Bought another 5,000 but it took 21 trades to fill my order. The first 5,000 shares filled in one trade.

Added some more myself at 2.15
Thought, Thank you.
If you have a chance, how much does the 70 percent change to reflect the grant of new options?
Someone did the computation before on this board. Yahoo says only 32.5 percent insider ownership, but that does not comport with my recollection.
Agreed. As I recall, isn't this roughly 78 percent insider owned? Too lazy to look it up.
Thanks UHD, Shows a bit of confidence, but keep in mind these were options exercised at $0.00. Appears they didn't have to pony up any cash, but they do get a higher percentage of ownership..
New "article" from HotStocked:

Bif, When the actual mining will start? Probably after they do the PEA, which will follow cleaning up all these data. Assuming they are also waiting to see which way the price of gold will break. No sense mining if it's not going to be really profitable. Hence, if gold goes back to $1400 it will happen, no doubt.
Alternate scenario is that a really rosy PEA, even at $1200 gold, will see them begin to start up the heap leach facility with whatever minimal investment is required and begin production slowly. That should goose the pps upward.
After all, neither Honing nor Frost are doing this to lose money. They may prefer to bulk up proven and estimated reserves and sell to a larger player, rather than actually begin to mine and refine gold here.
BWDIK?
The story of much of my life - caught napping. But not on $SYN!
Seel, Thanks for providing the coherent answer I could not.
Or maybe Black Cat firecrackers as an icon. THAT could have lots of meanings. Had a cat a long time ago but the then fiancee/now wife gave me an ultimatum: her or the cat.
You should look at Hugh Jackoman's posts as well and I apologize to everyone else for omissions.
GLTU and welcome to the SYN board. Guess I'm the only one checking in.
I am not sure why they decided on a combo trial (you really should read the posts by Seel, who I followed over here, and also those by TOB) but I am aware they consider Trimesta to be their "legacy" program left over after they had changed management as Kirk had invested.
I agree that Trimesta could be a major boon to many women suffering from MS and hope TEVA or others will be buying or licensing that drug. Also agree the new programs are exciting. Only here since the stock offering in 12/2013 knocked the price down and here for the long term.
BTW, with the handle "black cat" why the non-black cat icon?
BC, Thank you for the link and excerpt. If one makes the assumption (from the excerpt and assuming no other studies contradict that) that Copaxone alone is little more effective than a placebo, does it follow that Trimesta -by itself - might be the most effective treatment for relapsing-remitting MS in women?
Those were verry impressive numbers in the Trimesta plus Copaxone study at 12 months and not too shabby at 24, although the 24 month figures lacked stat signif.
BC, Ummm... not trying to be argumentative, but do you have some studies (with links) supporting your contention that Copaxone is the least efficacious treatment for MS?
I'm in full agreement that Trimesta seems to dramatically improve it's effectiveness (and with others that the cognition measures for Trimesta could blow the top off SYN pps) but WHY on earth are these other companies trying to produce generic glatrimer acetate (copaxone) if it is ineffective?
But, as you implied earlier, $OPK has so many characteristics of a developmental-stage life sciences company. Expectations are good, partly based on those products entering or which recently entered their revenue producing stage, and partly on many more products close to having a shot on goal.
Gingi, I agree it takes time, as with other stocks we are both in. $OPK pps showed great resilience yesterday and today in the face of earnings numbers some will try to twist and the one downgrade.
Jeff, My understanding is that because the primary drug Trimesta was paired with - copaxone - really only starts to kick in after one year, the dimiinished difference is noot due to any loss in Trimesta effectiveness. Further, there might still have been a statistically significant improvement at 24 months (T+C vs just C) if the sample size had been larger.
Seel can answer better than I.
And we had a pretty good pps recovery today in $OPK.
But I have confidence in YOU achieving that $COCP shareholder meeting. As he has no kids, perhaps he will so impressed he will adopt one of us.
lol, tho I don't wish such an outcome on you!
On the luch idea with Frost: I'd love to see how far we get on that approach. Perhaps they could actually have a shareholder meeting too.
