I would agree. The only concern I have is that if they are this slack in relating to their their status on the market, what does that say for their management capabilities? One gets the sense that they have a very potent business plan and have more success than they know what to do with- a problem I wish I could say I share.
I hope they have enough sense to hire the help they need to relate with shareholders and ther responsibilities of being listed on a higher exchange, because that is where this belongs. in my humble opinion.
I'm waiting for more powder.
you guys are having a nice chat, but is this relevant
Is it possible to hear a recording of the CC anywhere?
OK. Good morning. I'm waking up. Is QSGI?
I agree. This is not going lower, or if it does, only very briefly, but I wouldn't bank on anything below .0003. Buying at this price is probably going to beat the market hands down over the next year. Long, I think this is the college fund. It may be a bit risky to throw in the 401 K but actually, I can see the logic. Good luck.
I have only begun to accumulate here, and will be buying more as the powder becomes available. But I don't believe Ken when he says it is going to be 5-8 years before this really hits its stride. I think if the stores get going, and I do believe they will, that the PPS will start to climb toward half a cent in the next 4 months, and that just one real 'hit' of an invention, such as one of the solar ideas, could pluck a chord at any time, sending it on a run.
To some degree, I share the concern expressed that he may be spreading himself too thin, and may not have mastered the art of delegating. However, if there really is as much sincere interest in franchises as he says, he will sooner or later have to hire people to manage that area, and the team will expand from there, in case it hasn't already started to attract good talent. He mentioned in a phone call that he had just recently increased his office space by at least two more offices, so we know he is not operating this singlehandedly.
All MHO of course.
Thanks STP I hurried home but was too late. Sounds like he was quite impressive in this interview. Any mention of Walmart.com?
You and me both B-T
testing the product I guess
i second that emotion
If there are problems with the machine, or with the software, by now the FDA would have said NO GO. But that hasn't happened. Either it works or it doesn't, and I would be very suspicious if it did not. For one thing, why would Dean submit it if it obviously didn't work? DD or no DD, I don't put much cred in the conspiracy theories some people are so quick to espouse every tine a stock doesn't behave the way they figure it should. If every pink sheet company CEO that is accused of running a scam was actually as bad as the accusations against them (by pink sheet investors), no start-ups would exist and we there would be no stock markets. I think some people watch a little too much Fox News.
I believe the FDA is dragging their feet because the DViS is so revolutionary that they are trying to figure it out and see what applications it can and can't be used for. Just MHO.
I would say WELL over a buck, depending on when you plan on selling. By this time next year, could easily be two. Easily.. IMOHO.
Is there any kind of timetable for the Q removal or formal announcements of settlements? Are they required to do anything by a certain time?
Sorry, we had no discussion of those issues. We talked about the retail store and what has held it up, which is a real estate issue. Ken is ready and apparently has hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of inventory raring to go but it looks like the building they were hoping to be in has changed hands. So they have to renegotiate with a new landlord, which is taking some time. Meanwhile, other options are being explored. It seems any number of things could fall into place to propel the PPS- but the main focus right now is the remove the CE. When that goes, I expect to see a steady climb. Of course, I offer this as MY own DD and not as investment advice...
in any case, I feel the future here is going to be potent. The timing is anyone's guess, but the main reason I am long and confident is that it seems there is a great long term game plan and money in the bank. (plus they just expanded their office space).
Just spoke to Ken and I was very inspired by his manner and demeanor. Seems like things are moving along in the right direction, perhaps more slowly than was originally hoped. Despite what the stock price suggests there is, however, real movement and strength in this outfit. The CE will be history before too long, and once that goes, this should move up nicely. Meanwhile, he is well funded and SSWC is a real bargain right now. All In My Humble Opinion.
It can't go any lower.
Wasn't there something a long while back when Dean was in the thick of negotiations and was meeting in Europe with Mineseeker honchos? I thought he posted that he had with him the CEO of 'our mystery aquisition number one' and indicated that this fellow he spoke about would likely be taking over the running of the QASP empire someday?... He talked of him as being a very bright and experienced guy etc?
Am I dreaming or was there some post about that? Not that it matters given the source, but all dots line up to point toward APEX. That was back then and this is now, but if I am not completely alzheinmers, there is some indication that the bonds with Mineseeker are entwined with QASP in more ways than meets the eye.
