TRCPA, if you didn't know about that PR I would guess your initial DD was not very thorough. I did think at one time FASC may be worth a momo play, but I've changed my mind. The stocks I invest in do not have very active boards. The OTC boards do help determine the mind-set of the average investor and help to explain the reasoning, or lack of, buying and selling. Pretty much on the OTC are sharks and victims. The only money made is in short term trading or by management that get hefty salaries for non-performance. And the suckers keep buying and holding. Not to say it doesn't happen on the other exchanges, but not as close to 100% as on the OTC.
Past excitements that I bet resulted in hours and hours of DD. Investing should be like marriage, by the time your spouse get caught cheating on you 15 times, it's time to move on! LOL!
NEWS RELEASE - Aug. 11, 1999
FIRST AMERICAN SCIENTIFIC ISSUES UPDATE
FIRST AMERICAN SCIENTIFIC CORP. (FASC) is a fully reporting company trading on the OTC-BB. First American's micronizer employs kinetic energy and standing sound waves to disintegrate a wide variety of raw and recycled materials into extremely Micro-Fine powders comparable to talcum.
The Company has signed a Letter of Intent with Fortune Resources Corporation, listed on the Vancouver Stock Exchange, trading under the symbol (FRC). Fortune and FASC will initiate limited production at Fortune's Stormy claims in Winnemucca, Nevada. The letter calls for FASC to supply their KDS Technology System to process the dumps on the property that remain from previous artisanal mining. Both companies will encompass material from quartz vein systems identified from the previous workings, and process this through the KDS System and test the recovered material, determining if the grades are acceptable to expand the operation. The companies will share costs and revenues equally. A start-up date will be announced in the early part of September 1999.
In a previous news release dated May 20th, 1999 the Company was in the process of acquiring the rights to a license for on-line gaming for casino games on the Internet. The Letter of Intent is signed and final details for the purchase price will be announced when completed. The web page (for FASC) has been designed to give the shareholders access to information on gaming and technology involving FASC (at www.axion.net/scotts/fasc).
First American has also signed a Letter of Intent to buy the assets to a Virtual Video Store, with the rights to develop a virtual video rental store using video on demand technology over the Internet. The site will be used for the sale of Video, DVD, CDs and related products.
Management is continuing to expand the uses for the KDS Technology, on-line gaming, and mining, plus leap into the future of Video on Demand, giving this company a rapid growth rate. Consultants have gone to Ireland to complete the due diligence on the tire process. They are expected back shortly and a report will be prepared for the shareholders.
Certain information and statements included in this news release constitute "forward-looking" statements within the meaning of the Federal Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.

Another final 100 share tape painter!! Yesterday at 15:24 and today at 15:27.....I think it means one MM has to pick up his kid at day care and for all MM's to shut it down for the day! LOL!
Jamesfwh - DING>>>DING>>>DING>>>DING>>>>
MM's make more money with volume. I think we are lacking buyers here.
sambeaux, That's a good one. All the potential FASC investors were following the Reagan news. At the very least add a "LOL" at the end of the post! Maybe they should release the PR again next week when Buffet has his attention back on the markets! LOL!
bobsnook66, Let's look tomorrow and figure out what that signal could be.
100 at 0.07?? Only $7.00 + commission to paint the tape?? Good ole OTC! LOL! That was the only trade at $7.
Thanks TRCPA, I wasn't too sure of that, maybe my posts will be gone later! LOL! Good luck to all, maybe one venture will finally pan out before they have more OS shares than MSFT.
No move yet on the PR. I think that equals no/little credibility. I think there won't be a major pps move until they need to increase the OS and that will be preceeded by a fluffy PR blitz, JMO. I think they should have a circus parade if the Zeolite plant ever gets built. The competition is already moving in due to the lack of performance. Haliburton will move on if they aren't going to get a dependable supplier. All typical OTC stuff.
Golly! I just realized how long this board has been active!
Kind of sad to read some of the original posts and see how long some have hung in with the company. I hope you guys get your money back and more.

Post #of 2207
looks like fasc is getting it's ducks in a row slowly but surely. glad i stayed long this thing has the potenial to explode. just a matter of time i hope. looking good
TRCPA, I can read that same post on 100's of other OTC boards.
The strange thing is most long term investors agree about OTC stocks, but for some reason never believe it applies to the one they "found" and bought. They are great for the short term player, I wish I had bought some FASC at 0.07 and sold at 0.11, but then again there are "younger" OTC's out there that are much better momo plays. I doubt the buyers at 0.11 are very happy unless they cut their losses and sold out. This company has been around for several years and the history isn't pleasant for long term investors.
But good luck to you.
I thought cantstandsya brought up some very valid points. Sometimes this board will discuss the "positives" to death, but get irked very quickly on the "negatives". I'm an outsider looking in since I don't own any shares. Almost bought on the last spike to 0.11, but glad I held off. This is a typical OTC short term play only, JMO. Just the dilution, salaries, and lack of follow-thru on past "projects" are enough to stay away from a long term hold. Some excellent DD, but makes me wonder if those skills were applied to good companies a better investing success rate would be possible.
(Maybe they are being applied, but I don't think the results would be allowed to be posted here.)
Have a safe weekend!!
The machine looks pretty small in their picture. Maybe it's just for lab or test quantities of fine powders. I don't see any throughput figures.
Looks like these guys will be processing Zeolite too for C2C Zeolite. Has the FASC KDS already started at one mine?

