techisbest, there must be other issues. Why else is it staying on the drawing board?
"So why isn't this system being built and bought?"
techisbest, I think your conversions assume 100% efficiency and there are water pumps, condensers, blowers, conveyors, etc. Went to the home page of the link you provided - great site for Energy news, thanks.

I4C6S, I was referring to the AGES system to process "biomass" with the KDS, burn for steam, and produce electricity via turbine and generator. I could not find any figures for the output of the system minus the system requirements for electricity.
techisbest, I can't find any info on a typical unit, ie., energy output of a system versus energy required to run a system. Maybe that's why they haven't sold any.
techisbest, I doubt the amount of material processed daily by the KDS and burned to generate electricity could even produce enough electricity to power the 250-350HP KDS motor. Maybe coal, but I bet that would be borderline.
Any update on the Zeolite plant? eom.
techisbest, don't look at the glass, look at the pps! You can't afford a glass! LOL!
Sorry TR, I was a bad boy. Off to jail for me! LOL!
techisbest: Great DD. Seems there is no "free money". Maybe a special offering like the attempt for the mobile KDS? But is there time to do that and could they find investors? The dilution will continue, IMO. TRCPA - How did an accountant miss that?
I found this board located at Raging Bull. Why isn't that board used if posters want total control over who posts?

joesixpack, I think "naked shorting" means they don't "borrow" shares so they could care less if you have your certs. What does your broker charge you to deliver certs? I checked a long time ago and it wasn't cheap.
topdawg_bc, I thought the KDS had an electric motor, are you saying it has a gas or diesel engine? I was replying to this quote:
"change in the spec from a 250hp to a 350hp engine in the KDS"
I think you mean motor, not engine. The KDS is driven by an electric motor which requires a generator driven by an engine, if no line power available.
Pretty stupid mistake by ALMI/FASC.
TRCPA, since you love that ManageSource report so much, I'm sure you loaded up on the other POS stocks they were paid to "profile". Check their charts.

Here's a list: DSNY, WFRI, LPLHA, GTCC, GSEL, PYST, ANII, ESLR, SRSL, ESWW, HYRF, RVIA,
OT: Waitedg, I have been an example of Randi's philosophy myself. I think you are a good person and I'm sorry if my posts seem like attacks. I wish I could express myself more like megster who has the ability to post his opinions, even with "negative" facts without pizzing people off. My only interest in FASC is seeing how long they survive before doing a reverse split or increasing the number of authorized shares. They just approved 10 million more shares for options and nobody here hardly blinked. Issued the shares while other news was diverting attention. I have no more "agenda" on the board than like a rubber-necker passing a 30 car pile-up and wondering out loud how the heck that happened.
techisbest, unfortunately the progress appears only to have kept even with the dilution. You should also consider, the more irons in the fire, the more dilution required. The money from HQ and DOE did little to stem the dilution. If I see the dilution end, that will be my buy point. Being able to get the grants does say a lot for management, but grants alone do not make a successful business. I think AGES found that out.
OT: Waitedg, think about what your son said, "Dad, you are 'married' to that stock. It has gone nowhere in four years." and also think about the following:
"There exists in society a very special class of persons that I have always referred to as the Believers.
These are folks who have chosen to accept a certain religion, philosophy, theory, idea or notion and
cling to that belief regardless of any evidence that might, for anyone else, bring it into doubt. They are
the ones who encourage and support the fanatics and the frauds of any given age. No amount of evidence,
no matter how strong, will bring them any enlightenment. They are the sheep who beg to be fleeced and
butchered, and who will battle fiercely to preserve their right to be victimized."
-- James Randi
TRCPA, looks like you are right. Hope they didn't use the AGES number-crunchers! LOL! I'm surprised FASC didn't include that little tidbit in their PR.
TRCPA, isn't the $1 BILLION per year in 2010 the expected ROI figure for the WHOLE sector. Or do you think that means ROI for FASC only? I'm confused. Sounds like the $5 million HAL contract where FASC expects only a small percentage of that.
Tough markets! Can't even get a decent spike out of a PR anymore! What do people want, earnings?
OT: tenzzi, I figured you wouldn't throw out an op like that unless on purpose! LOL!
OT: tenzzi, try changing you drawers twice a day.
"Yes Megs,My drawers are full also..!eom"
(Sorry board, sometimes I just can't help myself! LOL!)
TRCPA, will all those people be on the payroll, ie., Narayan, Dungate, Rozon or will they continue to get paid with dilution?
$9200 not much? What would the share price prediction be, say, for a $20,000 report?
Didn't they hold on to most of the shares they already got?
I think ManageSource covered the bases they were paid to cover.
Do you know of any company paid-for report that came true? I don't and there is a #### load of them on OTC stocks.
I bet they won't take all 10 million shares and dump on the market unless they absolutely have to.
techisbest, of course the question is, how much of the $717,399 is earmarked for FASC? Sounds like other equipment is involved too plus UT and ORNL expenses? FASC may be lucky to get a KDS rental out of it. Market not excited yet, but they really need to get a PR out.
Well, if they sent the grant award notices to Suite 700, it could just be setting on one of a 100 or so desks....

