There it is! ...The demonizing of Woodford...The one guy who could've kept shareholders health and wealthy. And now, thanks to horrendous corporate governance, he's down 89% with the rest of commons, bhe's the bad guy. Lol.
Great story but not one that translated into any way to raise cash that didn't cut the pockets out existing shareholders, even with all Powers wealthy contacts. May as well move to the OTC to make it look even worse.
All that may be true but what matters is the Maine neighbor likes her. Lol.
So many shareholders already dusted with very little acknowledgment from the hangers-on here. There's is no defense for it...Unless she's pursuing personal legacy, of course. Lol.
How you dragged Feuerstein into this I do not know. Liau is the principle investigator, on the other hand, and in direct contact with patients. They likely cling to her every word. If she says patients are living longer it's believed by the experts it has an effect on outcome, thus placebo effect.
Simple placebo effect stuff. Her comments about excellent longevity seen in trial patients influences the patient. ...Unless the trial has actually over, of course. ...Material event, of course.
...minimize risk buy assuring stellar corporate governance, clear and concise investor relations, and constant briefings to shareholders updating patents.
This company has and does none of it.
That's why it's so important in this space to minimize
That's why the CEO, CFO, Chairman just decided to crush shareholder equity with an awful deal. Daily affirmations are not the way to go here.
I predict it'll play a roll in extending salaries and bonuses but not so much lives.
Did any shareholders ultimately benefit betting on stem cells? Did Powers? Seems to me so far it's all gone nowhere.
The halt was the halt. So much time gone by now while shareholders non demands - zero accountability to the point the trail is likely a farce and management can simply walk away.
Never forget Geron. After decimating shareholders twice already they had a whole new executive team and tricked retailers again. I recall someone the equal of Dr. Liau (but not an investigator) commenting on the remarkable Pll results- "well, we'll just have to wait and see...you know how those things go (suggesting penny land biotech antics). The final results came out and, of course, it was a disaster..for shareholders that is.
The entire thing is a mess purposely. The system takes retail money to give to academia and research..and freaks expert in fund raising but horrible in fiduciary duty to shareholders. Everyone looks the other way.
So you're saying shareholders are being taken out of the IP ownership?
Precisely. Eliminate as much progression data as possible. Just one of the many ways to keep a trial going while collecting cash and salaries.
What a beautiful story. I have this image of Linda struggling-limping her way through the "woods" being chased by wolves.
She has a rough name to be doing that sort of thing. Lol.
Even if you're right, any half decent CEO would take that "continued hope for approval" and figure out how not to sell off a third of shareholder equity (really what we're talking about ) for peanuts while already being down ninety percent or whatever. She appears to have pissed off common shareholders one "fat cat" investor and lost major upside possibilities for shareholders along the way. Again, most shareholders are long gone and damaged beyond repair.
You're talking massive fiduciary violations. Better hope not.
And Powers, with all her wealth and contacts, appears to be playing right into their hands. If there was any truth to near term vaccine commercialization, there's a million things she could've done to turn things around FOR SHAREHOLDERS. Sorry.
..you see no issues there? And with NorthWest not even by her side. Major red flag, if you ask me.
And what about commenting on an active blinded trial, you see
I'd start focusing on who really owns this tech because LL is behaving like it's hers, the hospital like it's there's, and Powers&Co. like it's not common shareholders. It's all extremely strange.
And again, not a mention of NorthWest. Seems rude at best.
So the hospital is using the vaccine on patients already and the current trial is only there as a confirmation study? Are you all sure NW has the rights to this? Or is just more fund raising for faculty and salaries at shareholders expense?
They gave away nearly a third of the company for thirty five cents and got booted to the OTC. All you really need to know.
"Little left" ... Anything you can share on this? I believe it too having seen first hand the sneaky ways large shareholders exit while others think they're still holding. I guess it makes sense from a trading perspective as its good to avoid panic selling.
Terrible.
The21st Century Cures Act will allow players to extract tax payer cash and turn it handsome salaries and bonuses under the guise of research. Keep the government out!
Why would the independent directors appointed to investigate Phase Five and allegations (or just Phase Five's motivations...lol...) come up empty ignoring shareholders and Woodford, as the London Times reported? ...Bringing the stock to its knees in game playing OTC penny land.
"What makes truth uncomfortable? It is uncomfortable when we ignore it, when we suppress it, when we hide from it. Why did so many at Enron keep silent about shoddy accounting practices? Basically, because they got a swift and painful smack to the forehead when they did speak up. "
What about immediate commercialization, isn't that important? Results are one thing...
One really has to wonder how, with his experience and seeing the executive level arrangement and past history, he could underestimate such a thing...And not even put his own man on the BOD. Just like Ken Dart over on Peregrine...Absolutely bizarre behavior. Makes me think the game to take retailers has evolved somehow??
Heretic retail shareholders are left, this is true. And Woodford maybe, whatever his play is. But management has failed the other 99% of shareholders, as is obvious but their desperation to raise capital.
Fundraising vehicle for academia, faculty, and research with salaries and bonuses for "leadership".
The company already ditched its shareholders so...
So it's basically the lottery...Maybe more like horse racing. I see.
Possibly she'll talk about the "challenges" of working with a university and faculty. Really inspiring stuff. Lol.
Translation...They try everything. The trial data is a mess, at best. Company forgot to tell shareholders everything would be tried as the years roll by.
She'll speak about something similar to King's swan song ... Relationships with universities.
Do you think they're all on NovoCure? I think it's a good possibility.