George, All good points. Frost is known for his end-arounds and halfback option plays. Makes the Patriots playbook seem straightforward.
I remember how frustrated I was when - with no warning - BZNE just sold all of it's IP and programs to MSLP in return for MSLP shares, then the reverse merger of BZNE and what became COCP, and then another merger. It would be good to have a program so we know who the players are.
Steve
JT, I agree that news has been so light as to be almost non-existent and I'm letting my shares ride for now. While the run up we just had could have been some guys just trying to do a bit of manipulation, I'm hoping for some progress and real data. I've been here since it was Biozone and this is a very small speculative part of our portfolio. Hoping for a real pop at some point. I can wait.
So, what does everyone think of the new provisions released in the 8K? I myself am unsure how to interpret them, beyond the plain meaning of the words.
"Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On February 23, 2015, Cocrystal Pharma, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an agreement with Dr. Gary Wilcox, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, pursuant to which Dr. Wilcox agreed to terminate all benefits under his employment agreement with the Company, entered into as of January 2, 2014. Prior to its termination, Dr. Wilcox’s employment agreement had provided for a base salary, target bonus, and stock options. Dr. Wilcox will continue to serve as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer on an at will basis.
On February 23, 2015, the Company also entered into an agreement (the “Amended Agreement”) with Dr. Sam Lee, the Company’s President, amending the terms of Dr. Lee’s employment agreement with the Company, entered into as of January 2, 2014 (the “Original Agreement”). The Amended Agreement eliminated the target bonus and grant of stock options available under the Original Agreement, and reduced the amount of severance payable to Dr. Lee in the event of termination without cause to six months’ salary."
BT, What I recall from perhaps a year ago was that PGLC had removed the restricted/144 status from the shares, BUT the individual's brokers were giving them incredible grief over actually letting them do anything with those shares. They are definitely NOT worthless - you can always just sign them over to me
Many people in your shoes were complaining just how hard it was to get their brokers to let them sell their existing 144 shares and one or two brokers were insisting on usurious fees if they did let them.
When gzone replied to you on a similar question in November, he (?) thought you had received 0.8 shares of PGLC for each share you had owned in CRGC. I suggest that you go back about a year to 18 months and look at those discussions on this board.
If you look at message 1500, one IHubber is complaining his broker wanted $320 to give him his PGLC stock certificate from his old CRGC shares. So that is about the right message number to start your search.
Frankly, if all I had was 100 shares of CRGC, I'm not sure I would bother, as it would only be 80 shares worth $32 total. Hardly worth the effort.
But if I had 10,000 shares, I'd certainly read back through older posts and look at my old statements from my broker. Then I'd call the broker.
Hope this helps.
TOB, Liked it.
Your and SLC's comments have been upvoted.
Andy, It certainly implies that. I hope CTSO has sufficient IP to cover this use as well.
You're welcome!
At some point we'll find out if there was any substance behind the change in PPS.
My thesis is that Barry Honig and Phil Frost smell money here and that is why they are invested. There has been enough reported in terms of mineable gold, permitted leach facility, etc, to let me take a longer-term view and sit and hold. Gold was up $3 today, but that should not be sufficient to move the price of $PGLC.
I do not know if there still are holders of the earlier company here, who had received restricted shares of PGLC in return for their holdings. In any event, I hope for the best for all of us longs and don't begrudge traders making a buck on PPS fluctuations.
GLTU
None that I could see. There was an article on Talk Markets today on acquisitions in the gold and silver mining sector, but I did not see PGLC mentioned. May get something in my newsfeed later or maybe Barry Honig bought more -- but not as of my afternoon insider transactions report.
Stone, Yes, yes, yes.... that's the $OPK dream. Warm comfy bed with cold hard (can we describe $100 bills as cold and hard?) cash.
And my OPK shares are a three-bagger today!
I'm very happy with the current $OPK price action. Don't wake me up.
upvoted your comments. Good job.
Seel, Your rant was very much appreciated.
But now you have a hobby you enjoy!!! Go $ROX
No more trouble than usual getting IHub pages to load on my PC.
Fun, Had time on your hands, huh? Lots to chew on here. Thanks!