Maybe the terms of the grants have to be reviewed and the dotted lines signed before PR's? Surely those in-the-know would be loading up by now, or not?
I always thought the MM's knew before everyone else! 60,000 share buy, did 10zzz sell the Saab for shares?
Kudos to FASC, two project fundings? Sure are keeping it quiet! Good luck to longs, maybe some pps relief coming. It does add mucho credibility, and maybe some major recognition and JV's. Gotta give credit where credit is due! Maybe they can even cut back the dilution if they are not too greedy.
Hey! Even Santa Claus is there! This looks VERY good!
I may get some stocking-stuffer shares!
Santa Claus, Inc.

Boy, FASC sure has a big office in Las Vegas!!! Quite a few companies in Suite 700....
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=101+Convention+Center+Drive++Suite+700++Las+Ve...
Maybe someone should call FASC and tell them they got the award.
Damn!! More USA taxpayer money going to a Canadian OTC company!! I'm gonna apply next time!!! And they get cheap drugs, too!!!! I wonder if Kerry can use this in his campaign!!!! LOLOLOL!!!
TRCPA, as you mentioned, I really think we need to be out of Iraq before we see major market advances. Investors are nervous and on the sidelines for now.
Waitedg, please stop cluttering up the board. I want to hear more about tenzzi's Saab, TIA.
10 cu. yards = 810 sq. ft. for a 4 inch pad, about right for a basement.
tenzzi, be sure to fasten your seatbelt when you take the Saab out for a spin :))))))))))
This is interesting, 300 ton per hour for gold ore, and featuring CONE*Logic.

Knelson Concentrators reports that the Penjom Mine has become the latest gold mine in the region to place an order for a high capacity 300tph KC-XD48 Knelson Concentrator. "We are extremely pleased to have been awarded this order," stated Grant Steward, M.D. of ConSep Pty., Knelson's Australasian representative and manufacturing licensee, in a conference call from Sydney, Australia. "Over the years, Penjom has innovatively tried the full range of gravity equipment available to the market place in many applications. This new installation will replace a very complex gravity circuit with a simplified gravity circuit consisting of Knelson Concentrators only," added Steward. The new 300tph Knelson will result in making some equipment redundant, including multiple in-line pressurised jigs, a complete bank of cleaner spirals, a large continuous intensive leach reactor and a shaking table. The new simplified gravity circuit will consist of a KC-CD30, which is the only part of the existing Penjom gravity circuit that will remain, and a new KC-XD48 which together will allow Penjom to treat the entire -2mm fraction of the cyclone U/F stream. The Knelson concentrate will then be further upgraded by shaking tables prior to final smelting. The KC-XD48 concentrator will be configured using Knelson's recently developed concentrate cone selection and configuration system known as CONE*Logic. The CONE*Logic system is an application-driven approach to concentrating cone selection, design and supply.

tenzzi???? Are you saying FASC is going to crash and burn???
How long have you thought that??? I thought you were a "buy and hold" guy?????
"you never know this thing may just run off the edge of a cliff and you'll wish you'd buckled up"