I think that is a baseless assumption and that you and some other people are looking for a convenient scapegoat to blame.
We might assume that something was defineitely crooked with Bradley, but there would be no point in jumping in to this mess unless you were trying to help fix it. If the point was to let it run down to triple zeros in order to short, why get involved and work so hard? Dean would have been quite capable of that.
There are clearly some serious issues with QASP, but the whole game of investing in developing companies is a game of hope and fear. I hope PPS is going to go up and I fear it is going to go down. The only way to moderate those forces is by digging beneath the surface for solid DD and learning from experience. For most of us, myself certainly, this has been an extremely expensive lesson, and hopefully I will be applying what I have learned here in the future in ways that it eventually pays off.
I may never meet or hear from B*A*N*K*E*R again, but I have appreciated what he has had to say in the past. I certainly hold him in higher regard than 98% of the posters on this board. And who knows? The Fat Lady has not yet sung yet from where I sit.
I think this will be beyond a dollar before Xmas and go up from there in the new year. JMHO. Way too much upside to this company- and I don't see much in real competition. What they do is basically provide a mandated essential service and nobody does it better. USA, Canada, Europe and who knows .... everywhere there are deaf people... there's opportunity for growth. And they have a working model that is easily duplicated...
GO MGQG!
To add to that sentiment- check out the message and don't shoot the messenger. HDOG told everyone he had a huge new caseload and a real day job, give him a break.
But he has offered some helpful DD- for us to FOLLOW UP ON OURSELVES or not. HHMMMM how might we do that?
I am not worried about this being anything but real.
The addresses jive. Krusecom is a real company. Maybe for the MMs some shorts have to clear before the fuse can be finally lit, but we are in good shape for a nice ride
Tick Tick tick KABOOOM IMHO
Thanks for this observation. It makes sense. I just wish the FDA would get off it's keezer.
This is a sleeper right now, but watch out, it is going to wake up and I want to be on board when it happens. So dreadfully undervalued at current price IMHO. News could set this on fire.
How do you spell GET READY in sign language?
Seems like it's been a day of idle speculation.
News would be good, but good news would be better.
I, for one, am willing to wait
and I think it is worth trusting BANKER and others who
seem to have a sense of the buzz on Jeff.
I doubt either he or Verity are pulling any fast ones on shareholders.
You got it right. Right now this is only going up and down on people's patience or lack thereof and there is nothing to read into the fluctuations apart from that. IMHO. The rest is pure speculation. It's hooked to the FDA all the way.
No point in reading this board unless you are really bored. One day (soon probably, but who knows when), it will suddenly be clear because we will look at our portfolios and see a nice green bulge. What this thing is and what its potential impact will be, scientifically, financially and medically, will finally be clear. I am holding on for those greener pastures.
Just got in this today after asking my girlfriend who is a nurse in a large New Jersey hospital if they have a deaf program, and she said they use Deaf-Talk. That after hearing an NPR show on weekend where some disabled fellow in California is suing all these places for not providing services to handicapped- so a lot of places are really trying to cover their butts. This is a potential solution to all kinds of problems.
It is all about funding, as many have said. However, funding could not have gone forward with Dean at this point, for a number of reasons. But beyond that, there has to be motivation, momentum, spirit, a real willingness to play and make this work. And I guess if someone is willing to put aside one seemingly successful career, and a whole raft of personal concerns, there must be something happening in the QASP formula to believe in and that is worth the inconvenience. I'm sure if I was a banker or major lender, I would be sitting up and taking a second look about now.
What gives me confidence is not just that we have fresh leadership, but that there is already a willingness to cut CET and by implication, take a closer look at the day to day, and be more transparent with shareholders. Go JR.
Hat's off to DEAN- Goodbye and thanks for the memories!
Finally you did the right thing and I am sure it was not easy.
Now, for the next chapter in this twisted tale...
Out of the tragic and into the magic!
Wishing I had more powder... talk about bottom floor opportunities IMHO.
Mine is showing a CEMJQR as well. seems we have been given an option to buy something, but no details. Can anyone decipher this?
I personally think that if it didn't work, that would be obvious by now and this would all be over.
In other words, the FDA is taking so long because this device is so potentially versatile. Thus they are testing it for all kinds of applications. That logic is the first thing that has made any sense about this delay on this board in months.
