After watching and archiving hundreds of anti-cannabis propaganda commercials from the "Partnership for Drug-Free America" going back to the late 1980s, reading this new survey acknowledging 1) Legalization is quickly picking up public and political support in America, 2) Americans want a sensible cannabis policy, where, like with alcohol products, only adults have legal and controlled access and 3) Parents have concerns about potential cannabis advertisements in mass media demonstrates to me that another major socio-political ‘tea leaf” has revealed itself with the PDFA now left to propagandize about if and how legal cannabis will marketed, not whether cannabis is an inherently ‘evil’ drug that will forever be prohibited.
With even the hardcore anti-cannabis folks at PDFA now recognizing the changing attitudes about cannabis in favor of legalization, when will Congress and the White House finally embrace this political reality too?

I am unaware of the White House addressing this serious PTSD issue toward practical applications ..... A few months following this news release ..... I noted a media whitewash job attempting to contradict Michael Mullen's statements by claiming the Veteran suicide statistic is actually only one per-day ..... IMO ..... even that is too much to accept ..... I only saw the rebuttal news-byte play one-time ..... I am not here today to argue the statistical points raised by Former Joint Chief ..... Michael Mullen ..... I simply wish to advance positive change along with mature dialog .....

Why are lawmakers hesitant to speak up?.....and do the right thing today?.....as we approach a day which venerates the noble vision of our founder's intentions.....
One finds some recent change on this issue at the state level ..... and notices continued stonewalling at the FED level ..... one has to wonder why American Veteran's continue to be ignored by "so-called" Washington policy experts ..?.. I thought they had responsibility to oversee the health and welfare of military personnel ..?.. At least some states have an incentive to review the PTSD issue .....

What's irking about the dialogue on MJ (ERBB)
...in these shows, is the MISSING information about its WELLNESS effects, ONCE AGAIN, relatively unknown because the govt has not allowed proper research on it. I am not speaking about its "fun" or cancer-therapeutic effects, but its general contribution to physical and psychological wellness.
In some ways, the smoking part is what people are fixating on for the HARMs, but for people who rarely smoke it (ahem), they NEVER see these effects. As the delivery methods become more well-known (eating, vaporizing) and people pay more attention to their bodies, the BENEFITS will be understood. Not everyone becomes a nacho-munching chubby fool just because they enjoy MJ-- for some the effect is the OPPOSITE and they become physically much, much stronger. In turn, these individuals put less burden on the health care system since they are much healthier. These effects are not well-attested to in the lit, and so we can only rely on qualitative (anecdotal) data.
Personally ..... I appreciate Dr. Robert Melamede's "FLP's vs BLP's" sociological paradigm concerning the importance of phytocannabinoids as modulators of optimistic ..... "forward-looking-people" ..... versus pessimistic ..... fear based ..... "backward-looking-people" ..... While $ERBB$ holds the keys for a simple solution ..... to help balance one's endocannabinoid system .....

Former "Senior Director Drug Policy Adviser" to Obama .....
All three panelists appear to buy into the spin of Nixon's "War-on-Drugs" ..... to greater and lesser degrees ..... as a "misguided-tool-of racial-prejudice" ..... though an earlier commentator points more blame toward Reagan ..... since minority drug arrests spiked during his administration ..... Deborah Small shared numerous compelling perceptions ..... and statistics .....
The basis of the segment's title apparently hinges on unfounded assertions made by America's notorious "Drug Czar" ..... creating an "appearance-of-cooperation" ..... while in fact .... nothing positive can be established to support the "pie-in-the-sky" comment about an official change of policy ..... unless I have missed something with material bearing ..... I feel certain the author of the segment ..... Paul Shepard ..... means well overall ..... but his concluding few sentences left me cold .....

“There was so much that [David Evans] was saying that simply wasn’t true,” said the Chief Medical Correspondent. “Every 19 minutes someone dies of a prescription drug overdose - [it] doesn’t happen with marijuana.”
According to Gupta, marijuana has the potential to be an addictive and abusive substance; about nine percent of people may become addicted or psychologically dependent. In comparison, around 15 percent of people become addicted to alcohol, with 23 percent of people using LSD or heroin becoming addicted.

According to an article published in Scientific American, Google and NASA have now teamed up to purchase a 512-qubit quantum computer from D-Wave. The computer is called "D-Wave Two" because it's the second generation of the system. The first system was a 128-qubit computer. Gen two is now a 512-qubit computer.
