ITWO, fwiw, ameritrade analyzer shows a
Long Legged Doji Bearish today,
The Long Legged Doji has long upper and lower shadows
with the open and the close very close or the same. This
pattern reflects the indecision of buyers and sellers. The
open and the close of the day are very close or are the same.
The lower and upper shadows are very long. The high of the
day is very high and at the top of the trend.
Photon,
did you get out of brvo, I'm still hanging on.
JOHNBRIGGS,
still holding here- 20k, I flipped it twice on the way up to gain shares, shoulda-woulda-coulda on the run to 1.40, but all is well. Have to work for a living so can't get in on all the flips.
As far as opinion, none.
But what I am doing for now is holding, but cautiously.
I think the products appear decent, Bravo has done a good job with the limited funds they have had.
It appears the only choice they had to move the company forward in a timely fashion was to find a partner with deep pockets, the longer they waited the more of market share they would have given up.
Fortunately CCE came along, but unfortunately, it appears CCE wants more than just a partnership.
Granted a buyout "may" be beneficial to the shareholders but until all the details are known we are somewhat in limbo.
I for one would much rather had CCE as a partner.
I expect BRVO to have it's calm days, and it's volatile days until all is made public.
I too listen to the CCE cc that azpete0 eluded to. For anyone that may want to listen it is 59+ minutes long and the part about Bravo is at the end. You can fast forward the cc call, the Bravo part starts at 54.46 minutes into the call.

http://edgar.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?FilingID=3806669&Type=HTML
Has anyone seen the actual 13d sec filing, the only info I have read is from the Dow Jones news wire.
Several time the article referred to it as "the filing said" and "according to a Schedule 13D filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission."
I sured would like to see the actual filing.
It should become available late today for free, from edgar online.
MSGI, I have the online version and can find nothing, did an archive search and it retuned,
Article Title: "Virus Fighter May Propel Drug Maker's Profits "
Author: Gloria Lau
Section: The New America
Date: 12/9/1999
When Kelly Madison told her doctor she was suffering from pounding headaches, vomiting and that part of her face was numb, he dismissed her symptoms. It's nothing major, he told her.
A month later, Madison was so nauseated in the middle of the night that she couldn't walk to the bathroom to vomit. She had to crawl. The next morning her husband shook her, but she didn't wake up. He shook her some more and she became conscious, but incoherent.
Madison was rushed to the emergency room, where a spinal tap determined she had viral meningitis. A month of vomiting had left her 10 pounds lighter and dehydrated.
I had headaches so excruciating, it felt like someone put my head in a vise or a clamp, said Madison, now 31 and a computer sales manager in Tempe, Ariz. My pain was around my right eye. It was so severe I could hardly see. And I was violently nauseated.
That was 10 years ago. To this day, no drugs exist that fight viral meningitis. If Madison instead had become ill a year or two from now, she might have access to a new drug called Pleconaril, under development by ViroPharma Inc. of Exton, Pa. ViroPharma has entered the final stages of testing the compound, which claims to shorten the duration of viral meningitis and ease headaches.
My guess is down as many recent buyers have put in sells that will activate immediately when it opens and from there it may trigger many stop losses.
According to this from marketwatch, suspension could end as late as Aug 5th,
Also does the SEC notify the company, exchange or both when it can start trading again, and do they notify prior to market open giving the company time to put out a pr explaining the out come?
Does anyone know of a few recent haults that we may be able to look at for time frames.
The one you mentioned eagle, abix has no news on the Y prior to May 2004.

Market Pulse: SEC suspends trading in Host America
Friday July 22, 9:59 am ET
By Matt Andrejczak
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- The Securities and Exchange Commission suspended trading in shares of Host America Corp. over concerns that the food services provider gave investors misleading information about its dealings with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in a July 12 press release. The suspension is effective Friday and will end by Aug. 5, the SEC said.