I'm curious, if the above is true, would FDA suggest it is a legitimate device for certain procedures and possibly not for others? Or might they fail it because it has the potential for misuse or misleading results in one application despite its positive potential or accuracy in other areas? I can't really imagine that but I am not familiar enough with their approach.
Anyone with more expertise who would be willing to comment?
Question to those more knowledgeable-
When all is said and done, will CEMJQ simply lose the Q and resume trading as Chemtura stock?
One way or another, shouldn't this work it's way back to the big boards?
Totally right on.
Verity, Thank you for your information and for doing whatever you are doing to move this forward. Clearly, it has been a heavy time and the stormclouds of hope and fear filling the silence need to be unlleashed.
It is sad that it has had to come to this. Maybe we have all stories of what happens when a person with all the power and glory outstays their effectiveness and has to be almost physically pried out of their chair. Whether it's a world leader or the president of the local tenants association, it is never really pleasant. Sometimes even the best attempts to oust a malignant leader fail- look at Iran and Akmedjinebad (or whatever his name is). Usually we see the stubborn but vain attempts to hold on and it brings out the pathetic and worst sides of such people, and they become very irrational. A wounded ego can turn as vicious as a wounded bear.
I have never met Dean personally, but the videos and calls and emails and PR's paint the picture of a proud but easily triggered gent with a slightly grandiose vision that has been stymied by reality. Obviously his dream was not so grandiose that I didn't invest in it (although sometimes I curse the day), and hopefully a fresh set of eyes and skills can turn it around and set it back on a good course.
It is not a happy thing to witness a man falling from grace at the end of an otherwise proud career. So pardon me if I do not rejoice at this turn of events. However, I will add my voice of support, since this is beyond sentimentality. The time for pacifying, gathering support for this or that faction and poloticking to look brilliant is over. When it is time to cut, the cut has to be clean and precise. Go for it and good luck to us all.
All IMHO of course.
HOLY BIO-ENERGY-MERGER BATMAN!!!!!
This is a huge development. I am curious as can be as to what this is going to actually mean for the future of this BEHL. I can only see it as positive.
I still don't have mine.
Something is up in Jacksonville.
thanks for this DD
Good to hear from you Alchemist. I like your attitude.
So, this being Wednesday night at least in Vermont, I expect there are a group of stalwart BEHL staffers out under the moon fastening the right pipes to the proper hoses. Hopefully it is a nice night on the desert.
This week the BioCentric Team here in Santa Ana have assembled most of the first two quarter acre installs for Death Valley Junction and will have everything completed and delivered to DVJ by Wednesday. Six Team Members and myself will be executing the install under the stars to avoid the scorching desert rays ... and we have learned how to do it right the first time from the lessons learned here in Santa Ana. Our target date for the first half acre operational is next Friday. The introduction of the inoculums is scheduled for September 15th."
B*A*N*K, I hope you are right.
For some reason I have trusted you from the get-go, based on what seems like common sense, DD and sympatico vibes. Also, let's face it, I want this to work. I have invested a lot of money for someone without a lot to begin with. It has been a learning experience to say the least.
It's hard to walk the line between flagrant pessimist and kool-aid optimist and keep a cool head. I try, but admittedly it has not been working out so well on an hourly basis. When I look at my mind I think the technical term could be something like mood swings or panic attacks. Anyhow, as a therapist, I am taking my own advice and staying away from IHub for extended periods, which helps.
Meanwhile, QASP feels like it is at an ultimate crossroads.
The sense I get is that while Dean has been working hard to get this done, and doesn't really want to think like a shareholder exactly, he has also really run out of time, options and money.
So if there is indeed a deal that has been hammered out and the 2 Apex gents are working as loyal advisors, and with VERITY applying pressure and skillful advice as well, I think this could work. It could also be Dean's last chance to stave off his own economic collapse and loss of all respect from his remaining allies.
Let's say, for argument's sake that they have a loan agreement and there is truly a good chunk of money but not the full original amount. Can you envision a reorganized QASP capable of building an empire but at a little more measured pace, and with a little more modestly and less hyperbole, perhaps, at least to begin with?
And, honestly, do you see Dean being able to curb his seemingly manic appetite for the whole enchilada all at once, and taking the direction of cooler heads?