gd2aussie3 - Do you have any more details on the private stock offering? With this placement will the dilution stop on the remaining shares in the OS? Is there a conversion factor depending on the stock price like CD's to protect the holder?
This could be good if it stops dilution or could be very bad if it involves a CD-type arrangement. TIA.
I4C6S...True, I don't think Northstar would let their name go into a PR unless they were 99% sure that the final approval was going to be done (is done?). Also, FASC would have mentioned the new unit since it would be the first one.
Will they issue another PR when the financing is approved?
"provided they meet Northstar's requirements for export performance coupled with a credit worthy foreign buyer who is insurable by Export Development Canada."
Will this be the unit in Ireland? Was there a unit in Ireland?
Or will this be a new, improved unit?
I think you have to take total buys and sells over several weeks or a month to determine any trend. One day doesn't do it.
400 share buy, smart money back?
tenzzi - I've been-there-done-that, if I don't laugh, I'll cry!
A funny from another poster:
"I find all my stocks on message boards. I especially like the ones going "to the moon!!"
I buy some, then when the price drops, I buy some more. Pretty soon I have a lot of stock, then I wait for it to go up. While I'm waiting, I check old PR's, filings, fundamentals to see where I went wrong. Once every ten years, I find one like MEM that really is going to the moon!!! Then I sell too soon and look for more winners on the message boards. Some day I may run out of money."
So FASC is the next Qualcomm? And I thought it was the next Microsoft! You have some funny posts! Thanks for the giggles!
Good luck all. Maybe the trend will continue up!
No continuation of yesterday's volume. I think these recent spikes are just players, starting rumors, and dumping on new buyers. Lots of support though when it drops back to under 0.05. This is a weird one and will be interesting to see how it eventually plays out. Just one major contract could move it up to a new base. Good luck to the holders. Back to watch mode.
"enthusiastic entity"? No big blocks at the end of the day or during the day, but could be "quiet accumulation" I guess.
Do not know if link will work. Try "reload" if it does not at first. See if buying continues tomorrow and next week.

This is good: "$100,000 to $ 150,000 annually as our share of the zeo-lite processing operation."
Zeolite plant won't be started until March. Contracts not signed yet? Can't find any revs for Zeolite.
"Construction of a plant in Princeton B.C. is planned to commence in March 2004. Presently, legal contracts have been prepared by our attorneys and are awaiting final signatures."
Thanks for the share info. Board is quiet, everyone waiting for the filing, I guess. Maybe a Zeolite update will be issued prior to the filing. I think the PR for the JV plant said updates will be issued, if I remember right.
Also, I think I remember the Authorized and OS being fairly reasonable for an OTC stock. Has the OS changed much in the last 6 months or so? Thanks.
Hey guys. I've had FASC on my watch list for a while. Wanted to buy when it spiked back in Jan(?), but didn't have funds available. It dropped back down in a day or so anyway (no news).
Just had another spike on no news and I noticed it was being spammed a lot on the IHub boards. Hope it's not becoming just a pump and dump stock. Any more news on the Zeolite plant?? That could cause a steady trend up I would think. The late filing notice said no substantial change from the filing during the same quarter last year. I'm thinking about getting in close to the Zeolite plant announcement (May???). Company has really been tight on news. Thanks for any thoughts. Good luck.
I may have to jump in here!! Anyone call the company about the volume? "No comment" would be good to hear, I think!!
Question for the board. I saw a FASC board on Raging Bull that looks like a playground for bashers. Some of the longs' names here are the same as there. Why not use this board only???
A link could be posted on the Raging Bull board periodically to guide potential investors to this board. Just a thought.
I haven't bought any FASC yet, but appreciate the serious DD by the folks here when I get time to check. Best to all.
chambers52....What do they do in the big lots, say, in Chicago??
I would imagine it would have to be trucked off site quite a ways since no "fields" are close by. Or do they process at the site for fertilizer???
Yes, you could say that....I think it just depends from what part of the country you are from!!!
Cows pee pee more than they poo poo = moisture not from rain.
Take a look at BABB.OB....apologize if it doesn't meet the board standard...hardly any volume, but the fundamentals are great for an OTC....Low PE, dividend paid, insider buying, low OS and float. Won't take much buying for it to take off, IMO...

BONZ....got nailed, selling on news, good company and already starting to recover. Sold off because CEO promised somewhat less than the world going forward....LOL!!!!!
I'm looking at March Calls....Good luck to all!!!