Eagle, this from Fidelity,
last sentence.......
(((Short credit and short debit balances are calculated using the "previous day's" closing price.))))
Apparently Scottrade is looking at it as a zero closing price, it is probably one of their policies on a halted stock.
I Agree it does bite as it ties up the use of the cash for how long is anyone's guess. I do not know ameritrades policy on that sitiuation.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Short Credit/Debit Balance (Prior Day's Close)
If your account owes money, it has a short debit. For example, if a shorted stock goes up in price, you may need to add money to meet the minimum short requirement.
If your account is in the money, it has a short credit. For example, if a shorted stock goes down in price, the short credit balance shows by what amount your balance exceeds the minimum short requirement. You can use this amount for other purposes (e.g., you can withdraw it as cash).
(((Short credit and short debit balances are calculated using the previous day's closing price.))))
Photon,
Below the definition that Ameritrade uses, also a link to IBD although to get most of their info you have to be a paid subscriber. I had been a subscriber to their print issue for a long time but decided to convert to electronic as it offers more imo.
"A screen popularized by Investors Business Daily, this screen finds stocks making new 52 week highs that also have high earnings growth a nice confirmation to a 52 week high.
Earnings growth from the previous quarter must be 25%+.
This screen also looks for a volume surge of 125%+ more than average volume."
this will take you to IBD and the can slim theory of W. McNeil
http://www.investors.com/learn/c.asp
Photon, I notice on some of your post a week or so ago
I think you had them as "watch list", many of those stocks had shown up in a scan that I use on ameritrade advanced analyzer. It is a scan related to the IBD theory.
I have been running it on stocks from 1.00 to 10.00, since Nov of 2004 it has kicked out 108 stocks that meet the criteria.
I have them all in two tracking portfolios and to date the combined is up 39.87%
FORD,CYCL,VPHM,SOSA,VDSI,ISON,LB,GEOI,SZ,TZIX,GW,LUB,ANTP,TGA
Although some of them such as ANTP,ISON have been in the momo group as some others have they have settled down after awhile and make some nice gains and as always some do not.
I have recently started the same scan for 10.00 to 20.00 stocks, will see how they play out.
Photon, you called this right,

Steel: Undervalued and Moving Up
I have a small basket , AKS, MT, NUE, STLD
I'm also doing some work for a gentleman that is retired from one of the larger private steel fabricating company's here in the northeast. He said he still does some consulting for the company, he is in his early 70's.
Have only talk with him a little bit about the subject but he said they have a lot on the table for the foreseeable future.
Although he did touch on the ever increasing cost of materials he seems to think it is now being excepted that with the world demand (asia etc.) prices will only be continuing higher.
In hopes of talking more with him on the subject.
ot: Missy,
I took a look at your bd. Drummer and Missy's place, very nice enjoyed some of the music.
Question, is Old_drummerman the same one as on rb. the reason I ask is I had chatted with him several times on the adsx bd. a few years back. I'll have to stop by and say hello if it is ok.
Morning Vino,
headed out the door to work have a good day and enjoy your weekend trip to the car show hope you have good weather.
azpete0,
You are very correct with your statement below,
and I might add there are many out there that want to add to and keep the confusion going.........
"I don't think I can emphasize enough that too many people are not looking past this event. They are very short-sided and do not comprehend what is happening but more importantly what IS going to happen very soon! I'm looking at it from an investment angle vs. a short term gain & dump. This is not one to let go for a long time. Coca-cola just took bravo under its wings so to speak."
And , as I'm sure you know
this is very typical of a penny stock when an exciting pr hits, but in this case we have same day confirmation from CCE to back up the Bravo pr., imo that is very important.
"Yeah, its been super frustrating watching this thing trade the last 2-days, but give it a couple of days to 1 week..maybe 2 weeks maximum and you'll see a stable base point and then we grow from there my friend."
mcmike, nice post
I too have sifted through the sec filings and come up with numbers similar to yours.
As far as a reasonable pps, I would think it can only be based on bravo's fundamentals as of this date, anything including the "possible" CCE deal is pure speculation.
But with that being said, IMO the CCE deal has a very good chance of getting done and future years are when the tree will bear the best fruit.
You mentioned the Lehman report which I thought put forth the benefits to CCE very well, this purchase eliminates many steps and costs to them. And the CCE pr at least confirms all that we have read.
It is important as investors that we keep in mind,
1. this is a penny stock, and therefore will come under tremendous trading pressure.
2. the only facts we now have are contained within the sec filings, pr's although well intentioned can be construed in many ways.
3. the so called bashers and pumper's are coming out of the wood work, always have an open mind to any "informative" post from either side, consider them a catalyst for doing more of your own DD
4. be sure and weigh "your own" risk vs. reward, getting caught in the stampede can be catastrophic.
5. looking at what "could" have been usually leads one to make unwise decisions in the future, always look at what you have accomplished well and learn from past mistakes.
The best to all going forward,
Eagle, I've run out of iggy's on RB. along with most of my patience. Hopfully the others will follow, as always appreciate your thoughts and posts.
