we go from here and that is enough for me.
I find it "fishy" that anyone would want to send for more info from Jim when we have had such great DD over the last 3 weeks.
I think that would just be pumper foder in my oppinion.
I feel that we are seeing the day traders thin out. Also - it looks bad when we just keep talking about what we have already talked about. Starts to look like pumping and dumping to me.
Time for the long game.
yes! :)
??? The last 3 weeks has been nothing more then disclosure of new info from Jim? Please see all BT posts, he even talked to him on the phone.
I realy hope taht Jim stops giving out PR details. I think it will really help keep the shorters away.
OUCH!!
So here is what I am really excited about! In the past before the run up to the PR we were trading in increments of .0001 a day and not we are consistently in increments of .0005 a day. It may seem small, but it is change, and it is trading up. As I stated last week, I think that we have found our new bottom. I feel strongly that with all the DD that has been done on this sight, we are moving up from here.
I think I would have stayed with it even if I was a bit in the dumps about it after the last few PR dumps. Some may call me crazy but I feel that the good Lord brought me to this stock, he has not led me wrong in the past. That includeds when I felt that he was urging me to buy Ford stock when it was only a 1.80. :)
I feel much better knowing that there are so many knowlagable people doing DD on this stock. I was more worried that I was getting snookered on a fake company then I was worried about the product itself.
Well even with all the wierd stuff that went on this week we were able to stay above the 3 mark. I think that is a good sign!
Good Stuff! BT for President 2012!
Seriously though, you have kept me from jumping ship a few times now.
Sounds to me the best way to help the company is to buy as many oustanding shares as we can and then hold them :)
I got a response from my questions to Jim today.
Here you go.
We were downgraded because some promoter issued spam relative to aftc. I have no control over this...I don't even know the company. We are in the hands of a bunch of scanners and I can do little about it short term. We are becoming profitable and we have over$ 1.5 million in contracts and will soon receive add'l. business.

Hello – I am e-mailing in hopes that I can get any info on why AFTC has been downgraded on the pinks when we all thought they were about to be upgraded. James I know that you are a busy man, but I have yet to get an e-mail response from my last inquires for the investor e-mail going on 3 weeks now. All the good news points to AFTC doing well, all the info seen on the OTC web page says otherwise. Thanks for your time.
Good stuff BT. I trust your posts. Good mix of facts with out the Polly Anna smile. Keep up the good work!
